Visiting during covid was a pleasant experience, lots of space between tables, food was excellent and good value for money

All 4 dishes were really tasty. Veg biryani with madras sauce, chicken tikka masala, lamb madras and Chef’s special curry. One of the best biryani’s I’ve had in a long while. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Looking forward to returning

More of an upgraded kiosk than a cafe but a good use of the limited space available. Only half a dozen tables or so inside and it looked quite cramped. I had little choice than to sit at one of the plastic foldaway chairs outside. Even so, my cappuccino was served in a paper cup with a plastic lid. I had obviously dropped in at a busy time, which probably explains why my order was received with abrupt efficiency rather than an invitation to choose something to go with it. As for the coffee, it was difficult to get past the taste of cardboard. Good job I had some mints in my pocket. So far as I could see, this is the only place in town where you can get a coffee during the day. Perhaps the lack of competition is a factor.

The cod and chips were delicious. Sadly customer service training is required. On Saturday I'd gone on line to book a pick up for 5:45 and as per the instructions I arrived on time. It wasn't obvious what to do or where to stand. I tried to ask a tall, slim, young dark haired man in a baseball cap working there who gave no eye contact and ignored me and all others who entered, when he could clearly hear people asking about the pick up service. I ended up asking a fellow customer who advised they too were waiting for a pick up and rolled his eyes at the tall, slim man who has mastered ignoring customers. I patiently waited..... and waited, the helpful customer being served and left. Walk in customers being served and leaving. Then another pre book customer, but for a 6pm pick up, was offered to be served and she kindly pointed out to staff I was there when she arrived. My name was finally taken though I'd waited 15mins already. Yet the 6pm pick up lady received their order before me and so did another gentleman who came in after me. A young girl finally gave me order and had the grace to apologise, giving me eye contact and a smile, though she seemed to be on the walk in service. It took me 20 mins to receive my pick up, pre ordered fish and chips. The process for pick up needs to be reviewed and the staff need to be taught how to engage with customers, keep them updated of the process and any delays. The walk in service seems to be the quickest way to get served.

Esto es una comida para llevar no un restaurante. Hemos estado probando aquí durante los últimos 40 años y solo fuimos cuando no había nada más disponible, así que mi amigo dijo que lo intente de nuevo, está bajo nueva gestión, así que pedimos para entrega a domicilio (£ 2 para la entrega a Maulden no está mal) la comida era tan buena que he estado ansiando desde entonces, estoy tan ansioso por el primer domingo del mes para que pueda probar de nuevo (solo tenemos comida para llevar una vez al mes) Realmente espero que este estándar sigue 😁

We have had many take aways from here and recently visited in a group of 7 to dine in. The whole evening was absolutely perfect! The food was amazing, particularly the lamb which almost melted in the mouth and was plentiful. The service was also second to none. The staff are extremely friendly and efficient without being over intrusive. I can’t recommend highly enough!

La comida ha sido excelente en el pasado, pero esta vez fue horrible. El pato crujiente era graso e insípido y la salsa era horrible. El pepino y las cebollas de primavera estaban húmedos y viscosos. El pollo y los anacardos estaban bien. El cargo de entrega era escandalosamente caro. La gracia salvadora fue que se entregó a tiempo. No se apresurará a regresar.

Tuvimos una comida para llevar y tengo que decir que fue fantástico! Creo que falta mejor señalización, ya que es un poco difícil de encontrar si no sabía dónde estaba. Sigue adelante.

Thought I’d give an up to date review as the previous years paint a poor picture. Have always had a lovely meal from wok and go. Food is always hot on arrival and my order is never wrong. Phone service is very polite and efficient and thd drivers are also very polite and prompt. Five star review from our house for the last few years. Keep up the great service. Thanks 👍

Haven’t ordered a takeaway for a while, fantastic food, hot delivered on time and great value for money, will now use regularly, also easy to order and always polite
