Always use for Chinese takeaway…food is always piping hot, flavourful and on time if not early! Their prawn toast, satay chicken, yuk sung or any starters are always great.

Always good service prices and food

Service is slow, probably on purpose to save money, staff seemed very friendly though. Have to pay extra for duck, not a normal thing. Will go further out (Sheffield) next time. Food as expected.

I'm new to Chesterfield, but I've been a purveyor of high-quality Chinese food for many years. My fiance suggested the Dynasty. I was starving, and I wasn't disappointed. I ordered wonton Soup, which has become impossible to get these days. The quality of the dumplings (wontons) was exquisite, as was the soup. The salt and 🌶 chilli dry spare ribs were cooked well. Tender and juicy. The special curry had some nice meats 🍖 in it. The chicken and beef were delicious; I could care less for the curry sauce that the food sat in; it wasn't high quality. The vegetables were good crispy crunchy and plentiful. And finally, one of my favourite dishes. Singapore chilli Vermicelli special noodles 🍜 with mixed meat and vegetables. This was cooked to perfection in every way. I would highly recommend this restaurant. And to top it all, I ordered a takeout. This restaurant is an all-you-can-eat. Normally, all you can eat restaurants in my previous experience offer low quality foods that have been sitting around for a while or food cooked earlier that nobody has eaten yet. I have a restaurant near me in Ollerton called the Paddi fields. Their food is always low quality and tasteless. Not the case at Dynasty; everything was cooked fresh and ready in 10 minutes.

Went in on a Bank Holiday and the wait for our buffet food was long as we were later told they were busy with take away orders. But enjoyed it. I’ve gone back again for the buffet only to be told it’s a minimum of 2 people. It can’t be due to portions being shared as they were for individuals, so doesn’t look like I will be going back

My daughter and I visited this Chinese tonight. It wasn't very busy,but we were asked to take a seat until our table was ready. We ordered the vegetarian meal for2. The starters arrived promptly. They were very ordinary and tasteless. Then, we waited and waited and waited. After over half an hour I went to ask where our food was. Others nearby were getting plate after plate of food. It arrived quickly after I'd complained. It was very bland and I really didn't like it. The service was appalling and food only just edible. It was meant to be a treat, instead I was annoyed with how much it cost me to be disappoint

Bang on time at our requested delivery time, food was as amazing as always, blows any other Chinese takeaway out of the water, proper quality restaurant quality food, delicious!!!!!!!

Food really good, all you can eat reasonable value. Staff lovely & friendly. Would’ve been nice if they asked if we wanted more food before we’d finished, so the sauces would still be warm when next batch arrived. But only a minor niggle. Will definitely come here again.

The food was lovely, the only downfall was that they put my can off pop in with the food instead of on its own, so when I opened it to have a drink it was warm and warm coke doesn't taste good

I used to visit this restaurant 25 years ago, then it was fabulous. Now definitely not. The décor was the same 25 years ago. Food was shocking! Curry was tasteless and like water. Starter shocking , very greasy. In fact all the food was absolutely dreadful. Waitresses were friendly, unfortunately the service was extremely poor, had to wait ages to be served, only 2 families in the restaurant. Restaurant very cold inside on arrival. There's absolutely nothing good to say about the whole experience. The meal was a complete waste of money and time. I certainly would never return there again, best avoided. There are plenty of good restaurants in Chesterfield and this is certainly not one of them.

Brilliant, food was all lovely, warm, fresh and absolutely delicious. Service was great, drinks, food etc all ordered extremely promptly, food came out very quickly too. I was worried after reading the reviews on here, but I can honestly say, I had the opposite experience to what I have read in some reviews. Will definitely be going again ☺️

I’ve been going here for 25 years and I love the family that run it so much. However it’s now at a point that I now need to call out that this Chinese is on it way to close, based on the takeaway I have just collected. I am not going to review every dish because they were all really bad. The best bit was the prawn toast. I hope the family read this with the best intentions behind it and can resolve this before it’s too late. My predication is up for sale or a closed sign. OR they get their heads together and fix this before it’s too late. A few pointers- All you can eat cheap is not good Chinese. Maybe review what canton orchard is/was and how you started the dynasty business. ATB J

The food which was all you can eat was well below the standards I would expect. And the service was also poor as when we walked in we had 4 waitresses just looking at us not knowing what to do with us. Along time waiting for food,we had to ask for cutlery and 20 pounds for drinks which was 3 cokes, one lime soda and a orange soda. Will be very unenthusiastic to step foot in the restaurant again.

