More of an upgraded kiosk than a cafe but a good use of the limited space available. Only half a dozen tables or so inside and it looked quite cramped. I had little choice than to sit at one of the plastic foldaway chairs outside. Even so, my cappuccino was served in a paper cup with a plastic lid. I had obviously dropped in at a busy time, which probably explains why my order was received with abrupt efficiency rather than an invitation to choose something to go with it. As for the coffee, it was difficult to get past the taste of cardboard. Good job I had some mints in my pocket. So far as I could see, this is the only place in town where you can get a coffee during the day. Perhaps the lack of competition is a factor.

Friendly efficient service. Great food and excellent value for money. We had Pizza, garlic bread and chicken goujons. Our bill came to about £20. Fingers crossed the new pizza menus will do very well. We will certainly use them again. Well done.

Quite possibly theeeee most delicious brownie I have ever eaten!! The lady who made it (the owner's Mum), said she has to time them to within 30 seconds to get them perfect. Well she certainly succeeded today!! Always a lovely warm and friendly atmosphere here. Love it!! Thank you, from the Co-op lady.x

We had a big wedding at south farm locally, We had guests from up and down the country and abroad, we pointed them towards the coach house inn… I didn’t know what the place was like but it was one of the few local places, I couldn’t believe every single guest who stayed was raving about how good the place was and how accommodating they were, I think the lady at reception even ironed my uncles shirt for him.. They also said the dinner and breakfast was brilliant and the whole place was reasonably priced.. The only complaint they had was that there wasn’t anywhere to hang their shirts, hooks etc.. a very small note on great experiences. Obviously this put the cherry on the cake as we had a great wedding and knowing that the guests had a brilliant experience was really special, so I’d like to give a big thanks to all the staff at the coach inn.. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

A very welcoming experience thanks to the excellent heritage centre guides who knew their stuff and pointed us in the right direction. The Centre is a must visit not just for aged train spotters but for every one. The line has a new future with East West Rail which needs all our support to get locals back on trains. Great coffee and cake made the day.
