The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Yorkshire and The Humber

Honestly amazing, best part is that they offer some dim sum which is rare at most Chinese takeaways e.g. char siu bao. Not sure how the negative reviews came to be, we've been a few times now

Food was really nice,the only down side was the girl who answered the phone, no clue what so ever,couldnt understand or take in anything

I have used this takeaway weekly on average since 1977. Unfortunately there has been a notice in the window to say that it has ceased trading (September 2024). I'm very disappointed to say the least but I would like to thank Peter and all his staff for the years of serving us with some lovely food. All the best in the future and good luck..... End of an era.

I think this is the best place to get chicken chow mien from . We have tried the others in town and the unigue taste brings us back every time . Great service and banter . We have been coming for 28 years Well recommend.

Very impressed with the quality and taste of their food. Just a shame it's in an area that has young idiots that bang on the windows and cause a nuisance of them selves. No disrespect to the business though...this is a place to try if you have not before..and go back to if you have. Highly recommended from Daron

Had today. Speedy delivery and lovely people but I ordered 3 meat dishes and the meat in each was overcooked, hard and dry. The noodles, rice and veg were fine. Sadly, this isn't the first time so we won't be returning.

Excellent authentic Chinese food. I was with friends from Hong Kong and they were amazed with the taste and quality of the food. We returned for dinner again the next night!

I received a message half an hour before it was due saying it was on its way but it never turned up till the estimated time. I was going to question this as I’d seen the driver driving past as he couldn’t find my house resulting in the food being cold but a little boy no older than 12 delivered it to my door so i just took the food and said nothing but won’t be using them again.

We are a fairly regular user but disappointed now that prices have gone up! 😕 Sept 2024 There has been further increase in prices again - unlikely to visit now 😓

Food was stone cold, food was late originally meant to be with us at 21:10 then changed to 21:25, then when I looked at 21:30 it had moved again to 21:50. We ordered starters only, dread to think how long it would have taken for a curry!! Driver was too busy on his phone did not even acknowledge us, just shoved food at us while on phone and walked off! Not happy at all. Food did not warm up well when heated back up.

Always go here when in scarborough, highly recommend

aifah was lovely towards us, all staff were in general. food was amazing and atmosphere/vibes were great.. would definitely recommend going if u enjoy different variety’s of foods and want to try something new!!
