The food was brilliant and the atmosphere and the team is brilliant and definitely will be returning !

Went there for lunch buffet and was appalled by the restaurant in general. The food was bland and ordinary, not even a single dish was that good, and the options weren’t that great either. The vegetarian options were limited and tasteless. Our starter, paneer tikka, was dry and burnt. Everyone was disappointed. As well as that, they were charging highly for a buffet that wasn’t even that good.

The most rhetoric policies this restaurant is having . they are charging even a 4 year old babies who cannot even eat their food still they are charging them 15 £. The most absurd policies. I would never recommend anyone to go in their as they are unfair people.

Took my partner there for birthday celebration as we heard this place is a quite popular. The waiter service was pretty bad due to what it seems knowledge of the menu and language barrier. I’d recommend for them to be more aware of what the meals include and if they don’t know, to ask chef - no problem with that. I’d also recommend waitress to read back the order as due to language barrier they haven’t got our full order and one person was waiting a long time for the meal they missed while others finished. The most impressive thing was yesterdays front of house man who was working with bookings etc, he is the only person that keeps this place professional and certainly he needs a raise. Another recommendation for improvement would be to including at least one vegan meal in the menu as when i asked for vegan options, I got mixed information from different waiters- they all should know the same information. Due to our experience, we wouldn’t recommend going there in person, however my partner will keep ordering from it as take away as food is good for those who eat meat.

Not bad but ,felt a bit rushed and wanted to push drink down your throat to increase the bill to £80 for three people. Plus the selection of meat was poor alot of chicken dishes and no lamb dishes l

On 3rd April I had a friend visit me for the day as it was her birthday. I decided to take her for a nice lunch at the Sizzler in Watford as I had dined there before, albeit a long time ago, but I remembered the food was nice. Their website stated that they now opened from 1pm Wed - Sun (previously only opened for dinner)and there was also a large banner across the front of the restaurant stating this. At around 3pm I parked up at the nearby Longspring car park, paid for the parking and we made our way to the Sizzler. We were stopped at the door by someone cleaning the glass door saying that restaurant was closed and they opened at 5pm. His English wasn't very good and couldn't understand much else of what he said but it was crystal clear that the restaurant was closed and we were offered no apology. I was extremely disappointed and somewhat annoyed that I wasted time,money, disappointed my friend. The next day, I emailed this experience to the Sizzler and they have not even taken time to reply. Says it all.

Perhaps the best value buffet around especially taking mixed grill into consideration. A really nice venue too. They just need to improve their food taste slighlty as the main dishes and starters were too mild/ bland for our liking. Good selection of dessert too.

We had the buffet and 45 mins after entering they gave the bill and said we asked for the bill infact, we did not. It was an attempt to say you need to go. Very rude customer service. I asked on the phone if there was a charge for 4 year old, they said there was no charge, when we entered the restaurant I asked again showing my child if there was a charge, they said no charge. On the bill they gave an extra £15 charge for child, saying that the people I spoke had informed me wrong. I plainly refused to pay, they did remove the child charge but it was very poorly handled. As for the food, everything has to be ordered extra even poppadoms not included in the £25 buffett, apparently we have to pay extra. The vegetarian options were very limited, naan was chewy and panner was tough. I recommend avoiding this place.

Great service, very professional and timely. Food was very tasty and lots of choices for the buffet. The food wasn’t extremely spicy like in some buffets. I would definitely be visiting again.

Service and restuarant atmosphere were good. However, the food was nothing to write home about, the food was average, all the mixed grill meats tasted the same. Although, what I will say is you get what you pay for and you can't expect amazing food for £25.

Great service provided tonight, the restaurant went an extra mile yesterday when I mistakenly booked the wrong time due to not realising the timing change, and they rang checked the reason why I’m coming and amended my booking. So big shout out to the staff and managers and food was fantastic and fully stocked! Totally recommend.

