The best restaurants serving Default food in Downham Old Town King's Lynn and West Norfolk East of England

Just had a delicious lunch in the cafe. The special today was steak (or chicken + mushroom) pie, new pots + veg. I had the steak pie, and they couldn't have stuffed another gram of steak into it. The pastry melted in the mouth and the steak was so tender. As said, absolutely delicious 😋

Contrary to come recent poor attempts to besmugde this restaurant and its hard working staff and owners reputations, this is Downhams/ the whole areas premium restaurant, everything is cooked fresh and uses high quality local produce, the staff are always friendly, attentative, approachable and knowledgeable. The main menu is great but the Sunday roast goes to a whole new level, with fantastic locally sourced meats, fresh local veg, crisp and fluffy roast potatoes and the star of the show, their superb yorkshires, please don't believe the haters, haters will hate, this is a fantastic establishment and everytime I've eaten here it's been nothing short of 5 star.

Food was 20 minutes late, barely warm and order was incorrect

Great little cafe offering snacks, sandwiches, sausage rolls, coffee, tea, chocolate and cold drinks. Nice seating area with toilet on platform one.

Best fish and chip in town always go there on a Friday and polite staff and always happy to help. I would highly recommend x

2 items missing and wrap was completely wrong

Very nice venue good service and good food we will definitely visit when in the area again.

Ordering simple and reasonably priced, food was ready when collected. However, food is pretty bland in flavour. Curry was disappointing and bbq ribs were just weird, no flavour at all!! Chow mein was OK but we've had better. Disappointing. 3* given but being generous.

Not my favourite. Does what it says. You will smell like a burger van when you leave.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Rose and Crown 👍 We went along for a music event and chose to also eat there. Good honest pub. No frills. No airs and graces. Friendly staff Good menu Fair prices We had the chicken and veg pie with mash and the scampi and chips. Proper food! Very tasty. Followed it up by two ice-cream sundaes 👍

Food is cold most times, customer service is okay, but manager didn’t seem to care about customers needs. Don’t usually leave bad reviews but this is needed.

Called in for dinner for 3 of us. The salt n pepper chips were in a tin tray and just had the seasoning dumped in. The rest was ridulous! Chow mean was a full tub. But only a third of the other tubs were filled and a small tub of s&s sauce that wasn't quite half full. Nobody had enough food. Half portion of rice and not even a third of a tub of shredded beef! Totally conned out of money. Never ever ever....even the awful chinese takeout give whole portions. Would even have accepted half portions....but not even half portions. Basically empty tubs! We had to elsewhere after eating to get actual good. Tasted fine......just hardly anything there! Waste of time and definitely a waste of money!!!!!
