The food was spectacular from start to finish. Highlights were definitely the Harissa Beef Tartare and the Dry Aged Prime Rib (it was cooked to perfection with an amazing crust). The wait staff explained that a special wood is added to the grill for a smoky flavour distinct to South Africa. The flavour combinations were in point (the Monkfish and pork chop were so so tender, although slightly on the saltier side). DO NOT PASS ON TBE DESSERTS! Both the Melkert Choux Bun and the Burnt Cream Ganache were showstoppers (we ordered another of the Chouc Bun - it was that good)!

Second time visiting. In January 2023, four of us had a weekend dinner. None of us had heard of this place but we left loving it. This time, two of us had a weekday lunch. Not local to either of us but it shows how much we enjoyed it the first time around that we made the trek from our respective areas. The food is wonderful and the service lovely. In fact, shout out to the lovely lady working on 7 July who said she used to be a pro basketball player. I suddenly realised it was nearly closing time (2.30) and said to my friend we should wolf our desserts down. She said not to rush and take our time and was lovely to chat to as well. Another reviewer described this as a neighbourhood restaurant but it's so good I think it's a destination restaurant too. Planning a third visit soon.

I went to this restaurant without knowing anything about it as part of a birthday dinner surprise for a friend of ours. This pub-looking restaurant doesn't reveal much, but once you enter the place, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the cozy yet chic atmosphere that awaits you inside. The menu is meant to be shared, and we were lucky enough to be a small group and able to try almost their entire menu. Most of the dishes were brilliant, with the exception of a few that were standard, but overall, it was a fantastic experience. The service could be a notch better to make everyone's visit a delight. Thanks, team!

Friendly welcome as we entered the restaurant. Really nice vibe without being too loud, nice decor and clean toilet. Very impressed with the food, between 3 of us we had 2 snacks and 1 starter. We had a main each and 2 sides to share. Plenty of food and all super tasty. We had a couple of servers, one was very knowledgeable and explained the cocktails and menu in detail. Another we presume was newer to the restaurant and felt a bit more awkward. My only criticism would be that they wouldn’t ‘release’ the starter with the snacks as requested until we ordered mains. We felt that this was as an odd rule and felt it was very money focused. We were there for dinner so mains were a given for us. It was a more expensive meal but we felt that it was worth it as a treat and the food was amazing. Overall we would recommend.

Lovely staff and hearty food. We went for a Father's Day lunch. Not surprisingly packed. Yet we were neither rushed nor left waiting for our food. A limited but wide range of choices for starters and mains made decision making easy, and all was very tasty. I'm glad we chose some of the side dishes, not because we were short on food, but because they really added additional tastes and textures.

What a treat! Incredible food, top quality wine, also the service was perfection. Great way to spend our two year anniversary! My partner is South African and has heard a lot of hype regarding Kudu through friends and family, we were not disappointed and will definitely be returning with some guests!

Outstanding. This is one of the best meals we’ve had in London. Great setting, brilliant service and the food is stunning. Stand out dishes were the pork chop, bream and MelkTert choux bun. However the grilled peri peri prawns are out of this world. £100 a head for 7 dishes, 4 drinks and a bottle of wine. Cannot recommend Kudu Grill enough, we will be back!

This restaurant is such a gem, every bite I took from what I ordered I was humming away in my head wind doing a little happy wiggle. I cannot recommend this place enough. Since my partner and I went all we keep on saying is we need to hurry up and go back. Even when we received our food the staff explained to use the best part of them meat and the sauce and was just really warm and lovely I order the - biltong, fingerlings, grilled courgettes and of course the T-bone stake(which was perfection)

The food was just ok but felt rather English in taste and unadventurous in flavour. The prawns were quite bland and did not taste very fresh or succulent. With back to back sittings, it also felt rather rushed as plates were being taken away almost half eaten and then bang on the two hour mark we were unceremoniously asked to leave. It was also a birthday for one of our party which they did check upon arrival but then did not acknowledge at any point. Had high hopes as it was our first visit but overall rather disappointing!

Have been a regular at Kudu in Peckham, this was our first visit here. Although the concept is the same, this venue is more spacious, slightly more “restauranty”. However, the food is just as fabulous, couldn’t fault it. They don’t oversell dishes, they recommend a reasonable amount of food. Each dish is balanced. The stars are obviously the brai cooked items. We had the black bream, delicious, but were eying with envy , the t bone on the next table!!! Service was so helpful yet unobtrusive . A plus is they are dog friendly. We’ll worth a visit, see you there!

I can’t quite describe how damn good this place is. Best steak in London for starters, that’s for sure. Every dish has been perfected, flavour and character off the charts. As two big foodies, we’re yet to find another restaurant in the city that matches this in terms of quality and experience.

Now I do not claime to know anything about Ethiopian food, so thought the best way was to try some. What I had was a good mixture of flavours on one plate. Hot, a little spicy, and different textures.

This place is great! Really great food for a great price. We always get one meat, one vegetable (the only menu choices) and they're always made to perfection.
