Excellent ,friendly , fantastic food Daughter coeliac and loves special fried rice gluten free ... Food always hot ,plenty of it Clean, professional and I wouldn't go any where else for our Chinese Best one in area by far .....

I ordered here last night with my girlfriend and thought the food looked okay and smelt very good on the way home. We had a special fried rice, a egg fried rice and a salt and pepper box. While eating i thought the food was quite pleasant but then last night I was uncontrollably sick... cold sweating and shivering. Today I can bearly walk as my stomach is in absolutely turmoil. I feel weak and ill and have contacted 111 and they have confirmed that I have food poisoning. Please, if the restaurant is reading this then take a look inside your kitchen and check all safety requirements are being met with the correct storage, preparation and used by dates are being adhered to regarding the food. I am in such a bad way today and am scared. I believe the issue maybe with the prawns as I ate those in the rice where as my girlfriend did not and she is fine.

Great food, always up to standard. But a big thank you to the lovely young lady who answers the phone at the weekend. She is always so lovely, a credit to the business. I can't fault the delivery drivers too.

dreadful spent good money on a takeaway , was bland, tasteless, poor quality all round, feel gutted that you spend hard earned money on a meal which hasn't been prepared as nicely as you would expect, must be improved, sorry to submit this poor review

Owner was rude. Took a 45 pound deposit. 5 pounds each. Booked for 10. One couldn’t attend. She said she told me this would be the case and the deposit would be kept, yet I have no recollection of this taking place. Took 5 pounds back for person that didn’t turn up even though the table was full. Food and waiting on staff were pleasant. Yet felt eyes were constantly watching. Before even ordered drinks, the lady believed to be owner came up to us and stated the table would be needed back at 8pm due to another party rudely. Won’t be returning in the future. Was very disappointing considering prior service at china dragon has always been good.

The overall experience was awful.we reserved a table for four people. They messed up where we were sitting. Staff were run off their feet as it was very busy. So we were expecting the food to be good. But it was terrible. Sodden in grease and barely cooked. I ordered a soup which was the worst soup I have ever smelt or tasted in my life! Service was very slow. It took ages for our drinks to arrive. Barely any starters available for vegetarians. We will not be returning.

Fantastic to talk to excellent food and amazing value my favourite place for food thats filling and delicious the staff are lovely and pleasant i consider this place to be my favourite

The fried rice chips and curry deal is a belly filler. Good price, great taste. The BBQ ribs and sweet and sour chicken is worth a try.

Great food as always - our regular chinese even though it's not the closest. I love being able to watch your order being cooked.

I normally order from a different Take Away, but they are currently closed, so I thought I'd try Peking Palace as I live locally ... I always order Special Chow Mein without onions, so that's what I tried here and it was a real disappointment ... the pork was chunks of tinned ham, I got one prawn, I think there might have been some beef and chicken but I couldn't identify it, however, I did get a few (possibly 4 slithers) of unidentified meat so I'll hazard a guess that was supposed to be chicken and or beef; the noodle were dry & largely tasteless. The Prawn Crackers (free with orders over a set amount) were good - they tasted like prawns and melted in your mouth. My daughter had Salt & Pepper Chips - they had no salt or pepper but they tasted of cinnamon, she couldn't eat them because they were sweet, not savoury. My daughter said the Peking Duck and Mini Spring Rolls were quite nice - in all fairness it did. look pretty good too. To be fair I won't be ordering from Peking Palace again, I could probably do a better job of the chow mein myself & prawn crackers from the supermarket are quite tasty. I will say the delivery driver was lovely, very friendly and jovial.
