The best restaurants serving Chinese food in North West

I always get the exact same order from here, Special fried rice extra prawns, curry sauce and mini veg spring rolls, can't complain it's always bang on can't say anything about any of the other food but 10/10 everytime for what I order and delivery is usually pretty quick too.

All the food inside the naan wrap was ideal but the bread was too dense/ heavy bit of a shame

This used to be a great Chinese restaurant. But not anymore! Our grandson surprised us by phoning to say he was bringing a takeaway from 88 for dinner to our house. Great we thought! But the reality was absolutely terrible. The first thing we noticed when unpacking the food was that 2 of the dishes were totally wrong and not as expected. The food was barely warm, even though our grandson waited at the restaurant while the order was being prepared, and we live only 2 minutes from the restaurant. The food just looked and tasted like it had been pre-cooked and then just warmed up. The quality was nothing like we had previously experienced. Some dishes were even unidentifiable! We phoned to ask the restaurant if they had a new chef on duty or if there was a change of ownership and we were told that the restaurant had changed hands about a week ago. Our complaints were listened to, in silence, and we asked if they were prepared to do something about it and the answer was no! So, goodbye 88, reading other comments, the restaurant is doomed to fail because the attitude of the owner is unacceptable and the food served is also unacceptable. Do not waste your money!

Delicious food! Best Chinese in Blackpool in my opinion. Very friendly service too!

Double check the pricing and what they charge you guys. Very suspicious.

Fuimos a la cena de cumpleaños de mi compañero. La comida era agradable, y el servicio era bueno. Se mezclaron algunas cosas, pero éramos una mesa de 22 y el restaurante estaba muy ocupado.

Went here last night with my eldest daughter. Cosy little restaurant and great service by the hosts. The hot and sour soup was probably the best I have ever tasted and I also had the fillet steak black pepper which was also very nice. Daughter loved her chow mein and after visiting this place, we will be back with the rest of the family Lovely spot highly recommend

I always have chicken chow mein from here. It is the best chow mein i’ve had from the area, not sitting in liquid, no soggy veg, always hot and plenty of it. reasonably priced too. My partner always has the yung chow and he can’t fault it. Wish they still did the sweet & sour though, because that was also super tasty!

Never order, they let you down at last minute. Keep being told they are good but I get let down and have to choose an alternative.

Dreadful absolutely awful, after a few years break of having takeaways from here we decided to give it a try, two portions of spare ribs, a special curry and a beef curry, rice and chips which came to the overprice of £49, the ribs were lots of fat with very little meat on them, the chips were Ok, the rice was more or less one solid block, I can only speak about my so called special curry which must have been cooked in a canister full of salt it consisted of 2 prawns a bit of fatty pork some other meat which I dread to think what it was, all in a sauce that could be served in one lump or two with for some unknown reason lots of broccoli thrown in hardly cooked to fill out this whole mess of rubbish save your money and go to a restaurant and save money.

Fantastic and probably the best Chinese take away in Winsford. Have visited for many years and never been let down. Very friendly staff also !

This must be the worst Chinese restaurant/ carry out in the entire world, they must have thrown them out of china for cooking so badly, we ordered the complete meal for 2 and extra vegetable spring rolls, ok , the ribs were good as was the prawn crackers , the spring rolls were mostly onions , the sweet and sour chicken was just about ok, don’t get me wrong I got loads of chicken, the chicken curry was probably the worst curry in the entire world, bland watered down tasteless some kinda sauce , but never curry, , the rice was bland to , only went here because after looking up the best one to go to ( the Rainbow) it was closed , so we seen this one open and said we would try it , should have read the reviews first or went to the chippey , the young lad taking the order nice and quiet, the older man ( delivery driver) was a really nice man , well seeing he wasn’t rushed of his feet , but we didn’t know as we were on holiday, but don’t go
