Not been in here for a while,Went in tonight and the chips was last nights left overs that will be the last time I return here I've noticed that less people go here now,

Went last night chips looked like they had been in the fryer since 1987 the sausage wasn't far behind awful even the dogs turned the nose up at it need to get better

I have been to this chippy on numerous times roughly always around 9:30pm. The food from here is always average but on Friday I stopped off and tried again. Let’s say it will be my last the chips we’re soggy and the sweet and sour sauce wasn’t any better. The salt and pepper chips were also were also well beyond standard. The owner is always wearing disposable gloves constantly which he sanitises after you handling money and food equipment. As most people know bacteria develops much faster on gloves than it does on your hands therefore this is the wrong practice in hygiene. This place need a health inspection and he needs to do his level 2 hygiene certificate again.

Awful takeaway. Just had chips and gravy which looked like melted black tar had been put on top. Absolutely grim. Gone straight in the bin

Worst chop suey roll ever..no shrimp/prawn no beansprouts just carrot and cabbage.£3.50 rip off.

Well visted shanghai house tonight and I was not disappointed . The staff were friendly the owner was lovely and polite 😊anunty Pauline behind the counter very friendly and the service was Fast and prompt I didn't wait long and they were very busy With phone orders and delivery's. The food was worth the drive from blackley it was hot fresh and plentiful full of flavour worth the money and worth the visit. I definitely will be going back.

6 times in last 6 months, good every time.

Absolutely terrible service took 1hour and 40 minutes for 2 meals and a side when asked the 1st time after an hour where my food was I was told it's Sat on the side waiting for the driver, when I asked again 15 minutes later I was told the driver has just set off, it took another 15 minutes from then when i live 1.7 miles away and now the order isn't even what We wanted. Absolute joke and I'm the one who's rude.

I don't know who made the hot and sour soup this evening but it was disgusting!! Gravy and vinegar soup more like! Which is unfortunate as last time we got some it was delicious.

If i could it would be no stars about 6 months ago ordered salt n pepper shredded chicken an other stuff had it delivered thr chicken just snapped in half so phoned up and spoke to a girl who then put me though to owner but she said to him a womans MOANING about chicken so he came on phone an said thats how it is crispy i said crispy it snaps in bloody half no refund and no replacement absolutley shocking customer service will never go there again what i should of done is take it back and show them but just couldnt be bothrred been working all day

Went in to order and it took 40 mins! Only 2 people in front of us who had already ordered. No apologies for the delay. Food was expensive in comparison to other take aways where the food is far better - no meat on the salt and pepper ribs. Awful.

Used this takeaway since it opened, and generally found it to be Ok, However as with many places the standards have slipped. Tonight (and for the last time) we placed an order, My salt and pepper spare ribs were nothing more than deep fried balls of fat or gristle, swimming in grease. I then had beef Satay with crispy noodles, the beef was a very poor cut of beef boiled and overcooked, rendering it inedible. On phoning the establishment to voice my displeasure, I was constantly asked (what do you want me to do) eventually he offered to bring out the same meal again, as I ate barely any of the first attempt, this was obviously not an offer I relished. Eventually the manager put the phone down on me. One lost customer, I wouldn't recommend to anybody!

Heard it was under new management so I gave it another go. Think they kept the same chef though. Still awful. The overload of gelatine in everything my it slide into the bin extra easy.
