Great takeaway. Very good prices compared to others locally. Quick service despite it being a very busy place. Generous portions and very tasty. Would rate it 9 out of 10 overall.

We ordered 1 chicken curry fried rice and 1 sweet and sour pork fried rice and was very ill after eating it. The chicken was raw the rice was cold the sweet and sour pork was that tough I couldn't eat it or chew through it as a result both meals were put in the dustbin best place for them. I called them to tell them to explain how bad the meals were and how sick I was they were not interested at all worst meal that we have ever received from a take away and we have tried many places this by far the worst. My stomach was in pain for just the 2 pieces of meat I tried to consume they should be shut down their food is disgusting and not fit for human consumption. The place needs reported to food standards agency which I will be doing due to the sickness from their food.

I ordered 2 white pudding suppers and a red pudding and it's was not fit to eat I would not even give it to a dog it was that bad place stinks and the guy cooking stands out the back smoking until you order from the Chinese guy then he comes in and cooks your food would give a wide berth only reason I went I had it years ago and it was good

Ordered takeaway told it would take one hour did not arrive until two hours later. Warm food,hair in chips, not answering phone, shocking place never again.

Great Chinese, excellent food but really upset that after ordering from them fortnightly for years they forgot part of the order. Mistakes happen not a problem. They offered a refund or the items added on to our next order. I graciously excepted but when I tried to get said item on the next accession they claimed there was no note on they system and that we all ready received it. £100 worth of orders a month and they conned me out of a £5. Really disappointed. By all means order from them, they are very good but do not except credit. Get your refund.

Avoid! Munchie box had half raw food half burnt. The bbq sauce looked like lumpy dog food & who knows what the actual lumps are. Half of the order missing. The list goes on. The lady on the phone was extremely rude with no apology. Will never go again.

Absolutely shocking - don’t order the chicken curry - you get chicken and a tablespoon of curry sauce. Called to ask what’s going on to be told this is how they make them all so. Could have so easily been resolved by giving a portion of curry sauce but no, this was too much to give.

Estaba preocupado después de ver críticas negativas últimamente, pero en un pequeño descanso no estaba preocupado por salir a comerLlamé por teléfono y solicité la entrega, estaba aquí en 20 minutos, el empleado fue muy servicial y la comida fue simplemente increíble, no puedo quejarme en absoluto

Recibí un recordatorio oportuno de por qué no comimos aquí esta noche, y si pudiera dar 0 estrellas, lo habría hecho.El súper pescado empanizado era lo que solo podría describirse como producido en masa, como pescado horneado congelado lleno de huesos y simplemente horrible.La tiré a la basura y en cuanto a la comida china, es fácil decir que es, con mucho, la peor comida china vendida y simplemente tan sosa.No me molestaré en quejarme con los propietarios, ya que lo hicimos hace mucho tiempo una vez que solíamos comer aquí, y su servicio al cliente es tan bueno como la comida. #horribleEvite a toda costa.

I didn’t think you could do Chinese wrong!! Especially egg fried rice, looks ok but the taste on the other hand is bland, rough and odd!! I would go elsewhere, it’s sad that I felt the need to compose this review

¡Revisó Millburn Takeaway antes y el servicio ha empeorado, no mejor! El tamaño de las porciones se ha reducido y el precio ha aumentado, pero lamentablemente no hay servicio al cliente. Cliente habitual ya que vivimos muy cerca de Millburn Takeaway. Pedí 3 cenas esta noche para recoger, pagué por teléfono y mi hijo bajó en bicicleta para recoger. Imagine nuestra decepción cuando faltaron algunas fichas y fue mediocre ser educado. Llamé para quejarme y llamar a una mujer que claramente había estropeado las órdenes una vez más, pero estaba culpando a otra persona. Finalmente conseguimos las patatas fritas para acompañar la cena 10 minutos más tarde, apenas pudimos disfrutar de un rato en familia cuando no había todas las comidas. No los volveré a usar como servicio y la comida es una porquería, demasiado cara y no les importa. Lo que deben recordar es que el cliente paga su salario. ¡No creas que van a sobrevivir mucho tiempo en estos tiempos de la manera en que van, ya que básicamente es basura demasiado cara! ! ! ! ! No hay más remedio que dar una estadística, si es posible, daría menos.

