A brilliant place to dine, lovely ambience, food was amazing too.

Went for lunch on a Sunday and we were the only customers, so I was quite surprised. The food portions were brilliant with great flavour. Food was presented well and everything arrived promptly. The waiter was very helpful and lovely to talk to. Family enjoyed the food thoroughly. We will definitely visiting again.

Food was amazing, staff is great and very cheerful, I would 100% recommend this place for enjoying your meal .

It was a splendid experience. I have had authentic and flavourful food with good size portions. The atmosphere and the services was on point and I truly could not find any complaints. Please come here if you want to try some REAL Indian food.

Best Indian restaurant in Watford

2nd time visiting this restaurant. 10/10 for the food, honestly it’s one of the best places I have ever been to. Every dish (starters & main) was on point in terms of flavour. Can’t wait to visit again with friends and family.

Great experience with Namaste Watford. food was really good! I enjoyed everything, especially chicken wings and chilli chicken, loved it.

Terrible customer service and way too expensive for what it was. Bouncers are very rude and bald.

Superb starters Great tasting food

The food was very tasty, reasonably priced and came very quickly. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you like traditional Indian food.

I was 4 nights in Watford with work and fancied curry, and I read the reviews of Namaste so I thought I would give it a go. I was not disappointed. Its quite unprepossessing from the outside situated north of the town centre along St Albans road with a lot of other take-aways. I had the Karahi curry which has excellent, with a Peshawar naan. One of the best curry's I have had in a long time. The chutney's with the poppadum's were different, and not what I expected. But probably more authentic than what you get in most places. Highly recommended.

Namaste hosted us for a midweek meal with friends. Despite the large group staff were attentive and all courses were served piping hot. Had a sweet and spicy chilli mushroom starter, followed by a beautifully moist butter chicken with fresh naan. Dessert was gulab jamun but I was really quite full by then. Great Indian food with plenty of vegetarian options well priced.

We went as a big group and had pre ordered our food. It was all delicious, everyone got what they had ordered, the staff were helpful and friendly. Great place to celebrate our friend’s birthday!

Visited this place on a Friday night. Waited 20 minutes for menus to be brought over, waited another 20 minutes for drinks to come out and they didn’t bring the poppodoms we ordered. Eventually over an hour after arrival, starters arrived. The chicken Tikka tough and rubbery, cremated. The same with the chicken wings, very dry and not at all pleasant. No flavour on these either, just plain. The Paneer tikka was the only dish we didn’t mind eating but again lacked flavour. The chilli garlic mogo should be called Ketchup mogo. We left after starters, had to argue with them to remove the poppodoms that never arrived as well as not paying service charge. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Is this a club or restaurant? Because of Diwali party they have arranged the DJ but it was sooooo loud specially in tiny restaurant that we could not be able to eat and waiters / managers was not be able to even listen and asking me to repeat the same thing more than 5 time which is annoying. Of course of having DJ in Diwali party but in very small dining is irritating. When we have requested to lower the voice a little bit, instead of professional explanation, manager keep telling us that they have spent thousands of pound on DJ so they gonna use them and ask if we want to leave in the middle of the food. We have been on the table for half an hour but haven’t even serve the water. We did not get even the glass for waters. The food is not good as well. We have been to the restaurant where DJ is for everyday but there is the difference between club and restaurants /(Giant restaurant).

Totally amazing and genuine Indian food, fantastic customer service from waiters / waitresses and managers.

We ate very well and were warmly welcomed. The meal was delicious, and the friendly atmosphere made our experience even more enjoyable.

I ordered on the website over the weekend, with my chosen pick up time being an hour after placing the order. Despite arriving on time for collection, I ended up waiting an extra half an hour in the restaurant for my order, with someone who arrived 25 minutes after me receiving theirs before I did. What made this quite frustrating is that there was no explanation for the delay while I was waiting, and no apology for the wait when I did receive my order. The food itself was great, but I wouldn't rush back after the experience I had in the restaurant.

We were visiting the area for the Warner Brothers studio tour and ate dinner here. The food was all delicious. Service was great, the waiter was happy to make recommendations and adapt the food. We tried several dishes we hadn’t had before and loved them all. Would recommend!

Oct 2024 • Family Never been before and it was my wedding anniversary so me wife and kids thought we would try as never been and the reviews and food looked great - mistake Firstly walked in no table ready for us they looked confused not very organised e where sat by the front where all the outside orders are collected and those people didn’t look happy at wait times Then we where left for 15 mins before we then asked for a drink then 5 mins later a menu was put on table not ounce did we get a welcome or thanks for coming to be honest the manager other man and two girls all looked like headless chickens not knowing what the other was doing There seemed to be a lot of people waiting for food The couple beside us where getting annoyed and eventually got cold tikka but where to nice to send it back as they where hungry 20 mins in we got drinks just put on end of table beer was flat Never have I not been welcomed and offered popadoms straight away in any curry house And I come from Wembley and there’s loads of fantastic ones so sad So after twenty five mins I called another curry house 5 mins away and asked if they had a table yes sir I was told I paid left manager didn’t seem apologetic and just took the drink money all the time people looked hungry We left within 15 mins I was welcomed in to new place given drinks and popadoms and asked for our starters food was amazing atmosphere was 10 staff attentive Indian sizzler saved our night this will be our new place to eat I’m so sorry for this review but you have busy restaurant and don’t know how to run it’s sad as the place was busy but outside orders where queueing up Never again That’s a £230 bill you lost as customer service was terrible new girl will not last long Thanks not mr smith

Tastiest Indian food for the best price. Very balanced menu of vegetarian and meat dishes. Fairly small menu but they have mastered every dish 👩‍🍳😘

In town from San Diego for Harry Potter Studio and wanted Indian after we were done and Namaste was a quick Uber. The staff was super helpful to provide recommendations, everything they recommended was amazing, some of the best lamb and naan we have had!!! I highly recommend!!!

