Mint in Watford

The lamb madras was excellent the meat was very tender and a very generous portion too . The whole meal was very enjoyable .

1st time ordering was brilliant...Will defo be back x

Food as always was perfect but had a cheese nann was soggy and tasted like cardboard not usually the case had no flavour or even a hint of cheese to it. Shame because usually cannot fault the food.

Not sure how 1500+ people have rated this 4.5 out of 5 the only thing that was good was the naan bread. Rice tasted and looked like it come out of a microwave packet. Curry was pure coconut 👎🏻👎🏻

The food tastes different so maybe a new Chef is cooking the dishes now. Rajma Masala peas had no flavour just lots of green chilli added. Shame, this used to be my favourite

Food was a little late, however, the onion barjees were fantastic, the best ever. The rest of the food was good just not as warm as it could have been. so 4/5 not quite 5/5 - still well done all of you and Thank you.

Smooth and prompt delivery. It is a big deal for us, because delivery people usually have difficulty finding our new address but this delivery was easy and no hassle.😄. Food was also tasty although did not like my side salad placed in a plastic bag.

Very tasty food but stews were very very oily

The order was 2 hours late I appreciate that it was New Years Eve but 2 hours is disgusting. When the food arrived it was really disappointing in quality. Much too spicy which detracted from the flavours. The restaurant has declined to refund any money saying that the driver was stuck in traffic. You can drive to London in that time! Will definitely not use this restaurant again.

chicken tikka starter was a little dry and only 4 small bits of chicken for £4.49 is over priced. will not be ordering that again. onion bhajee's were covered grease you needed to wash your hands after serving up. all other meals had large amount of grease but once poured off were really tasty

I order from here quite often and I'm always happy with the quality and speed but tonight the food had virtually no taste and the sauce was similar to water, not sure what happened today (23/07/2023) but the food was just not the standard I am used to

Curry was lovely, prawn starter was amazing, but biryani was nearly tasteless, onion bhaji was well over cooked. Both breads were tough. Like they had been precooked then microwaved for too long. Still a decent meal just disappointing for £40

Absolutely the best curry and Indian dishes I've ever had. Better off collecting from the restaurant as its ready in 20 minutes. My aim is to try everything on the menu as I know it will be cooked properly and with the best flavour. Pukka.

This curry was the best curry I’ve ever had, my son tried it today for the first time and he agreed, best curry in Watford by a mile, and very helpful staff as I made to separate orders with them which might have got confused but everything was perfect hot, big portions and so tasty, I don’t normally post anything but these guys need some credit for great food. Mint has one of the most generous takeaways I’ve witnessed so far! Saeed is a man who cooks from his heart! I ordered the vegetable biryani, 3 parathas, Channa masala and dry vegetable curry (all large size) and I received enough to feed 6 people. He also added some signature mint sauce with the food which was quite unique… the picture I’ve put up in only 1/6th of the portion that was given…

I’m not sure if the management has changed or perhaps the chef. Chicken biryani was Mushy rice mixed with curry. Chicken fried rice was exactly the same taste as the biryani!! I’ve ordered from Mint many times before and it was never this bad !! Regret ordering here!

Over 2.5 hours from ordering to receiving food. Food not hot. Told it was being packed up, and still took an hour to arrive. Disappointed as we usually love the food.

Excellent food and plenty of it

Unfortunately this time mint let me down. The garlic chilli chicken was flavourless when it is normally unbelievable. The poppadoms arrived smashed to smithereens and the driver was parked outside for 15mintues before even knocking. Food was warm and unsatisfactory.

I ordered chicken chilly dry and got a gravy kind of chicken curry. The fried rice was ok but extremely disappointed with the chicken chilly order , I expected it to be dry as mentioned in the menu. The taste was also not good.

The vindaloo was poor, it tasted like a normal chicken curry just with a tablespoon of burnt chilli powder. I cannot however fault the service delivering quickly late at night

My daughter suffers from Celiac disease. We looked at the menu carefully and chose the meals without gluten in them. She never had a reaction so no cross contamination. Looks like we found ourselves a safe Indian takeaway.
