delivered the wrong item, (chicken when I order lamb) but it was late and already waited 45 mins so I just ate it.

Ordered a takeaway from them via justeat. The restaurant catered to our dietry needs however the meal itself was miniscule and lacked taste.

The worst food what I eat... Ordering large bottle of drink,came just small can.Pizza with peperoni where is just cheese, kebab with salads,salads little bit.

Every time I order or collect from here I get the most quality service and food. The staff members are always so welcoming and nice. The food is always up to standard and fresh and tasty. I would definitely recommend this place to get takeaway. It’s so convenient if you’re with your friends too!! :)

Was early but not a problem as was fasting service and food was great.

Chicken shish kebab and mixed donor kebab were both very dry. Bread was hard like it had been left out uncovered for a few hours. Disappointed as I have lovely memories of excellent kebab from here, but not any more.

Over an hour late, cold drink was wrong, so I just gave it to him because I’ve given up , food cold

I don’t recommend I was ordering at night and I didn’t want driver to use doors so I leave a note to call on arrival. I also call the restaurant right after placing order and make sure they call. Guys what they did… they use doors. Disappointing

WELL OVER AN HOUR LATE, cold when arrived!, had to nuke it. Once warmed up, Food was fine though!

The food I ordered was not what I received. I asked for a large mixed shish and only got a bit of pitta with few bits of meat more chicken then lamb aswell and then there was a huge gap. Certainly disappointed with how it looked when it arrived.

What has happened to this take away We have used for years and always found the food to be well priced and of good quality However we visited last night and saw that the prices had significantly risen since our last visit We ordered a chicken shish kebab and a donner kebab along with a portion of chips The service was okay but when we got home what was apparent was that the chicken was overcooked and a very small portion My donner was again small in size and the meat was lukewarm to say the least. The dressings were bland and the salad paltry The chips were not warm and undercooked Looking at the place it feels very tired and the lack of customers or phone orders whilst we, were there suggests that the business is struggling. We will not be returning based on this experience Very poor food served lukewarm and expensive

Standard sheesh kebab, had 4 bits of chicken in, salad was dry despite the sauce. Chips were thick with oil and looked like they had been dipped multiple times in oil. Not sure if rationing due to NYE but most of the meal went in the bin…..I ate the chicken! Wouldn’t order again in a hurry.

Ordered two kebabs late at night, wasn't expecting much but actually shocked how nice these were! Come on time, nice delivery guy, warm, well wrapped, you could taste and smell the flavour of the grill. Definitely be ordering again! Only small negative is I wish the salad didn't include red cabbage or you could select individual items

Whenever I order now I never get “a pitta bread” that I ordered and tonight I got “cheesy chips” which again I didn’t order! Naan bread is not pitta bread!!!!! Chips shouldn’t come with cheese unless that’s what’s ordered. Ordered from Istanbul Chef for years. Not afraid of going forward but if I order something that’s what I expect to get delivered!

Delivery driver was very polite and kind. Food was Amazing. Accepted to many free mushrooms. which was my fault had to freeze the rest but all the Kebabs were exquisite and so tasty. the lahmachun was very taste and came with a separate salad so you can build yourself. Compliments to the chef and all the staff. 100 % recommend Istanbul Chef. wok be trying their Kari next time.

Works well as long as they pack the salad separately to prevent the order arriving cold.

I ordered doner meat and chips - got doner meat and half a naan bread. No chips. I don’t understand why it’s so hard to fill an order. Doner meat and chips with a pitta bread is not hard to understand!?!?!

Absolute terrible. Late delivery driver showed no care and actually moaned how far he had to drive and said he wouldn’t do it agin. Kebab had three bits of meat in it. Spent £30 with delivery. So disappointed ruined our night

Had the large chef special and it was delicious. It’s been a while since I ordered from here as I felt it wasn’t as good as it used to be years ago but definitely back to the standard of the good old days. I’ll definitely be ordering again soon 10/10

So the delivery time, great the driver was friendly.. the food is something I will never order again, soggy bitty chips, dry flavourless kebab and child size portions for a large price. I never ever complain but this was awful

I’m really upset that a doner kebab is served in a naan bread! Doner meat, shish etc is served in a pitta as per the country. If I wanted an Indian takeaway I would perhaps expect a Naan bread but I ordered from Istanbul Chef so I expected an Istanbul experience of my doner served in a pitta bread - not an Indian substitute! Sad really as we have ordered with them for years. !