Visited this restaurant after seeing lots of videos and advertisements regarding this restaurant. Would not go again. Service was a bit rubbish to be honest, someone came and took our drink order (only two lassi's and tap water for the table - as coke was £4.25). Anyways after two rounds of food, no signs of drinks yet, had to reorder them. Bare in mind, it wasn't exactly full, probably only 3 other tables were filled. Anyways on to the food, they advertise saying 30-50 dishes in the buffet. This is lies. There's about 20 available things to pick from including the rice/ bread/ starters. Only 6 curries. I say this as I'm directly comparing this restaurant to a lovely restaurant in West London called Nawaabs, proper Indian food, wider variety and same price. So the food, I found was mediocre. The plus point was that the lamb was soft and tasty. Chicken tasted pretty bland. The complimentary grill was nice, more on the plate than I expected. This helped make up for the food out in the buffet. However still not good enough for the price. Dessert was limited. To top it all, my nan got stuck in the loo. It had locked her in. She banged on the door and the guy knew exactly what the banging was and brought a knife as he knew that it was someone locked in the toilet. Why wasn't there a sign on the door, we advised them to put one up. Then the bill came, £16 service charge for 5 people. Why? Its a buffet, I served myself. We asked to remove this charge. We paid in cash, he was due to give us £17 change. The guy came over with £10 and said hang on I'll give you the £7. My mum being the nice person she is, just told the guy to keep the £7, but you could see this is why he did this half given change so that he could keep that. Very cheeky. Anyways overall underwhelming expensive experience. Will not be going back.

Food is excellent and service is excellent and staff are amazing 🤩 too good and we enjoyed the big group of 15 members for 🎈. Mc is very looked after us all. Love u

The taste was very bad and we couldn't feel the taste of real indian food. Additionally, we felt like the food was cooked for a very long time and they were using it by reheating it again and again. I personally recommend you don't go there if you want real indian taste.

The staff were all caring and have immaculate service. 10/10 would recommend.

I have mixed emotions about my visit here. Firstly, I would recommend booking a table on a weekend. Secondly, the staff are very attentive- there was always someone on hand to ask any queries to. At £20 per person, you can't complain, especially when you get a completely mixed grill to the table- this was the best part of the buffet. Drinks are not included in the buffet- I would not recommend the mocktails- I got the lychee one and it just tasted super sweet and artificial- not like a mocktail. Desserts are included in the buffet which is great. I quite liked the starters in the buffet but was far less enthused at the main courses- I was not a fan. I wouldn't recommend the additions of items like bhindi, butter chicken and boneless lamb curry.

I came to sizzlers for my iftaar...the staff they received our family very well as we entire into restaurant and It is a Monday night the food is so delicious, fruits 🍍🍎🍓🍇and dates where given to our table by the time we came, mixgrill and water is provided, we taken to prayer room when we ask them,,service is so professional and they help in explaining each items, the lady is very attractive looking after us, I need to do review because my kids and family felt very happy for iftaar evening. ❤

Ashok and sony offered a complementary starter which was a nice touch! I haven't really gone to an Indian buffet before but the atmosphere, vibe and people were lovely. I've removed a star purely because not all of the dishes felt fresh as you would if you ordered and I can understand that trying to keep it fresh can be difficult.

Booked a slot for 6pm for iftar all went through last minute got a message saying over booked my booking got cancelled called them up really unprofessional didn't care the girl on the phone defo will tell freinds and family not to bother with that place

Hi, I like this Indian restaurant, the food is good, the staff are friendly and one of the few Indians to have a buffet style were you help your self. Worth a visit. I enjoyed the take away side too. It's hard to find a downside, but maybe with drinks ect it is a little dearer than some..

Shame its only for one and a half hours. Two hours would be better as had to rush towards the end of time. Otherwise excellent all round.

Couldn’t fault sizzler one bit. Staff was lovely and we was brought round to our table as soon as we arrived. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, making sure we were okay and checking in during our meal. The food was beautiful and a fresh dish was brought out everytime it was running low.

Gotta be my favourite Indian restaurant in Watford, great tasting food sometimes can be a little expensive without the online discount code. We have had the odd one or two undercooked naan breads but the curry’s and side dishes are always spot on.