Had a delivery tonight and whilst bitting into chicken it was very pink inside and raw. Chips tasted like they were last night chips.

I had chicken skewers and the chicken was pink also my salt and chilli chicken was pink the rice was hard and crunchy the chips tasted like the oil hasn’t been changed for at least a year

Era bastante notorio que la comida no era fresca, tanto en sabor como en olor. Las raciones eran pequeñas, sobre todo según el precio (los envases de plástico estaban medio llenos y con grandes trozos de verduras poco cocidas. La salsa del pollo al limón era fina y sin sabor y la piña sabía a acetona. La carne estaba dura como una 30 libras desperdiciadas en la basura.

Honestamente, he estado ordenando a Millburn Takeaway por un tiempo y, por supuesto, siempre obtengo lo mismo (pollo chow mein con los rollitos de primavera vegetarianos), pero siento que han mejorado cada vez que ordeno. Utilizo la aplicación justeat y nunca he tenido una mala experiencia. El pollo chow mein está lleno de sabor (para mí de todos modos) y los rollitos de primavera son increíbles. La comida está CALIENTE cuando llega a mi puerta, además su servicio de entrega se ha vuelto más rápido. No estoy seguro de hacer pedidos por teléfono porque siempre uso la aplicación, ¡pero son increíbles!

Uso Millburn Takeaway todo el tiempo, pero últimamente han ido cuesta abajo. La persona que contestó el teléfono se puso en contacto conmigo para preguntarme si mi hija estaba recogiendo mi pedido. En realidad era mi hijo y le habían dado nuestra orden a otra persona. ¡Total basura!

Servicio pobre. Se acabó algo que pedimos (leche para hacer una salsa) y me hicieron esperar otros 15 m 8 ns mientras iban a comprar leche. Durante todo este tiempo mi pedido se empapó y se enfrió. Ni siquiera me ofrecieron un descuento. NO use este lugar. Use Magic Wok en lugar de estrellas

Terrible food was just warm and looked like and tasted like heated up from last night have gone here for years but this is the second terrible meal and will not be going back

Solo tenga mucho cuidado con la forma en que redacta su pedido. Pedimos arroz frito con pollo y anacardos y obtuvimos un plato de pollo y anacardos con una porción de arroz frito. Cuando los llamo al respecto, cito "no hay nada que pueda hacer al respecto". Terrible, especialmente cuando mi esposa tiene alergia al chile. Muy, muy decepcionado con el servicio al cliente.

Collected meal myself. Meal wasn't very hot and the chicken wasn't very nice. The texture was rubbery. I think it was cheap chicken, full of water. Phoned and complained but didn't get anywhere. Won't be going back.

Visited on saturday night and didn't check my change. Big mistake £10 short. Called shop thinking they can cash up and when £10 over on till i would get back. But apparantely not everything goes through the till so nothing they could do. Really???! Thought you had to register everything. My mistake should of checked but they were not helpful at all

Definitely is not the best chippy. Sausage supper was, well, tasteless. Yes I have it two stars, only because it was warm. I reckon I won't be using it again.

Good portions, quickly delivered. We had family members visiting with young kids as well as adults. All the food arrived hot and were well cooked.

Food is always lovely and hot, can take up to an hour but just eats tells you that anyway and the staff over the phone seem lovely but the delivery driver is and absolute embarrassment to the business!

We have just purchased four dishes from Millburn & today was the worst Chinese ever. This is our local takeaway but we will never be back. I think that this evening they must have the cleaners or the delivery guys doing the cooking! Overly salted or laced with MSG, swimming in a thin soup like liquid rather than a sauce & the duck & mushroom dish should have more accurately advertised as duck fat/skin & mushroom. How can you take people's hard earned money on a Friday night for this swill?

