Dixterz Peri Peri Original in Northampton

Save yourself a visit! We went there for a quick lunch.. they had no chicken! No fried chicken! No grilled chicken or rice either! No chicken burger in stock too. Food was ridiculous! There was no meat in the wings and no cutlery. Tables were dirty, and even though we asked for it to be cleaned, no one came to clean. The service is awful. There were 2 men visible behind the tills, and both were taking their sweet time taking orders and working. They kept getting our order wrong. The atmosphere in the restaurant was a filth.

took almost an hour to get to us and then gave us the wrong meal we ordered tried calling them about 5 times and they didn’t even answer the phone what’s the point in having a number and u won’t answer

The food was nice enough but I found the staff to be rather 'distant' when they serve you. The cash register staff member mumbled something to me and I had to ask what they said again. It took 15 mins to get food from order. I sat down at a table that had left over food on it and on the floor too. The bin was open at the top so was just an open bag without a lid in a bin tub. There isn't much seating either. I also don't think it's legal to copy other brand copyrighted names for burgers. KFC owns the 'zinger' name.

Very poor food and would not recommend

The most disappointing service. Previous orders have always been very late and cold food but today was horrendous, didnt even process our order, no notification, they didnt even answer their phone, just left us waiting having to make another food order from somewhere else really late. Not ideal when you have children waiting to eat.

I placed my order after 3 hours the food was not delivered and the staff was rude plus they said to me at 11 that the restaurant is closed whereas the restaurant closes at 12

Zero stars ...1 hr late tyre puncture apparently...forgot the bottle of pepsi...anorexic wings... anorexic strips of some kind recieved...3 instead of 5.... tastes as bad as it looks... first and last time ordering from here save urself money and buy a can of soup... no rice either what a joke... save excuses for someone else... requested a refund thru just eat

Waste of money....don't go for wraps...

We ordered a full chicken, chips, bottle of pop, wings, strips, mozzarella sticks and onion rings via deliveroo. The order arrived, we got 4 x chicken hind quarters, not a full chicken. We didnt receive the wings or strips either. The food was delicious......eventually.....we tried to get in touch with Dixterz via their number and deliveroo to let them know we havent received our full order but their number doesnt work and no way to complain via Deliveroo. Food is great but we have been short changed badly and we have no recourse unless we drive to the store......

This is the second time they didn't deliver my order. Scammers?

Shame I can't give a -1 star. This place is absolutely disgraceful. I went in with my partner for a meal. Sitting area was very dirty so we had to take a walk to eat. Customer service is appalling. It took them 20 mins to make 2 burgers and they made the next person's food ready before ours although we were the only customers in the shop when we arrived. The food was awful, all I could taste in the burger was the cheap peri peri sauce and nothing else. The price is very expensive, such a rip off!! I wouldn't recommend anyone to get food from here, even if it were for free. Never going there again, ever. I hope this place gets closed as it doesn't meet any standards at all. Horrendous!!

Went in late hours just for a quick snack..ordered 12 hot wings to share with another person to take away. Wot I actually got was 8 wings and 2 pieces of chicken which the server never told us he was giving. The wings were dry and overly crispy..seems they had been reheated either blitzed in a microwave or put back quickly in the oil..either way seriously disappointed and not worth wot I paid for! Defo won’t be eating anything from this place again!

Went here after a late night movie, it was very disappointing. The Burger was dry and rubbery. We didn't enjoy it a bit. The place isn't great to sit inside and have a meal, even though they have a few tables and chairs. I would categorize this as a takeaway. We had burger and chips, none of it was something to write home about. I would suggest it's a place you go to when you don't really have a choice.

Tbh the three times I've been there, myself and my partner, they said a drink isn't included. £7.99 for a doner meal, chips and drink. Yet all 3 times I've been told no. If it's no, change your menu. Won't be returning anymore.

To be fair the online delivery prices are pretty good and you can get a fair amount of food for one person pretty cheap The disappointment is is for a restaurant that is only 10 minutes drive the chicken had no crispy parts to it at all not even soggy crispy parts that may have gone on warm whilst travelling in the food bag on its way to me Makes me think it's probably not even crispy at the restaurant eating in The burger was pretty fat it was pretty big pretty filling to be fair I will give it that however I know what to expect from a supreme burger with a hash brown in it what you expect is a crispy hash brown even if it's being delivered and and the chicken with some sort of seasoning The taste of it it was a very soggy piece of chicken a hash brown I could barely taste that wasn't crispy the only good thing about this would be the price is cheap there isn't loads and loads of lettuce and there isn't loads and loads of sauce I did try a garlic mayonnaise dip which I have to say they tasted more like chives and the ketchup was your usual watered down ketchup Popcorn chicken wasn't brilliant it seems to have the same oil fry taste as all the others which I do not like and and it was a very very small portion less than 10 popcorn chicken pieces in the box when I ordered some prime kebab and pretty much had A entire box filled to the top of popcorn chicken even though that was also terrible in taste they still had a much larger The taste wasn't horrible it just wasn't very tasteful crispy with nice popcorn chicken 3/10