Takeaway for family. Quickly arrived but very poor food, all bland to say the least however one of the duck dishes contained what looks like entirely burnt scraps of duck including a spine. No actual duck meat to eat. I tried to call to explain this dish just wasn't edible but the lady basically said I was wrong. Terrible service, no accountability at all and when I tried to order another dish she said no were too busy now. Sadly we had to return the dish in person. The staff was very rude, unprofessional with no accountability shown at all. Do better.

1hr 50mins from order to delivery. Finally arrived 30mins after calling the restaurant and was told it would be 5mins.

A waste of £40 !! Very late delivery of less than average cold food. I won’t be making a second order. So frustrating as it was meant to be to weekend treat.

Very expensive for food but it was a special occasion. Lovely food but kept getting order wrong and waiting at least 20 minutes for each item of food ordered so took 2 hour to just have the food. Not organised to how they serve the tables but staff are lovely and friendly. We only had half order come so asked for it then got things that we had not ordered. I would go again as i do love the food and like a bit of everything but not worth the money for what you can actually eat as takeaway for a family of 4 is around £30 but here paying £25 each. Never experienced service that slow there before.

Always superb food, wonderful service and lovely staff. My favourite Chinese restaurant. I go at least once a week and have done for several years. Their takeaways are excellent too with an efficient delivery service. Excellent and highly recommended.

Been our go to Chinese since moving to Chesterfield, some of their dishes are outstanding , some we wouldn’t order again, I’d recommend the satey chicken to start it’s some of the best we have ever tasted , the mixed starters are lovely too, beef in black bean , chicken in ginger and spring onion are the 2 best mains for me, food is always piping hot and fresh. Never eaten in but could possibly one day.

Freezing cold took 2 and a half hours to come, absolutely terrible was clearly forgotten about

Came for all you can eat and we were only ones in the restaurant and at peak, there were 3 other tables in use whilst we were there (12 diners in total) however service was extremely slow - had to wait 20 mins to give order. Food when it came was average and very small portions - ordered mussels and got 1 each. I get that waste can be an issue on places like this, however would be good to get more than a small taste of each dish Food was average, however service and snack size portions being it down

Seen quite a few reviews complaining about food and service, gotta say that's not my experience at all. Every dish tasted great, servers were all nice, there was a bit of a wait for starters, but but not terrible. After that all dishes came in a timely manner, definitely will go again

Normally very good and a 5 rating, but unfortunately both noodle dishes were not up to the usual standard. Rice vermicelli didn’t have much flavour and the chow mien was excessively salty.

Shocking, food took forever to come out, and was very sporadicwhen it did its was cold and not what we'd ordered, didn't get half the things we ordered, told 2 waitresses food was cold and the manageress told us we were lying the food wasn't cold!!! Not a clue on customer service, asked the waitress too tell the manageress about issues, she never did and denied ever being asked!! It used to be the best place in Chesterfield for Chinese food, sadly I think its had its day, will not be going back

Absolutely a disgrace, £24.99 per adult to order starters 2 people got 1 platter when ordered separate items, my partner got 1 of his starter and I got nothing from my starter, mains came I got nothing yet again complained about it and got chicken balls and egg fried rice, others that ordered got bits and bobs of what they had ordered! Won’t be going again and definitely wouldn’t recommend people going here. Poor value for money and half of staff didn’t have a clue what we were on about when complaining.

Had a take away tonight from here , normally find it nice , but today , the food came with 2 hairs in the food , are staff not wearing hair nets ? Rang , and they said they would speak to the manager to see what they can do , and never got back in contact with me .

Absolutely disgusted by this place we wanted to go out for a nice meal after a celebration only to be served nasty food and mouldy chips when confronted about it staff did not care at all wasn't even going to take anything off the bill also knowing I gave these chips to my 9 year old and 20 month old luckily I was the one who had the mouldy chip in my mouth! All she could say was its not my folt and haven't you ever had bad food somewhere els before absolutely disgraceful vile place not professional or even sorry about the whole thing shame on you!
