The food was very tasty and fresh. Service was friendly. Highly recommend.

If you don't like the Crossroads Café, then you don't like caffs, fry-ups, London, or life.

While the rating doesn’t do it justice it is accurate. The food was mediocre although the party I was with loved it, they were all drunk so make of that what you will. All in all I wouldn’t go there looking to dine out but if I drank it is a fun place to be.

Really interesting and lovely food, but the service is not great. Slightly distant and unfriendly and it’s very noisy whilst the food is good. It’s not somewhere I feel relaxed or want to go to regularly as a result.

We were very much looking forward to come back here as we used to go regularly. It used to be rustic, relaxing and great tapas. The whole experince was chaotic as one waiter desperately tried to throw out food that was overcooked, dry and with zero love put in. To fail with such basic dishes and then charge 10 pounds per plate is a disgrace. When we complianed about a dish the staff just shrugged their shoulders with a smile and a knowing look before taking it away. No owner or manager in sight. Such a shame!

I ordered the pork noodle salad, and it was the worst I’d ever had, instead of delicious pork I received these pork sausage patties, which tasted like dog food, couldn’t even eat it, no herbs or anything, I’ve ordered from this kitchen many times and been happy, I won’t be ordering from them again

This is a review for Bar Levan which adjoins Levan. I turned up on a Friday night and there were quite a few tables. They obviously didn’t like how I looked as they turned me an away but sat two young pretty girls behind me. I’m standing out in the rain! 😂 I made a reservation (there were plenty available) and returned. They said we have no table for you, interestingly I stood outside watching free tables. Oh dear - am I too old or ugly?! I don’t think I did anything - perhaps not cool enough. Wait until all the hipsters leave and places in Peckham will be forced to seat residents! 😂

Came with my family today, service was absolutely amazing and food was really good, our host lost on was very attentive and it’s definitely somewhere where I’ll return

Wanted a Chinese for our last night in UK, before returning to the USA. Based on reviews we took an Uber from our airport hotel, having called ahead to reserve a table (something you should do). This place gets busy ! The speed of our service suffered due to this, but we didn’t have time constraints. BIG DIFFERENCE !!! The entree dishes are small, but are priced fairly. You could easily order 3 or 4 for 2 people. Our duck with pancakes was very good, as was my special chop suey (not a lot of protein content), but my wifes chow mein, while tasty, was very dry. When questioned the server said this was their normal style and sauce could be added by ordering a ‘special’ chow mein. A few tweaks here and there and this could be an excellent Chinese.

Ate at 6.30pm on a Friday night. Friendly, sociable atmosphere, prompt polite service and tasty selection of meat and vegetarian options, all of which were really tasty, with pronounced individual flavours, definitely not bland. BYO alcohol. Very reasonable food prices and portion sizes were great. Not an excessive amount but a well balanced plate for each guest and all delicious. Well done to the whole team, we are keen to return!

Came down here and absolutely loved the beer range. The food is also quality and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Also came down for the jubel party and DJ which was great.

Un lugar realmente encantador, pero la noche que fui, el personal estaba desesperado. Fueron muy amables pero confundieron nuestro pedido, trajeron nuestros pedidos en diferentes momentos, así que terminamos dejándonos enfriar mientras llegaban el resto de los pedidos.

Visited to celebrate a family birthday - so glad we did; it was a perfect evening. The food is fantastic and the meat cookery is of highest standard. All the staff are welcoming and friendly, the decor is lovely and the menu inspired. Lamb ribs are a real treat. I look forward to visiting again.
