Atmosphere it's in a library what do you think? A quiet place to browse a book before deciding whether to take it home. Food and service are great. It is a charity cafe run by Watford Mencap.

Zen was the lady that served us, the food was lovely. We ordered Salmon dragon roll, Tuna crunch, and chicken teriyaki panko. The salmon dragon was heavenly and the sweet potato was unexpectedly amazing and we finished it all off with banana fritters with ice cream. It’s a cute cozy place and we will definitely be back!
The food prepared by the students is amazing and the students that served us were very professionally and well presented. Very polite and friendly. The price for the 3 course meal is excellent it is £18 per person. Would recommend a vist. It is open for dinner on a Tuesday, Wednesday and a Thursday evening. Just need to call west herts college and book a table from 6.15pm till 6.45pm.
Just spent a weekend in watford. Went to Mangans Friday night, Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Top class. Clean. Right size. Great range of drinks. The owners and staff are sound and no one waits for drinks. Will definitely return. Our 42 strong group of all ages found it a perfect spot to visit and revisit over the weekend. Pool darts jukebox the lot. Great pints and craic.
Super cosy place and beautiful setup, cocktails are fresh, strong and yummy! Bolognaise was so fresh and is home made, big serving! Bruschetta was also incredible! So fresh and the bread was tasty and warm. Professional, friendly service and great atmosphere. Then they topped it off with a beautifully bright and sweet limoncello at the end! I Stepped out to try something new and definitely had a great time here! Keep it up guys :)
I had some time to kill so popped in for some breakfast and a coffee.
The service was superb - friendly and welcoming - and the food and coffee were great.
It was a delightful surprise and I highly recommend.
This hidden gem cafe is an absolute delight! Best food and drink I’ve eaten in Watford for years. Everything is freshly made, and the menu is varied between hot and cold, small bites to bigger meals. Best hot chocolate ever, actually tasted like chocolate. The staff are friendly, polite and efficient. Basically a wonderful place to eat if you like fresh quality good food, and the cakes are amazing too.
We had a very good experience here! It's hard to find good quality Indian food in London, this restaurant did a very good job. Lamb biryani, methi chicken, and qeema naan were all top notch.