I live in milton keynes. I was in Grange Park, Northampton today. I decided to get something to eat around 5pm. I drove all the way to the town centre which is about 6 miles away. Just to eat their wings because they are absolutely delicious. Me and my friend ordered our food which was superb. However, the person serving was reluctant to give salt, napkins and most importantly an extra drizzle of their delicious peri peri sauce. It was like asking for his last rolo or asking him to run the marathon. I would be more than happy to pay for extra portions or their peri peri sauce. Because it is amazing, if they sold it in bottles in tescos I could see them flying off the shelf. They would outsell the nandos sauce. So my 2 stars is for customer service only. 500 stars for the food.

It is good. But no more than that. When we arrived there : -most tables weren't clean -counter did not have a covid barrier -food trays weren't clean either (we ate in takeaway bowls) Food wise: -it was good. The doner meat was really good. -the fries/chips were nothing special but that's ok. -the spicy wings and pieces of chicken were well Seasoned and fried. Very enjoyable. -my friends said the double spicy-chicken burgers and wraps were good/really good. Overall a high 3 👍.

I ordered from their website on the 18th of January and didn’t get my delivery. I called the restaurant and they said they had cancelled the order because they didn’t have any drivers. They said I was going to get a refund in 7 days. It has been over 2 weeks now and I still haven’t got my refund. I called them and they are now saying they didn’t have any cancelled orders on the day. Thieves stay away from them.

I ordered through their website and didn’t get my food or my money back. The restaurant denied that they received my order. Like another reviewer has said. These lot are thieves and I am raging that I got robbed

Very poor quality fried chicken very disappointed

Amazing food. I love the grilled wings and the grilled strips with peri peri sauce. The sauce tastes amazing and has really nice flavours along with the fries and the pizza that I would say tastes better than Domino's pizza.

Went there with my wife to have a quick burger and donner meal, however they took 20mins to just give our meal even though we were the only customers, asked if they had ketchup satchet and they said to me to use the empty ketchup sauce bottle and for me to “press it” for the sauce, reluctantly they filled up the sauce but that was poor customer service and RUDE! The food provided was poor and not nice, the burger patty was tad burn and they didn’t cook the donner meat with chilli sauce on the grill but they just put sauce on top of the meat. I wouldn’t recommend this place

My daughter had the unfortunate experience of visiting this takeaway after a night out with a friend, after politely asking a girl what sauce she had on her meal, she was called white trash, 2 Indian men then proceeded to throw out my daughter, I will be going to the police tomorrow to report this, I have a video of the incident and images of the 2 Asian men, who I will also be going to see tomorrow to discuss my thoughts with them personally

Had the special no. 9 which has lamb Donner, 2 chicken wings, 1 piece SFC, fried and drink for only a fiver! Would've been happy to pay twice considering how good quality the chicken was and how it was fried there and then. Server is super humble, cannot wait to come here again!

Ordered a delivery with some neighbours and was really disappointed. Food took 2.5 hours to arrive and was stone cold and nearly inedible when it finally did turn up. Delivery driver just made up a load of excuses. On the menu they advertise their hottest sauce as “Someone’s going to get hurt”. There’s more spice in tomato ketchup. Very, very disappointing and sub-standard food. Will NOT be ordering from them again.

I call in everytime before I pick it up with plenty of notice. Food is sub standards. I order from there because its close to work. But today is maybe the 4th or 5th time when the food was not ready, So I walked out. Once okay fair enof Twice ok. Mistake happens 3rd time really again 4th time come on now. Are you taking the piss out of Me as a loyal customer.

Very clean and modern place. Went in Xmas Eve for leg and Rice deal. Must say one of the most tasty grilled chicken I ate locally. Chicken was moist and rice was nicely cooked. Am coming back soon guys 😋

We were looking for a place to study before our exam and we checked this place, ordered some of their original chicken meal at 5:99 pounds so that we can have a place to read afterwards then we got really surprised by the taste of their sauce and meat, it was really delicious like we were eating the famous Mang Inasal in our country the Philippines, we really thank the staff for not throwing us out even though we were staying their for almost 2-3 hours to review some notes before heading out to our exam venue.
