Archway in Wandsworth

Wow que lugar! ! , fabulosa comida, servicio y ambiente, especial gracias a nuestro camarero Nyall, tan atento y conocedor del menú platos y cantidades. La ubicación es estupenda, muy cerca de la central eléctrica de Battersea, una pequeña joya real, no dudaría en volver.

Restaurante increíble! Ambiente muy agradable, personal súper encantador y deliciosa comida, honestamente wow! Mi nuevo restaurante favorito en Londres. No puedo recomendarlo lo suficiente.

La comida era fantástica y el personal tan atento - recomendaría altamente. Vinimos para una cena de aniversario y nos trataron tan bien y con un servicio tan amable. Definitivamente conseguir los bombolini y la focaccia como un must absoluto 👌🏻

Este lugar es impresionante. Escondido pero muy cerca de la central eléctrica de Battersea y el parque Battersea, la comida es gloriosa, el servicio encantador y el ambiente es el de un restaurante independiente en la parte superior de su juego. Teníamos el brill que estaba muy bien cocinado, la lubina que era impecable y el risotto que era diferente a cualquier risotto que habíamos probado antes (en el buen sentido).

Escondido dentro de un arco de un puente ferroviario, Archway no es un destino con el que puedas tropezar y agradecer a Dios por eso porque sería simplemente imposible coger una mesa. Solo una palabra se puede utilizar para describir Archway, y esa palabra es "Sexy" - desde el ambiente excitable a los cócteles de boda a los deliciosos platos pequeños e incluso los chefs! El gerente del restaurante Bubbly, Sammy, es quizás el mayor activo de Archway. Bravo!

Hermoso entorno hermoso, gran servicio. Pigeon era excelente, todo lo demás muy agobiante. Bastante... soso. Faltaba sal y umami. Realmente lástima, estoy seguro de que con un par de toques aquí y allá podría ser fantástico. Vino muy bueno

We had the chefs table, so that was a great viewpoint. Food was incredible. I had the pappardelle beef short rib. Big portion, so was really filling. Nice atmosphere. If you don’t know about it, its certainly not visible. Would go again, and I would recommend.  

We sat at the chefs table is it was amazing. The chef was so impressive and talked with us a lot. Sous chef was in charge, young fella with dark long hair and seemed very impressive at the helm. Staff very friendly. Food amazing

The power of TikTok led us to this restaurant and it did not disappoint. From the warm professional greeting from front of house to the outstanding food it was all just perfect. The service was exceptional,; the menu was explained to us in detail and was attentive without being obtrusive. The food was stunning. We ordered a flat bread with burrata and mortadella, the onglet steak, stuffed squid with a side of roast potatoes, and to finish a tiramisu and bomboletti. All were served as sharing plates which suited us perfectly. We sat at the counter overlooking the chefs in the kitchen and were able to watch how they prepared the food, again quietly and unobtrusively. Such a lovely experience, I would be back tomorrow if I could. In any event I am already looking forward to my next visit.

Absolutely Fault-less. The best meal I've had in a while! We visited Archway in Battersea at the end of June with my boyfriend's Family. Upon arrival it's a very unique spot which is off the beaten path, but easy enough to find. Although under a railway bridge, it isn't actually as noisy as you'd think and the setting feels nice and intimate. The ambience and decor was beautiful, minimal & stylish. The Tableware was lovely too, it honestly makes all the difference in my opinion. The service was amazing too, We were talked through the menu by a waitress who gave us some recommendations, and also made sure we were topped up with water/wine throughout. We ordered the Mortadella Burrata and Pistachio flat bread, and the Tomato Basil and Parmesan Flatbread too, this was the perfect starter size for 4 people. We then ordered The Beef Ragu and the Porcini Mushroom Risotto. Both were so flavoursome and delicious, you can tell the food is really made with love and care with quality ingredients! We would also recommend the house white wine, the 'Chin Chin' as a nice light wine with a delicate fizz, the perfect accompaniment to our dishes. The portion sizes were really generous so we unfortunately had no room for dessert, but thats just a great excuse to return ;) I already can't wait to go back, I was so impressed with this place, Its the best meal I've had in a while!

My boyfriend and I visited Archway for his birthday dinner and I am so glad to have tried it out. The atmosphere is so relaxed, warm and cosy and the service is amazing. Special thanks to our waitress Tomi who not only was incredibly sweet, but also reliable and switched on whenever we needed something. Super romantic setting with delicious food. We went for flatbread and burrata to start, followed by small pasta dishes and a main of monkfish to share. It was scrumptious. Highly, highly recommend to everyone, we will definitely be back!

Honestly, one of those restaurants that suffers from the fact that London is jam packed full of fantastic places to eat. Unfortunately, Arches is fairly unmemorable, decent if not spectacular food, nice ambience but nothing overly special, decent but not overly capable waiting staff. I wouldn't warn against, but I will probably forget about the experience fairly soon. Note to restaurant: you need to change or remove that Crab Taglioni dish. It's very subpar, easily the worst main I've had in a decent restaurant in years. The rest of the food was tasty enough, but man that dish is a dud

Really liked the ambience nice buzzy toom tables just far enough apart. Could do with another toiiet (though that nay just be a function of the location). Service was nice and efficient. Food average nice enough but nothing special and there's definitely better Italian food out there (and in South london). Decent wine list. All in all everything you need for a pleasant evening.

Great food but very disappointing service. The waitress who greeted us at the door, who I think is the head waitress, was extremely rude and unfriendly. It's a shame because I came back here because I enjoyed my last visit it but my view has changed completely. She wasn't there the first time I went when the restaurant first opened. She was grumpy, blunt and rushed us to leave because the restaurant was closing. The food is very good and the trainee waitress was great. A shame as the restaurant has such potential. I wouldn't normally leave a bad review but I found it disappointing

The food was overall good, some dishes were really good, others less so. Unfortunately most of the plates were under seasoned and there wasn’t any salt & pepper on the tables - it then also took longer than one might typically expect to get a server’s attention to ask for some (amongst other things, like drink refills etc). However, it is worth highlighting the restaurant was very busy which provides some mitigation. It is a shame as it did impact the overall experience of the evening, which was otherwise in a lovely setting with some great dishes.
