Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Rose and Crown 👍 We went along for a music event and chose to also eat there. Good honest pub. No frills. No airs and graces. Friendly staff Good menu Fair prices We had the chicken and veg pie with mash and the scampi and chips. Proper food! Very tasty. Followed it up by two ice-cream sundaes 👍

First time here for Sunday Lunch. Certainly not the last. Friendly welcome. Sunday roast was excellent . We had the small plate roast so we could leave room for the desert. So glad we did Husband said best bread and butter pudding with custard that he has ever tasted. My apple crumble was also delicious. This is a traditional village pub well worth a visit and added bonus it is a Dog Friendly. See you again soon

Local pub - tried the Sunday Roast for £9.95 and absolutely fantastic. All home made freshly cooked and lovely tender meat. Just like eating Sunday lunch at home! Well worth trying in the summer for the boaters!

This is one of several old coaching inns, large timbered Inns with arched openings, the Hotel/Bar/Restaurant is reached through the arch, outside seating along the side for warmer weather, a cosy bar inside with logs burning, and a good range of local and regional ales plus other standard beers and lagers. Was offered a taste of a dark beer to ensure I'd like the pint, theres not much of a choice for pubs centrally but we stayed for several hours with a fireside table and enjoyed starters and mains which we ate in the bar, very good value for money, great choice and the young chef did a very good job on each dish. All in all a very nice cheery place to visit. Its establishments like this that serve both locals and visitors well, hopefully the proposal of a new Wetherspoon's will vanish as this will seriously affect the real life local traders, who in this case know their stuff and provide excellent service. Its a hotel so rooms are available.

Had a drink in this pub one evening and a young man ,Adam, on his own was serving. Its a quiet village but Adam was friendly even though he is still learning the trade. He admits to be a novice but tries his best. Went back for quiz night on Saturday with Adam as quiz master and must say he did a great job. He was funny and entertaining and a natural facing us all. We enjoyed ourselves as did everyone else. Adam is learning but has the making of a great publican with his personality

An old coaching inn with atmosphere to match. No music or TV screen, just a place to drink your pint in comfort, especially in winter with the roaring log fire. Keeps a variety of guest beers too. Good friendly service. Also provides good clean overnight accommodation.

This was incredibly good value for a budget hotel booking of two rooms two people at £30 each per night. Rooms were clean, comfortable and adequately furnished. But warm, it was not. On the night we stayed in early March, Hunstanton was as cold as the north of Scotland and there was no heating! I didn't feel like rousing the staff in the middle of the night so we stuck with it. The heating should have been on and we should have been told how to use it. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast cost extra (£13 each) but in these straightened times reasonably priced, and set us up for the day. I could have done with some soap or handwash in my room, but the courtesy tray was decently stocked and the free bottle of spring water a plus. Overall, there was room for some improvement, but generally I would rate Wash and Tope 'Very Good' and would certainly stay there again. It is also very well situated for everything in Sunny Hunny, parking was no problem and the bar was pleasant, although I didn't appreciate it closing at 9.30 on a Sunday evening!

Drove quite a long way to visit the place on a nice busy Saturday. Arrived to it being closed despite saying open on Google. Disappointed.

It was a truly lovely place to finish up a days work, friendly staff and food that was done with pride. I had 8 meals here and not a single thing needed changing. My had a little too much art for my liking but really comfortable.

Our accommodation was elsewhere and food not good so went here. This review is purely on food and bar services, we came here for meals, breakfast and evening meal. There were some builder in the indoor spaces doing some work but they were not disturbing us. Breakfast lady a little unsure of what her job is, i wanted to swap egg and bacon off 1 breakfast for extra slice of toast and a Rosti, NOPE NO SWAPS she was happy to leave them off my plate but then wanted to charge extras for toast and rosti, so I said forget it, just do 3 normal breakfast but put egg and bacon on a separate plate off one of breakfasts. Then next morning builders were again present around the indoor area and had to turn electric off briefly, before we arrived, then as we walked through door, same lady from yesterday morning was flapping and saying tills have gone down, she can't turn them on as she'll get into trouble, she kept repeating this to the builder blokes, who were telling her to just turn the switch back on and they would boot up, needless to say one of builders flicked the switch and tills rebooted up. Then she was waffling on about not my computer, I'm not allowed to switch them on. Honestly she was hard work. In the evenings Alan and Sarah were very attentive and a delight when we came for our evening meal for 3 nights. Food delicious and definitely worth shouting about. Bar prices reasonable too. Thank you
