The best restaurants serving Default food in Castle Northampton East Midlands

Popped in early afternoon for a pint during a brief stop off in the area. Absolutely nothing special, only a couple of other customers. £6.05 for a very average pint of Guinness, would expect to pay that for a pint of craft beer. Where did the 5p come from?

From the outside you may walk past, but if you need a lush kebab or Donna this is deffo the place to go, absolutely rammed with meat and salad etc . Top

Lovely, fresh food. There aren't many recent reviews so I was a little apprehensive but I need not to have been, everything I ordered was lovely. I ordered on the website for collection and it was ready and waiting when I went in 20 minutes later. So pleased to have finally found a good Chinese in Northampton.

I have tried the Loaded Meaty Salad here. What can I say, it is a great balanced meal and really tasty. I can ask them to add different sauces on the top, like Hello Sauce, Mayo, or ketchup. Make sure to give it a try if you are into salads.

Placed an order, arrived 2 hours after the estimated 40 min delivery time, no apologie, and no refund offered. Awful customer service.

Save yourself a visit! We went there for a quick lunch.. they had no chicken! No fried chicken! No grilled chicken or rice either! No chicken burger in stock too. Food was ridiculous! There was no meat in the wings and no cutlery. Tables were dirty, and even though we asked for it to be cleaned, no one came to clean. The service is awful. There were 2 men visible behind the tills, and both were taking their sweet time taking orders and working. They kept getting our order wrong. The atmosphere in the restaurant was a filth.

First time calling. Spoke to a lady and stated home delivery please. She responded very rudely and abrupt I was shocked!!! She stated We only deliver in NN2 we have no driver!!! . Ok where is your customer service skills ?She should have responded a bit more politely . First time calling and straight away wrong impression. Won’t be ordering from here again. Good luck with business if that’s how you greet customers. Bad day or not sometime we have to keep it together.

First time using this place,and I can honestly say the food was spot on,nice and hot,good portions and tasty aswell,will definitely be using in the future

Visiting Northampton for work and stumbled upon this place. £2.50 a pint. Atmosphere on a Weds night. Music playing. Seem to have a few locals who like a drink but it just adds to the atmosphere. Friendly punters and staff. OK I probably wouldn’t take the Mrs here but for me it’s a winner. 👍