Literally the most disgusting restaurant I have been to, there was hardly any options for vegetarian. We came for Mother’s Day and my mum is vegetarian so she was highly dissatisfied. The customer service of the manger was absolutely terrible, we mentioned that we do not want to pay for my mothers meal as she hardly ate anything and the manger proceeds to call out my mum say ‘oh I saw her eat’ well duh she’s hungry of course she’s going to eat. She had the worst attitude.

Came here for the buffet with my family. Whilst the selection is quite small the quality of the food is really good. The curries are good and not too oily, but the butter chicken was too heavy on the tomato in my opinion. The samosas where amazing and gulab jamun for dessert was the best to end off the meal. The service was good and waiters would often come to ask us how our meal was. The seating did seem a little cramped and sitting at a booth is bad for a buffet. The people at the end would have to frequently get up just to let others get to their seats.

Food is very scrumptious and starters are buttery and flavor is very good, mains Currys are very texture and it's smell so nice, on the top first class service by all the staff and the young lady very looked after us,she is very funny and looking after everything very well.

Manisha was very kind, friendly, polite and helpful. Her service was amazing. We will definitely come back and I recommend it hundred percent.

Edit: No doubt the food and ambience is good(5* for that) Just 2 star is because of the way of handling booking which was out biggest mood killer. Gentlemen at the front desk really need a training. We called well in advance to reserve the table, he mentioned you can walk In directly. After reaching there we were told about waiting time of 1 Hr 15 mins, Asked us to wait outside even we had our 4 year old. (In cold winter) Very unprofessional talk, lot of unnecessary dialogues.

It was my birthday, I heard about sizzler on tictok and friends, so I thought I'd give it a try . Decor and seating were brilliant but could do with a bit more variety of food.

If you like Indian cuisine, this is one of the best restaurants you will ever go to. Service and food 10/10! And the atmosphere adds to it because it’s warm and inviting. Will definitely be going back soon X

On arrival our table wasn’t even set properly and had tissue from the previous sitting which wasn’t great to see. The lady who served our table was extremely quick to go through the options. We didn’t even get a second to sit down and settle down properly, it felt super rushed. The buffet was heavily meat based which isn’t ideal if you’re veggie. The curries were super sugary and I wouldn’t say they’re authentic Indian food! All the veggie dishes were more sides/starter type items as opposed to whole curries which was disappointing to see as a vegetarian. They could improve veggie selection and include some more well known dishes. The dessert selection wasn’t great and found the station wasn’t Continually manned so had to wait. I had a gulab jamun which was served in halves, it made no sense? The drinks are overpriced! I would not recommend and would not visit again.

Starters were some what good but the main courses were awful, all curries were sweet and their consistency was like tomato smoothies . A rice dish which they call it Akhni was totally unexpected, never had such depressing flavour, milky coconutty and sweet simply unauthentic food, they say in their website it's Indian and Pakistani cuisine but it wasn't at all Pakistani, nowhere close to it, all Indian that too unauthentic, when we left the place our jackets/coats smelled of Indian spices which was ridiculous and we carried that smell to our home. Nonetheless The staff were very friendly and accommodating. But unfortunately because of disappointing food will never go back again and can't even recommend to anyone.

I dined at this restaurant in Watford, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere and the ambiance was perfect for a nice evening out. The menu offered a variety of options, from classic comfort food. The service was top-notch, with our server being attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Our food arrived in a timely manner. Must try Lamb chops and palak Lamb🤤🤤. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience. The food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional, and I can't wait to come back and try more dishes.