Food tasted disgusting and not very hot. Gave it benefit of the doubt and tried again recently but was just as bad. So called manager is a complete muppet with no customer service skills. After 19 years of being a loyal customer we’ve moved on to a different takeaway

Ordered chinese at 8.15pm still waiting 9.30pm phoned and told the same its been extremely busy. Put on hold at the start awful.

Ordered on the Just Eat app at half past 6 and at 9 o clock and after two phone calls we still have no food! On the second occasion we phoned we were told 'we' be been really busy'

I've ordered from this chinese before and the food quality has been nothing but amazing. However tonight we got a munchy box and where do I start. All the chicken pieces were over salted so we couldn't eat them, the ribs had hardly any meat on them and the rice was cold. The chips and onion rings were soggy and the diced up onions weren't even cooked. We basically paid £20.30 for a box of soggy chips as there was hardly any meat. I'm not one for giving negative reviews and I will also give some positive feedback. The curry sauce was amazing and this is all we could salvage to eat with the prawn crackers and the delivery was quick.

Spent £51 recently and the food was disgusting, absolutely no taste in anything!!! Will never be back! So expensive too. What a waste of hard earned cash 😡

Millburn is a takeaway establishment only. My Take Away was very average, spare ribs dry and slightly burnt not very palatable

Tried a few dishes now and been lovely every time. Tried this place before and it was a hit or miss. Lately it’s been very consistant, been told new management and new chef. Would highly recommend trying again if you’s have been disappointed in the past .

Ordered food for 3 people and was told due to being busy delivery time would be a little over an hour. 2 hours later I rang to be told there was some sort of mix up and they haven't even sent it out. Would of been nice to be told and kept updated.

Always found this takeaway to be fairly hit or miss. More misses than hits lately though. Tonight Singapore fried rice was beyond bad. Not a hint of a chilli and 90% very dry rice. Won’t be back.

So I don't live in Inverness anymore and it had been almost 3 years since my last takeaway so I decided on millburn. After reading a couple of bad reviews I decided to go there anyway and I was absolutely delighted with my order. The food was still so fresh and delicious when I got home and I couldn't fault a single bit of it. It tasted amazing!! It really did. I didn't like the pot of chilli sauce but that's down to my own taste buds. Great value too, I had a special chow main, battered chicken balls with chips and a pot of sauce. All for less than £15! The portion sizes too where very generous. The gentleman who took my order also called me as I unexpectedly took longer than 20 mins to come collect. He was very helpful giving me the best deal as I was ordering everything separately at first. When collecting I was greeted with a smile and politeness. Thank you millburn takeaway, food and service was perfect.

Reviewing the Chinese part of Millburn take away Lovely food , piping hot , friendly service..also provides a delivery service . Never once had a bad meal from here ..will continue to use !

First visit. Easy parking and friendly. Decided to revisit the delights of barbecue spared ribs. I semember when this dish would come as an echelon of maybe half a dozen ribs with tender meat pickings. You would need a hot face cloth to keep your mouth and hands clean. What Millburn served was a raggedy mess of mishapen bones,as tough as old boots, inedible in a pungent sauce. Wife had scampi. Tasteless inside the well cooked tempura coating. I had a taste from her platter. Credit due ........ it was steaming hot. Food not good enough to attempt a second visit. BUT .... there was a continuous stream of customers. What did they know that I didn’t?

Massive king prawns in batter, but actually HUGE pieces of uncooked batter with the prawns burrowed deep inside.

Great fresh cooked food, fantastic service and has never ever disappointed!! well worth a visit, keep it up.

always piping hot and always super tasty. We have been here many times and would go back. Sometimes the staff can be a little rude and abrupt and it can be pricey. Sometimes it can take a while to get through on the phone because it can be so busy.

Good food and a wide range of choices. Full traditional chip shop range and Chinese takeaway next door. Ideal if you are staying at Jury's Inn as it's just across the road. Good value for the money and friendly, helpful service.

