The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Test Valley South East

I ordered through Just Eat and the food delivery time was slipping to the right so I called Fat Buddha and they told me the courier had already left despite the Just Eat app not showing that. I called back 15 mins later because it still hadn't arrived and they assured me it had definitely left. Sometime later the Just Eat app showed the courier leaving, I asked the courier when she left the resturaunt and she told me it was several minutes before her arrival, as the app showed. So the staff lied and the food was absolutely not worth the wait, it was really poor. The courier told me she always has issues with Fat Buddha, they are consistently late.

This place has been going since I was a child and I must say it's my favourite Chinese takeaway by far. I live 20 mins away and will happily drive the 40 mins round trip to collect a takeaway from here. Also the only Chinese I know that has a separate vegan menu. If I could give more stars I would! Always so friendly and professional. You can tell they take pride in their food and service!

You really need to update the pricing on your online menu on your website and google. Don't use Google business, who even uses that, honestly. You will get complaints for this and many other problems. Funnily enough here is one right here. Customer service needs addressing. Uncompromising denial of the existence of a pretty aged menu that is publicly downloadable from Google. Does not put you in a good light. Take this review as help

Whenever we visit my parents, we always make a point of enjoying a dinner at The Water Margin. The food is always delicious, well presented and oh so moorish and satisfying. Ordered from the golden dragon tonight. Normally use a different Chinese but got told to use the golden dragon. Ordered a delivery. Arrived in a hour. That's fine as was perfect for us. Delivery driver was a nice chap. Salt and pepper chicken was great. Crispy bit of chicken. Beef noodles (beef was not chewy and just right). Egg fried nice was nice and fluffy. Satay chicken sticks was slightly spicy and peanuty. Hos d'oeuvres really nice and the chicken balls. I have to say better than the normal Chinese we order from. We had compliantly ribs and chicken and prawn crackers. Amazing food with nice flavours. Now feel full and want to crash in a good coma. Can't believe I haven't eaten from this little gem before. Good work.

We have not eaten here in years. They do what looks like a great table service buffet menu, but as not big eaters we ordered off the a la carte menu. We enjoyed our dinner.

this meal had to be the worse thing that ive ever tasted, the chips were green the chicken fried rice had bones in it, has to be the worse chinese in hampshire