One of the worst experiences we had as a family! We booked the table for 6 on New Year’s Eve! We cancelled Royal Nawab thinking we would probably get better experience and May be food! We were wrong! We went on time to enjoy the food! We ordered Mocktails quite expensive for the quality and didn’t taste very good! We were asking the lady manager about the ala cadre menu so she went to get it and didn’t come back for 5 minutes and in the meantime another waiter got mixed grill on the table which looked like cold! We said can you call the lady manager she came and said yes, we said we thought you went to bring the ala carte menu! She said oh I forgot and there is nothing wrong with this mixed grill and touched with bare hands! I sadi if you can get another one we will take it but we won’t be able to eat this! She took away and never brought the grill! As we had 2 children and we not want to create a scene because this was a worst choice to choose New Year’s Eve! We got plates are little bit of starters and walked away literally in 35 minutes! Definitely wasted over £140 bill. Owner should definitely take some action on that young lady who was working on the day because people like her ruin peoples evenings and creat bad experience which we will never forget!! I will definitely avoid that place! Food wise - it’s an average food place! I would advise people to choose a different place if you want quality time and want enjoy food!

What a fantastic Indian restaurant. The service led by Manisha definitely was a deciding factor to return here as her style makes you feel at home and The atmosphere is relaxing. The food and price are 3xcellent value. Now a local for me.

It's Bangladeshi Prawns you can say they bought from Iceland or asda or any other supermarket and fried and served, No varieties Second time trying to get fish, but there's is a vegetable pakora and fried fish with lots of oil from the corners There were no lamb items in the starter, we requested then, and they served, including price Lamb chops are not cooked properly In the toilet, there was a leakage and no sign

Thank you to the chef for following all my menu amendments. Hot, fresh food, containers packed to the lid, and delivery within allotted time.Previously, there have been a few disappointing deliveries but I could not fault anything this time.

I had attend this restaurant with family based on what I saw on social media. I had already received many negative feedback from this place but I thought why not just go give it a go. I had went for the buffet. The place is not as authentic as it made to look. Out of all the dishes only under 5 dishes were decent enough. The dishes are quite spicy too. There is not much flavour to the dishes. Starters and pretty decent, and the complimentary dish was very nice, again very small portion. The buffet is not how it is being promoted. Even with the dessert they are giving half a gulab jamun? Which you have to keep getting up to get more after one bite! When it came to the bill they do not make you aware that there’s a service charge but take the money, and then later give you a receipt for you to only realise that you’ve been charged even extra for something you weren’t even happy about in the first place! You are best off paying a little extra and going to Royal Nowab! As they won’t disappoint

We had a lovely dinner at Sizzler! We were sat at our table promptly and opted for the buffet! Amazing choice and fresh, tasty food! What made our night were the staff! Friendly, efficient and made us feel very welcome! Excellent value for money and worth every penny! We will be back 😋

Food was really good and service was spot on. You can tell they look after their customers and produce good quality food. It would help to state what dishes are spicy on the buffet. Would also be good to know which dishes have cream in for people who need to avoid it. Overall was really good though. We will be back.

I went for dinner buffet but found it very average. There was limited variety and the food was very oily.

I had buffet for two of us and being vegetarian they didn’t had much options but still they managed to serve me paneer grilled. The buffet was not that delicious as i was expecting nor my partner liked it. We came all the way from London to try the buffet which i felt was overpriced and as we had buffet which had self service and just ordered sparkling water for drinks, also asked if i can take the bottle with me he agreed to it! We didn’t feel like paying the service charge, the waiter said he can’t take the service charge as his boss is not here and i asked it’s not mentioned anywhere the service charge is mandatory he said that drink was served on the table and so he is charging me for the service charge. Which showed how professional he was at forcing customers to pay service charge. Honestly 1/5 is what I experienced here.

Piping hot, fast delivery, absolutely perfect food, 10/10 as it is every time

The Food is Ok, is not fresh, only test of Curry the prawns and fish with breadcrumbs is from frozen. There is No test of fish finger and fish curry. Most choice are vegetarian or chicken The test of all children curry is acceptable, but the meat curry is Not from lamb, I think is mutton. Also they put chilli and sweets in grill and some curry. The grill is not well cooked especially the chops because it’s too harsh, Not soft, Also the drink is very expensive. Any soft drinks £4.50. We were a couple and two kids paid £72.50.
