Indian Sizzler in Watford

Not much meat and a lot of sauce to bad it out. Also think it’s a damm cheek to charge for a bag

My family have been patrons of Indian Sizzler since moving to North Watford in 2009. Food always hot, fresh and delivered on time. Ktchen always read my notes when I request changes to the order. Tonight’s meal, especially the lamb was delicious!

Sizzler is 10/10 honestly my first time coming here with family for my granddads birthday, and we’ll defo be back for my birthday next month. Mc was lovely lady, made amazing cocktails. And the chef made amazing food!!

One of the worst Indian foods I have ever had. Ordered butter chicken and received coconut mix based sweet chicken curry which we couldn't even eat. Have you heard of butter chicken with coconut base? You can find it here. I don't think they know what butter chicken tastes like. Very disappointing.

I went last year and this place was amazing when they had their full buffet on the food was 10/10 then but I went recently with my family on a Sunday buffet day and the food was shocking I wasted time travelling 4 hours to get their and I wasn’t impressed by the service neither the food, only decent thing was the sizzler we got as complimentary. This was one of my favourite places to go and i convinced my family of 12 to come and no one enjoyed it wouldn’t be returning again.

Ashok was our sever and he was very attentive and funny. The food was amazing and the service was great, we would find ourself ordering one minute and eating the next. The place is very pretty as well.

We ordered food. Butter chicken, garlic naan, meat Samosa, garlic sizzler. Guys i ate butter chicken before, but it feels like you guys switched the salt with sugar. Its so sweet I can’t even eat it. The garlic naan is sweet too, I don’t know how you do it. Garlic sizzler is below the normal level also. I can feel you guys put a lot of work in it, and the quality also of the meat and the other vegetables also. But why is it so sweet??

Fantastic food and service. 1 point of contention is that they didn't serve draught cobra as per the menu. I was served from a can. No problems with swapping for a bottle of cobra. Again fantastic food and service

⭐☆☆☆☆ Oh, how the mighty have fallen! This place used to be a gem, but now it’s more like a lump of coal someone forgot to throw out. The buffet options have shrunk faster than my will to live after tasting their "food" (if you can call it that). Veggies beware: the buffet has nothing for you except regret and disappointment. Everything tasted like it was soaked in vinegar and food coloring—appetizing, right? Oh, and the food was colder than my enthusiasm to ever come back here again. Drinks? Overpriced enough to make your wallet cry. The starters were a tragedy, and they just slapped the same masala onto the mains like they hoped we wouldn’t notice. Newsflash: we noticed. To top it off, dessert was... cheap chocolates. Yes, chocolates so cheap, you'd expect them in the "freebie bin" at a gas station, not at a restaurant. Honestly, I wouldn’t even pay £5 for this buffet now. And judging by the dingy atmosphere, I’m tempted to report them to food health and safety. This place needs a serious wake-up call. Save yourself the pain and go anywhere else—maybe even McDonald's.

Our waiter Ashok was very attentive and made sure we were looked after all night. Delicious food too! Unfortunately, there was a group two tables down who were watching shows at n their phones throughout the evening, which distracted the overall atmosphere. But apart from that, a pleasant evening.

We went to this Restaurant for a Sunday buffet lunch with friends. The ambience and service were ok but the food was not great. We were offered complementary sizzler which was good as a part of buffet but everything else mostly in the buffet was very sweet. The dessert was not good, it’s ok to try once.

Such a shame this was our favourite curry house but it's gone down hill so much. Nanan bread burnt couldn't even eat any of it . Chicken tikkia just not like it use to be .gutted. looks like we got to find a new curry house

Ask me about kindness and I’ll tell you about Ashok. He served me with clarity, gentleness and humour. I couldn’t recommend him more highly!
