Volvimos a esta cadena porque fuimos en Bristol y nos gustó mucho. Pero este en concreto, nos desilusionó porque la atención desde el principio fue mala debido a que tardaron mucho en atendernos. Por otro lado, la comida era repetitiva y no añadían a la cinta platos nuevos.

Visité el restaurante sin ninguna expectativa, fui a un concierto en el Royal Festival Hall y nunca había estado en esa área antes. Salí temprano de mi hotel cuando esperaba que algún restaurante estuviera allí. Había tanta gente como era posible y vi un restaurante y todos los antojos. Fue llevado a un lugar por la cinta transportadora con varias piezas de tales y otros japoneses pasaron por una cinta transportadora que es común en los Estados Unidos. Tomé un poco y todavía pedí un plato de salmón con diferentes piezas hechas con salmón. Si el concierto no hubiera comenzado pronto, probablemente me hubiera quedado toda la noche tomando más y más platos y todos fueron igual de buenos. Muy recomendado por mi! !

Este lugar es asombroso. No pudimos evitar cada plato que revivimos, pero lo adoramos por completo. El personal es muy agradable y tranquilo con todos. That was the first thing the waiter said to me - not after I’d looked at the menu, but when I walked in, “what do you want?” “Dinner” I replied and he told me that I’d need to wait a minute (no the restaurant wasn’t full). I left. Don’t bother.

Siempre he sido un poco reacio a ir a un lugar de sushi después de encontrarnos con un poco de sushi cuando era más joven, pero la Sra. C es parcial y a mi hija y yerno les gusta así que fuimos, muy gratamente sorprendidos por la variación en el menú , Comí arroz frito, taco de inari y una hamburguesa de teriyaki con champiñones (ya ves, pensé que todo lo que tendrían serían cosas envueltas en algas marinas), toda mi comida era realmente buena, los otros tenían katsu de calabaza, edamame y otras cosas más de los cuales se pronunció bien.Dos pequeñas quejas, una de ellas es el cargo por servicio, algo que realmente detesto, y la segunda me encantaron algunas papas fritas, pero les han afeitado las hojuelas de bonito, la última vez que me veía bonito era un pez y ser un vegetal que las convierte en un no no (yo ya sabes, abrazar árboles, kaftan con un bicho raro vegetariano, puedo oírte gritar), ¿tal vez si preguntas si lo harán sin ellos?Pero en general disfruté de mi visita a Yo Sushi y definitivamente volveré a una

I should’ve just walked out the moment the waiter saw me trying to order and just gave a dirty look and continued walking. I had to wait over 15 mins before I finally got the bill when I asked another staff member for the bill. Meanwhile, I watched my first waiter quite literally ignore me and go on to serve other customers who’d just arrived. I work as a waiter so I’m usually the most sympathetic to customer service workers but this was just ridiculous. And no, the restaurant wasn’t busy nor understaffed.

Beautiful food but we had to remind the waiter/waitress about three times for fries and one of our party waited for ages for a dish which never appeared on the conveyor belt and then when ordered took a couple of times of reminding before it appeared. YO! Also have a policy of putting a service charge on the bill without asking and you will struggle to have it removed... we are not Londoners so are not used to this policy, not sure we would have tipped 10% as the service was not good.

I usually love Yo Sushi and have never had an issue with service (particularly considering it works on a conveyer belt system). However this was extremely disappointing. Me and my friend popped in for a quick bite, but ended up almost missing our show because the service was unbelievably slow - as well as incredibly rude. In the end we had to literally go and hunt down a server and beg them for the bill after being ignored (something I’ve never had to do). When we went up to pay a family was having issues of their own and wanted comped food. However, instead of helping us deal with our bill quickly, the waitress just stood and gawped at her colleague who was dealing with the other group’s issue. When we left we also realised she added an extra plate to our bill! I’ve worked in customer service jobs and honestly everything they did that night was wrong. I will never visit this branch again.

We stopped off at Yo Sushi for dinner and were sat in a booth that allowed us to see and feel the atmosphere of Southbank which was lovely. Our waitress Kayleigh was very welcoming and attentive and took the time to talk us through some of the dishes. The food was great and fresh and we really enjoyed some of the new dishes on the menu. My mum and I come to Yo a lot, and this branch is definitely the best we have visited so far. The decor is also modern and colourful. We shall be back!

We visited on a very hot day and were begrudgingly seated by a man who told us 'I'm busy, I'll be back in a minute' - we found the menus ourselves and then realised that we hadn't cooled down from the heat and realised that was because there was no air-conditioning in the restaurant.