Ordered a chop suey. The sauce was floppy and the chicken had a horrible aftertaste. Maybe reheated or something. Wasn't right. Good portion size average quality though.

Our local takeaway has a good menu and delivers quickly. We have never had a bad meal from the Milburn Takeaway and I would describe it as above average.

ordered 2 curries and a prawn chow mein and the chow mein was given as a rice with king prawns which was disappointing. The curries were lovely and food was hot and came quickly after order was given.

Just got home with my takeaway from Millburn Takeaway Inverness. First time ever to find my Chicken Maryland had no banana!. Phoned to complain only to be told they don't use banana in their C.M.. That's part of the dish surely? Nothing wrong with the food but I'll have to go elsewhere and ask the contents before I buy. Think they should rethink this policy

Take out expensive and awful. Crispy chicken soggy and batter awful tasting, pancake roll heavy and not filo pastry but thick gloppy pastry, also very strange taste. Total waste of money, won't be back any time soon. Let's hope that they get new cooks before trading out at culloden pub.

We decided to give the chinese ago as we were staying across the road in a hotel and were all glad we did. On average most main meals were about £7.00. The quantity of meat in the meals was great and we all felt we had got value for money. We had about a 20 min wait for the food and it all tasted lovely and fresh. The staff were friendly and happy to have a laugh while waiting for the food and the place had a positive atmosphere.

Service is fast, generous with their portion sizes (we share 1 curry between 3!) and it's our favourite chinese in town - definitely a returning customer.

I looooooove the chinese there, we always go here for our favourite take away chinese. Service is fast and we will be back for sure soon.

used this takeaway for quite a number of years and unfortunately the quality of the food and cooking has gone down hill. Ordered 2 chicken curries and spring rolls- no taste, greasy and not well cooked. Spring rolls were burnt and full of grease - yuk

Very disappointing had a Chicken Maryland and there was no pineapple fritter the banana was in breadcrumbs and the chips were heated up from the previous evening won't be returning

Ordered takeaway over the phone and it arrived at the time specified, no hanging waiting for it to arrive, impressed with that. My wife ordered chicken chow mien and myself chicken curry, both of which were very tasty. Will definitely order food from here again.

Went here tonight for the first time and it was very busy but did not have to wait too long.Spotlessly clean.Friendly staff.The Fryer is a lovely lady called LouLou.

Been to this takeaway quite a few times now. Every visit has been really good. Good excellent really helpful staff. We phoned ahead so wait was minimal. Never used the delivery service so cannot comment on that, but think it's one of the best in Inverness in terms of food. Will. E going back again

We always get a Chinese from here when we are in Inverness and it is always delicious, can't fault it!

Ordered a takeaway tonight and told it would take an hour. Came in less than 30 minutes! No wonder. We didn't receive full order and what we did receive was poorly cooked and greasiest Singapore noodles I have EVER had. Hardly any chicken and two prawns and the curry powder used was not cooked through. Been trying to call for last half hour but they have clearly taken phone off the hook. Not happy and will certainly not go back again!

Had two Chinese takeaways here over the past few months - and on both occasions food was excellent - really tasty, hot and plentiful. Certainly one of the best in Inverness in my opinion - just be careful - can be very busy so wait can be long - but worth it. The chippy side of it I tried once and wouldn't go back - went in just after 10 and they hardly had anything available - maybe a one off, but service was poor and availability very poor! Score of 4 given for Chinese - chippy would be a 2.

Really bad service tonight , ordered 2 meals from the chippie and three from the Chinese , took over an hour and refused money back or just get from chip shop. Overheard they got a really big order so stuff the regulars . Managers just refused to help.

Have been going here for many years as it was one of our favourite chineses but our last two visits have been really disappointing, the first time I thought it was a one off but the beef and tomato I had last night I was unable to eat as the beef was extremely grizzly and sauce was tasteless

Situated on the busy Millburn Road this venue has easy access from the busy main carriageway. It also offers both traditional fish and chips alongside a range of Chinese take away goods. Modern , clean, reasonably priced with pleasant staff, give it a try!
