Puedes comprar comida asiática a muy buen precio (barato para ser Londres) para comer en casa (hotel o apartamento). Lugar limpio y personal educado. Dulces y merchandising coreano también
Yesterday, I was catching up with a friend from New Zealand and we had the 2 course set menu. The staff were friendly and efficient.
The salad starter was tasty with a decent amount of Boursin. However, both our steak frites were very disappointing. The chips were fine, but the quality of the steak was unacceptable. Yes, it was a minute steak, but it had a lot of gristle and despite asking for medium rare it was mostly grey with a streak of pink. Even if it had been medium rare, the essential quality of the steak was poor. The set menu is good value and yes, you get what you pay for, but one still expects good quality food. I have always enjoyed the minute steak at Côte in Richmond so I am familiar with the set menu dishes. I now wish we had paid the £6 to upgrade to the other steak at Côte Southbank.
Regarding drinks, the Marmalade No-groni was flavoursome but tiny, especially with a price tag of £8.50.
I don’t think I’ll be visiting this Côte any time soon.
Aunque el servicio era bueno, la comida era terrible. Éramos un grupo de ocho personas y nuestra comida llegó dentro de 10-15 minutos de pedido. Lo que significa que todo se calentó antes de preparar la comida. Pedí un Calzone, que consistía en un 40-50 % de masa y algunos trozos de verduras insípidas y pierces, con pasta de tomate en el medio, el peor Colzone que he probado. Y suelo pedir Calzones en restaurantes italianos. Tenía una forma preformada con un borde engarzado, no una base de pizza doblada, se cubrió con un poco de queso parmesano molido previamente de un paquete. Cuando el, supongo gerente vino a nuestra mesa, después de la comida para preguntar si habíamos disfrutado de esto, le dije lo que pensaba de mi Calzone. Tuvo la mejilla de sugerir que vendría a visitarme a mi restaurante como respuesta. Evita esta trampa turística a precios escandalosos a toda costa. No puedo creer que haya recibido críticas decentes y sólo puedo respaldar lo que se dijo en la revisión de marzo de 2025.
Unfortunately my order was not correct, also the fries were cold, and they never provided ketchups or napkins which is seen as standard in most McDonalds.
Perfect place to eat with children on the south bank and really reasonable too. (£6 for pasta and meatballs, fries and broccoli!).
I was having a day in London with my 6 year old and stupidly hadn’t brought the plug for my charger, everything was on my phone such as Apple Pay for the tube, and theatre tickets for later etc. so by the time we went for an early dinner I was panicking. The restaurant does have charging ports which is so helpful but I didn’t have my plug. Staff showed me they had portable chargers for £3- perfect. However it didn’t work when I paid! (Nothing to do with the restaurant though)
A couple of staff weren’t really sure how to help, but one staff member said he would help me and went to ask his colleagues for a plug for me. One came through and took my phone to charge it. To say I was relieved was an understatement, we stayed for a really nice coffee and dessert after our mains. We were able to enjoy the rest of our special day thanks to their kindness. Really enjoyed the food too. Thankyou!
Tenía una reserva aquí anoche. Lo lamento. Nunca supe quién era mi camarero. Tuve 4 personas diferentes en mi mesa durante el transcurso de mi comida.
Pedí su hamburguesa Riverfront. Gran error. La carne utilizada era prácticamente no comestible. PUDE publicar una foto abajo de 7 trozos grandes de GRISTLE que no tuve más remedio que quitar de mi boca y ponerlos en mi plato. Pero, amablemente me abstendré de exponerte a eso, ¡ya que difícilmente puedo verlo yo mismo!
No aceptan efectivo. (No lo supe hasta el final de mi velada.) No hay problema, usé mi tarjeta de crédito. Luego le mencioné al camarero final de mi mesa, "Bueno, apuesto a que acepta propinas en efectivo, ¿verdad? " Ella dijo: "¡Por supuesto! " ¡Ahora estoy muy confundido con QUIÉN recibió la propina! (Supongo que fue directo a su bolsillo, aunque un par de los otros camareros realmente hicieron la mayor parte del trabajo.)
Es una pena. La ubicación es maravillosa, sin embargo, sin duda evitaré cenar aquí de nuevo.
My friend and I went to the Wharf, for lunch yesterday. It was a terrible experience. We ordered fish and chips, and steak and chips. The steak arrived first, and sat on the counter by the till as both waiters struggled to identify who the dish should go to. To put this into context, there were three occupied tables, including us.
When they worked out it was for my friend it was brought over. We queried if it was still hot, the waiter responded with annoyance saying that of course it was. We countered saying we had watched it sit on the side. He said, ‘yeah, for less than a minute’. On we ploughed. We said ‘well, we’ve looking at it for 5 minutes, on the counter over there’. His response? ‘No you haven’t’. I then asked him to not argue with me. His response? ‘I’m not arguing’. Oh the irony.
My friend asked for it to be taken back, and he grudgingly agreed. The same bit of meat returned 5 minutes later, and the only change was it was 5 minutes colder. She asked for another steak freshly cooked. My meal then arrived, which I ate alone. My friend’s meal arrived 15 minutes later, and it was finally hot and she ate it. However, she has texted me this morning that she started vomiting overnight. Presumably due to the meal, as she started feeling unwell once she was home and didn’t eat dinner.
Have I mentioned the surly waitress who ignored me, then rolled her eyes repeatedly when I asked for condiments?
Yeah, not a winning team. I suggest you don’t go there when there are loads of other options along the South Bank.
Volvimos a esta cadena porque fuimos en Bristol y nos gustó mucho. Pero este en concreto, nos desilusionó porque la atención desde el principio fue mala debido a que tardaron mucho en atendernos. Por otro lado, la comida era repetitiva y no añadían a la cinta platos nuevos.
El tipo con los pantalones cortos en blanco y negro y tapones para los oídos y cola de caballo nos gritó que saliéramos del mostrador del pub. Mientras que un tipo con el pelo largo que parecía solo interesado en trabajar en gafas gruñó y nos tiró la máquina de pago para pagar y no estaba interesado en entrar en conversación. Espantoso servicio al cliente que está llevando a la gente a los brazos de cucharas o Brewdog. Un pub con trabajadores deshumanizados.

Amazing lobster rolls, absolutely delicious and thank you to the host for squeezing us in! Great service, and would definitely visit next time I’m at the theatre.