Both me and my boyfriend agreed it’s are new favourite Indian restaurant! Service was quick and they had a good explanation of the menu, portion sizes are great and the veg samosa starter was the best we’ve had in a while :) Chips also came on a bicycle, kinda cool :)

Me & my family - we are vegetarians and foodies. We used to search for authentic Indian taste. Tried many, so-called Indian restaurants in Watford and journey stopped here! The restaurant offers a range of dishes, each with authentic Indian flavors reminiscent of the best restaurants I visited in India. The menu is thoughtfully crafted with vegetarian options. My personal favorites are Masala Pappad, Crispy Bhajiya, Chili Mushroom in appetizer and Paneer Tikka Masala, Saag Paneer, Methi Corn, Tadka Dal in mains. Mains typically goes well with Garlic Naan. Jira Rice or Veg Biryani at the end... treat! My meat eating friend couldn't distinguish yesterday between chicken-tikka He likes and "Soya Chhaap" we ordered, yum! After more than two years of consistently great food and service, I can confidently recommend Namaste Watford to anyone looking for delicious vegetarian options and authentic Indian cuisine. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot for both casual meals and special occasions. Friendly and attentive staff makes experience perfect :)

Good indian food, enjoyed biryani, Malay Kofta and Veg Kuram and nice service, importantly it is very authentic. As starter they served veg corn soup for free which is my favourite back in India

A true Gem of Watford restaurants A vegetarian’s delight. Every single dish is authentic and every single dish is unique. None of the dishes have the same base sauce. Best dish ever discover is their veg kholapuri. Their staff are genuinely welcoming and really attentive.

The food really authentic, i really enjoyed the starters, more specifically the chilli chicken and the lamb chops which were just perfect. Highly recommend this place for a nice family meal.

There is nothing negative to say about this place! The service was on point, we had Freya taking care of us, but the whole staff was active, efficient, and helpful. The food was amazing! Our one regret is that we didn’t order the biryani but that just means we get to go back for it again. The puri were excellent, our onion and crispy bhaji were delicious, the garlic naan was awesome, the butter chicken was very good, and the yogurt side was such high quality and added to all of the other items we got. And all of this for a good price!! I would surely recommend to anyone and I will go back to Watford to eat there again!

We had such an amazing experience at Namaste Watford .. the staff the food the service was spot on . The food is like Mumbai . I am never gonna miss Mumbai now . The dahi puri was yummy the sev garnished was like you get in Mumbai . The pani puri was so yumm perfect blend of tastes of mint and coriander n all spices . The paneer curry and the malai kofta was rich and creamy even my son loved it . Starters were very good . Mogo chips was Spot on with Mumbai style Chinese taste . We met the owner Mr Rajput so down or earth . The lassi was like Mumbai tasted so yummy and creamy best thing it was not made from concentrated mango but real mango cubes . Keep up the good work don’t let the quality go down or taste ever . Good luck for future

We had a great experience here with the owner Mr Jaiswal taking very good care of us and having made jain food to cater to us and our requirements, we had extremely delicious daal tadka and kolhapuri veg which were well prepared and they made for us on short notice. This is a lovely place & lovely lovely food. We were a group of 10 having 4 jain so they made a lovely Jain food for us. Please visit this place if your visiting Harry Potter. Don't miss visiting other wise as well if near by this place.

Food delivered quick and hot. service was good, it got busy later on Overall a thoroughly enjoyable evening, the location of the venue was just a little further than I was expecting a mere 20 minutes from Watford junction station. We had a fantastic experience celebrating my mother’s birthday. The food was not only delicious but also served in very generous portions, which everyone appreciated. The staff were absolutely wonderful and welcoming, especially Bharghav. Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable occasion.

First time here and was very good ,the food was tastey and meat cooked on point we had the Lamb kaheri and the chicken tikka Masala both delicious. Service was outstanding and friendly

The food is always amazing and at a really good price. Great for vegetarians too. The service was really quick and the waiter was really friendly. Would highly recommend.

In short: we had a great meal. 2 adults, 1 child. We all like Indian food and were not disappointed. Probably more non-meat items on the menu than meat items. We had prawns, chilli garlic mogo and samosas to start, then chicken tikka massala and korai chicken, plus naan and rice. Really good value for money. This is maybe the 5th or 6th time we have eaten here, and will be doing so again! Very relaxed atmosphere - and most importantly the staff were lovely! See you again soon.