I have been going to Yo for a long time, many across the UK and this was was without doubt the most disgusting one ever. Sushi was not cold at all, it was dry. They didn’t have all things needed at the table. They took ages to serve us and bring the glasses for water. They were very very rude. And toilets well dirty, water everywhere, only tow cubicles and clogged without toilet paper. AND THEY EVEN CHARGE YOU A SERVICE CHARGE! Outrageous. Never again.

Sushi is old, mediocre at best. Miso soup comes from a machine. Service was terrible and we tried to get any server’s attention for over 20 minutes to both order and pay. Don’t waste your time or momey eating here.

Been many times to YO! Sushi, but this is likely the last time. Had to wait 20 minutes for drinks and a soya sauce refill. Conveyor belt was almost empty. Pieces of sushi that we then ordered where cut so thin that there was almost nothing to grab onto. Wrong price of drinks on bill and personnel didn’t seem to care saying it was only 20p difference.

We had an early lunch on a weekday and found the selection of dishes much better than the main Waterloo restaurant. Freshly prepared and plenty of choice - in fact, much tastier than the same dishes in the numerous Yo Sushi restaurants we have eaten in. Service was slow and patchy, and the buzzers for service didn't work. No queue as we were eating around 12.30.

An exceptional spot to sit and watch London go by on a sunny spring afternoon. But sadly the service was poor, and the food only average. Prawn gyoza overcooked, and had to wait ages for the Nagiri platter. The venue really wasn't busy enough to justify the wait. Nevertheless I spent a glorious afternoon here - the location alone saves it.

It’s been a while since we went to a YO! Sushi restaurant, and our experience has always been positive in the past. The staff were very friendly. As I am gluten intolerant, I was given the allergy menu but didn’t realise I could have had gluten free soya sauce as this was not offered. There was very little that I could have in the end, and the few things that I could have didn’t come around on the conveyer belt. We were told afterwards we should have ordered instead- it would have been helpful to know this at the start! On the plus side, our 4 year old enjoyed the novelty of the experience and found some dishes he really enjoyed. An expensive meal to come out feeling hungry!

My first ever visit to a Yo Sushi restaurant and what a disappointment. Plenty of waiting staff, but they all seemed more interested in chatting to colleagues. As it was my first visit, which they were aware of, no one was on hand to explain the concept (they could learn a lot from the Nando’s chain). The food veered from tasty to mediocre but I came away feeling disappointed. If the staff in this particular location were vaguely interested, it would have been a whole lot better.

I was waiting for my husband for dinner after a long 12 hour shift. The atmosphere was amazing and it just made me come alive again. The Manager( I am assuming as he was dressed Smart casual) greeted me and took me to the waiting stools while he got me a cubicle. I must say the food was amazing, specially the Korean fried chicken and Katsu curry. But what made it a 10/10 experience was that everything was on point. Not just the food. The service, very very friendly with big smiles, the lights, the location. It was a service which lots of central London places lack.

We were really looking forward to vising YoSushi with my partner and son for my birthday lunch. Unfortunately, even though the food was nice, service was extremely poor. We walked in to a fairly busy restaurant, no one was really focused on greeting or seating us so I had to ask a waiter if we can get a table. We were sat down and menus were handed to us without any explanation as to how the ordering process work. I had to ask a waiter over after some time, and although he explained how everything works he didn't feel enthusiastic even a bit and wouldn't even offer any drinks hadn't I asked. Overall, I don't think we actually received any service in this restaurant, disappointed now that I didn't ask for the service charge back.

I walked into the restaurant. It was not very crowded but had a good amount of people there. I was greeted and placed at a bar in front of a conveyor belts and handed a very large menu. No one came over to show me what things were. I say the colored plates and color code on the menu so I was able to figure that out but when the guy brought me my drink I made the comment "I hope I can find things I like I have no idea what is coming across". He laughed and walked away. Nothing looked like the pictures and I was able to get a few things of sashimi and salmon sushi that I recognized. I waited over 30 minutes to try and figure the items out. with the scratched lids on them it was really hard to see what things were. The things I knew I wanted, I never saw and no one ever came up and asked me. I finally gave up. Paid the small bill and while I was walking out told the "host" that I was really disappointed and would have probably spent at last 3 times the bill had someone helped. He asked me if I wanted an item to try for free. I replied that's not what I wanted and you missed the point. I walked out. VERY poor service. I left went somewhere else and spent 65 pounds for another meal. Their loss. I will say, the good I did have was good.

