I would never go elsewhere! This is a family business and they never let down! The 2 fab sons have both worked there with fantastic Mummy in the kitchen and now they have Joanne who is also helpful. The food is always hot, tasty and quick - excellent food and service. A well deserved 5 stars. Angie

Something not quite right here. The main course, sizzling mixed meats (i chose chilli black bean sauce with it) was tasteless. No chillies, only two thin slices of green pepper. Portion small but adequate for me after my oysters starter. A bowl of rice is £5-£6, too expensive. Wine at £7 a glass is also too expensive and i cant drink a whole £28/£35 bottle alone. No music, so poor atmosphere, listening to four men on an adjacent table for two hours. I don't like the compulsory 10% tip added to the bill which was £60 for one person. Expensive.

We will never be eating here ever again. Don't get me wrong the food is lovely. However last night we ordered out dinner. My misses takes her first bite and the chicken had a staple in it!!. Rung the restaurant didn't get a apology or offered a refund. We asked to speak to the manager and was told he wasn't there today but they will get him to call me. It is now the next morning and still no call. The staple peirced my misses tounge and cut her. Totally unacceptable they should of offered some sort of compensation or even a apology. Have been eating from here for years but never again now!!! Lost life long customers over their rudeness and incompetence to customer satisfaction.

A very nice oldie-worldie pub with a small but leafy beer garden has had a long reputation for being a great venue. A good pick for a Sunday lunch but a tad on the pricey side (£100) for what is essentially a pub meal for 2. However the food is made with a bit of love and ingenuity, so you don't feel quite so shocked when you see the bill..
