Dan, Laura and all the staff are so lovely. Batch fifty two really has become an integral part of the community in Baldock. As a family we all love going there for eating in and take away drinks and snacks. All the food is delicious and made fresh on site. You should visit whenever you are in Baldock

Just stopped for a quick coffee. Excellent coffee and fabulous cakes. We had the almond croissant cookie and the carrot cake, both of which were excellent. Highly recommended!

First time in the restaurant and wont be the last, food, service and atmosphere absolutely amazing

Had an absolutely wonderful Sunday lunch today! Delicious and fantastic portion sizes, just the right amount. For mains we had roast beef, lamb and cauliflower. And desserts we had rhubarb posset, affogato, sticky pudding and sticky sundae. The service and staff were excellent and attentive. It's very cosy and personal too. Highly recommend going to Eight!

Proper tasty Asian food. Highly recommended. We had chicken tikka byriani and lamb madras. All tasted really good.

Absolutely perfect service as always. The food is always delicious, my absolute favourite restaurant in Baldock. Highly recommended. Such friendly staff. This has been my favourite for over 26 years now and long may it continue.

Great place for a coffee lovely people

First visit and stumbled against it looking for a decent restaurant and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The whole experience was lovely and the food gave us a taste of Greece we have missed due to Covid.

Just had our first takeaway pizzas, delivered on time, very hot, tasted delicious . Rolo cheesecake scrumptious. Will definitely order again.

I’ve been meaning to try Chilli lounge for awhile. We booked the Wednesday special. Service very good, choices on menu excellent. Starter delicious, main course spot on.Washed down with a couple of ice cold Cobra’s. We will happily visit again.

My family and I have tried out nearly all of the indian restaurants in Stevenage, Baldock, Hitchin & Letchworth and regard the Lancer as one of the best in the area. As a result, we have become regulars here even though we live in Stevenage. The poppadom chutney tray is good, there are a range of mild to spicy curries for all tastes, the service is great, the lamb is tender, the portions are good, cobra on draught, on Sundays and Wednesdays they have great deals on. I would highly recommend the lancer.

Lovely Italian food and great service. Nice selection of drinks. Listed building and hence cold.