My husband and I visited yo sushi on the Southbank as part of our date day to celebrate our anniversary. It was my husbands first experience of yo sushi and my second time and we very much enjoyed it. The food was delicious and there is so many options. Our server Nico reccomended the beef teriyaki and it did not disappoint it was delicious. Our only negative comment was that nico explained how yo sushi works, as they do to all customers, and explained about pressing the button to call a waiter but when I pressed the button noone came. I eventually called a waiter as they passed only to be told the call bells don't always work. I felt like saying what was the point in telling us about it then. Our other server was Nicole, she was very friendly. The rest of the service was good and we very much enjoyed our visit.

Poor service but good food, from the moment we walked in the waitress wasn’t interested in seating us and we had to ask to be seated which the waitress reluctantly did, when seated they never returned to take our order despite pressing the button numerous times. One waitress was stood on her phone voice noting in the middle of a busy restaurant! After paying the bill and leaving when we said goodbye the waiter completely ignored us, normally love yo sushi and was looking forward to it but this yo sushi wasn’t as great, luckily the food was nice.

Went in this afternoon in this lovely place. My best friend is living in London and as we are a very sushi lover we decided to stop at Yo Sushi in Southbank. A lovely Spanish guy was on the door and seated us very quick even if it was very busy. Service was very quick as well and food was acceptable. What impressed us more was Adrian with his shocking smile.

I’ve been to yo sushi a few times and finally thought I should leave a review for this one . It’s pretty much Japanese fusion tapas, which is great when you have two picky kids who decide they want something else half way through the meal. These plates fill you up fast if you’re smart about what you get. I got the breaded chicken curry and the spicy rice and was full (still managed to squeeze in a desert of course).

I went to Yo Sushi yesterday and for sure I won't be coming back, I had the worst sushi in my life. I ordered a glass of white wine and it tasted like vinegar. Such a lovely place to go with my family! My mother and I took my 3 children hear to try something different and there was something for all of us!! Inside was very clean. The manager couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome and make sure the kids were happy. Such friendly staff and excellent food cooked to perfection!! We can’t wait to come back!

Food was lovely, as usual, but the service was a little hit and miss. One female server we had was fab, however we were also a little disappointed. We came into the restaurant and were stood for 7ish minutes waiting for someone to seat us. Since no-one came, we assumed it must have meant we were to just sit at a table rather than be seated so we sat down at a free table, which was still to be cleared. It turns out it was just slow service as we were told off by a waiter who wanted to clean the table! We were fine to stand up and wait for it to be cleared, but he then told us we were wrong to have sat down. We told him we had waited but no one came so presumed we had to just find a table, and he said we'd have to go as there might be a waiting list. It was a little bit of a rude and abrupt introduction, but we sat down again and the female server we had afterwards was lovely. There was no waiting list. I understand that he needed to clear the table, but we thought the way he spoke to us was a little unjustified. The rest of our meal was great though.

Wanted to have something to eat after attending the amazing Finnish Sauna at the Queen Elizabeth Hall. Decided to go to Yo Sushi! and was served by a wonderful and charming guy called Mario. He made the evening a delight. Thank you Mario :^)

My mother and I went for a snack and ended up eating starters, main and dessert. We were served by Malio who made sure we were satisfied at any point in time. It was a lovely meal out, we enjoyed it so much!

I visited this restaurant with my girlfriend tonight. We got some really good food, although the service from our waiter was extraordinary. We were in good hands with waiter Malio. He was a fun, sweet and open minded guy, who really improved the experience altogether. Would definitely visit this restaurant again.

Chef picking up his nose and making sushi with half pants down...felt even ashamed to go and speak to the manager as it was busy, just left and went to Strada after eating only 4 nigiri.

Estábamos caminando por Southbank cuando comenzó a llover mucho, así que nos detuvimos aquí para tomar una copa.Sorprendentemente no estaba ocupado por dentro. El lugar podría hacer con una limpieza como las mesas estaban sucias. El personal parecía estar multitarea y confundirse con quién ordenó qué.Pedimos unas bebidas, una de ellas era un té y añadieron que el té era muy suave. Tuve que pedir un reemplazo y separar la leche para que pudiéramos servir la nuestra.

Went here for the copa America final. I was the only one with an Argentina top on along over 300+ Colombians. There was no mention that this was a Colombian event but I stayed and met some undercover Argentinians. People were friendly apart from this drunk stupid Brazilian but Argentina won so it ended up a great night.

Really small portions for the price. Cold chips. 3 tiny circles of bread came with the houmous plate, not enough to eat the houmous with. Really weak and expensive mock-tails Really disappointed. Great service though.
