Whenever I order now I never get “a pitta bread” that I ordered and tonight I got “cheesy chips” which again I didn’t order! Naan bread is not pitta bread!!!!! Chips shouldn’t come with cheese unless that’s what’s ordered. Ordered from Istanbul Chef for years. Not afraid of going forward but if I order something that’s what I expect to get delivered!

Delivery driver was very polite and kind. Food was Amazing. Accepted to many free mushrooms. which was my fault had to freeze the rest but all the Kebabs were exquisite and so tasty. the lahmachun was very taste and came with a separate salad so you can build yourself. Compliments to the chef and all the staff. 100 % recommend Istanbul Chef. wok be trying their Kari next time.

Works well as long as they pack the salad separately to prevent the order arriving cold.

I ordered doner meat and chips - got doner meat and half a naan bread. No chips. I don’t understand why it’s so hard to fill an order. Doner meat and chips with a pitta bread is not hard to understand!?!?!

Delicious chicken burger, featuring a perfectly grilled patty topped with fresh veggies and sauce, was a standout item on the menu. The mushroom dish offered a rich and delecious flavor, complementing the meal perfectly. The cheesy kebab baguette combined tender kebab meat with gooey cheese for a satisfying bite. The dessert of the day was a delightful finish to the meal. Highly recommended 100%.

To many times they don’t read the comments when ordering meal deals and miss items off your order and when you ring up you get someone who doesn’t speak good English so doesn’t understand what you are saying

Absolute terrible. Late delivery driver showed no care and actually moaned how far he had to drive and said he wouldn’t do it agin. Kebab had three bits of meat in it. Spent £30 with delivery. So disappointed ruined our night

So the delivery time, great the driver was friendly.. the food is something I will never order again, soggy bitty chips, dry flavourless kebab and child size portions for a large price. I never ever complain but this was awful

I’m really upset that a doner kebab is served in a naan bread! Doner meat, shish etc is served in a pitta as per the country. If I wanted an Indian takeaway I would perhaps expect a Naan bread but I ordered from Istanbul Chef so I expected an Istanbul experience of my doner served in a pitta bread - not an Indian substitute! Sad really as we have ordered with them for years. !

I was really disappointed! I ordered doner meat and chips as usual. I got doner meat x about 5/6 pieces and half a naan bread. I don’t even like naan bread and I definitely didn’t order it ( although you have to choose a pitta bread or wrap on the app). It really was a poor meal for the money so I think I won’t bother anymore.

Food was the worst ever, everything was cold, dry and really not what I would expect, very disappointed.

Worst experience I have ever had. £16 for a slice of greasy bread, a small slice of rotten tomato and a very small amount of burnt doner kebab. Zero is too much for you, you cheaters

Over an hour late, rang up after been 35 minutes late and was told it should be here any minute. Still wasn’t here so called up again after an hour and was told driver left 10/15 minutes ago. Still not arrived. Can’t comment on the food as haven’t received it

I wouldn’t even give 1 star ! I pre-ordered a kebab the night before and I got it late it was cold and also when it arrived it wasn’t a large that cost me £16. It was more a medium. I’m very unhappy with my order and I shall not be ordering again from them and I will make sure I will tell people that I do not recommend this place.

The last few orders have been very tight on chicken portion size, however as the taste is good so l have continued to order from here. Normally I would collect but this time I ordered delivery, the order was slightly wrong, ordered 1 chicken shish kebeb, 1 chicken shish pitta, large chips and dips. Chips came as a small, requested no onions and had many in my wrap. Also just a minor thing, I asked for a pot of the yoghurt and mint sauce they have when I collect but this didn't come.

4.09pm came very good food and service.

My order had several things missing. These took 30 mins to arrive.

The beef pizza was fantastic, but the chicken 1 was not good at all, the chicken was so hard could not eat it. I will order again to see. Thank you

I had ordered doner and chicken with chips, guys you gave me three shavings of meat with some chicken like seriously you can buy doner meat from Iceland and it tastes the same , your bread was nice but I can my bread too , for 12 pounds your a poor excuse to be called Istanbul kebab more like we have no clue

Not up to the usual standard. Some kind of bread instead of a pitta and meat was dry and hard in places. Salad was almost non existent!

I ordered a chicken doner kebab with salad and a pitta. The meat was ok but there was hardly any salad. The sauce was not drizzled on it was a blob in one corner. It looked messy and rushed.

Food arrived late, was freezing cold and food quality was awful. For the price of £25 is disgusting. Food was out for delivery after approximately 20 mins and was still late taking nearly 1 hour to arrive. Very poor will not use again.

Just ate our collected food from Istanbul Chef. Burgers were both ok though not really tasty; clearly straight from frozen rather than fresh. We also ordered cheesy chips with our burgers not realising that the burgers also come with chips. Appreciate it may have said but when we asked if one portion of cheesy chips with our burgers will be sufficient we got a resounding ‘yes’ (without mention of other said chips that already come with the burger!). Therefore feel we’ve been ripped off, especially as we asked about the chips being enough. Surely they would realise we were ordering them separate because we didn’t know the burgers come with them! Anyway, to pile on the misery, even after waiting at least 20 minutes, the chips are that thick that they’re not fully cooked!! So many raw chips, what a waste. Used to love this place but this was particularly poor.

Absolutely shocking, I meant to put a review on after we ordered but I forgot all about this until I went to look elsewhere for veggie kebabs tonight. Normally when we get a good veggie kebab it consists of peppers, mushrooms & onions. This had brocolli, carrots n Brussels sprouts I know it was Xmas but what on earth were they thinking, seriously did not go with thr sauces. Whomever come up with that mix has no right to be in any kitchen!

Placed an order requesting delivery food eventually arrived 1hr late spoke directly to them and all they kept says was traffic was bad. 1hr to do a 15 minute journey is just an excuse poor customer service. Will never use again very poor service all round.

I placed an order at 15.00 today for delivery at 17.00 due to the fact I leave for work at 18.00. I ended up having to call restaurant twice to find out where the delivery was and as I was leaving for work 17.59 the order arrived with the excuse he was stuck in traffic. He told me it had taken over an hour to get to me which for a 10 minute journey is rubbish. I want a refund and will not ever use just eat App or restaurant again. Rubbish service and just as bad trying to lodge complaint.

Absolutely fantastic experience! Ordered a kebab wrap via pickup service on Just Eat and couldn't be happier. The wrap was delicious and incredibly filling. The staff were lovely, and my order arrived right on time. Overall, a flawless service, 10/10 would highly recommend!

this must be the worst Pizza i have ever had in my life, not even got a tomato base, it was so dry they both went in the bin.....£22 in the bin, if i could put minus stars it would be minus 5, i would avoid. go somewhere else.

My God this has gone downhill, years ago it was so good. For a start, I had to repeat my order four times to an abrupt member of staff; the burgers menu clearly states "all burgers come with chips and drink" on the sign yet he insisted on charging me for the latter two in addition (disgraceful, that is not only not a meal deal, the items are specifically mentioned for a meal deal). The food was barely edible, horrible chewy chips, sloppy burger etc. and tired salad which had probably been sitting there for an age. I won't ever use this place again.

Chicken shish nice, lamb shish seemed short of lamb this time, chips are so chunky, don't like them.
