Excellent time with the friends for a meet up. Place would be brilliant if it had a pub quiz definitely a good place for one.

We had a lovely takeaway from here tonight. However I was quite surprised when my husband told me that there was no hand sanitizer when you entered the shop. Also there was no perspex covering on the counter. Also the staff were not wearing masks etc. Is this normal for a takeaway?

This is the worst Chinese I have ever had. After waiting an hour and a half for delivery for one meal, it finally arrived. On opening the containers, the chicken curry was stone cold to the fact the curry sauce was gelled thick. Chips were also stone cold. Side dishes were past stone cold. Usually I would just throw in bin, but after spending £40 I phoned to complain to be told that they didn't care. Shocked for once I didn't have an answer. Please do not entertain and waste your money on this establishment.

If you’ve had authentic Chinese food before, this is not authentic Chinese food. It was very europeanised. I ordered the combination noodles which had the slow cooked pork (very nice), half an egg (liked it), some sort of chicken in sweet and sour (very pleasant - reminded me of some good school dinners I had way back in the day), two chicken nuggets (eh they were okay), udon noodles and a sauce. The sauce was very tasty but I think that came from the pork. I had a Diet Coke which was priced at £3.60… audacious if you ask me. But we had a long day and I wanted a cold drink. This place is very small so I understand the price point but the label of Chinese food doesn’t really warrant it. It was hot food that was filling but this is a European-Asian fusion restaurant. The staff were pleasant though little room to make changes to the portion sizes which I didn’t get. I don’t know if it was a language/communication barrier. It cost just over £20 each (expensive in my eyes for what we got. £15 a head would’ve been more appropriate but I understand they’re a small business in a small town). It’s what we needed but I wouldn’t go back.
