Always superb food, wonderful service and lovely staff. My favourite Chinese restaurant. I go at least once a week and have done for several years. Their takeaways are excellent too with an efficient delivery service. Excellent and highly recommended.

Been our go to Chinese since moving to Chesterfield, some of their dishes are outstanding , some we wouldn’t order again, I’d recommend the satey chicken to start it’s some of the best we have ever tasted , the mixed starters are lovely too, beef in black bean , chicken in ginger and spring onion are the 2 best mains for me, food is always piping hot and fresh. Never eaten in but could possibly one day.

Had a great meal with friends, but unfortunately it was quite cool in the restaurant which spoilt things. It was absolutely perishing outside so I suppose that didn't help. This will not stop us returning.

Ordered a takeaway, the curry was bland to say the least !!! Very dissatisfied..

Seen some bad reviews online, so was a bit sceptical, visited last night for my daughter's birthday. Everything really good excellent food and plenty of it. Excellent service.

Seen quite a few reviews complaining about food and service, gotta say that's not my experience at all. Every dish tasted great, servers were all nice, there was a bit of a wait for starters, but but not terrible. After that all dishes came in a timely manner, definitely will go again

Not 'eaten in' yet, nor 'all you can eat', but takeaways are fantastic, and picking them up the staff are always friendly and helpful.

Had a take away tonight from here , normally find it nice , but today , the food came with 2 hairs in the food , are staff not wearing hair nets ? Rang , and they said they would speak to the manager to see what they can do , and never got back in contact with me .

The food was nice and the staff were pleasant but the dishes didn't arrive at the same time and there could be long waiting times between each dish.

Absolutely disgusted by this place we wanted to go out for a nice meal after a celebration only to be served nasty food and mouldy chips when confronted about it staff did not care at all wasn't even going to take anything off the bill also knowing I gave these chips to my 9 year old and 20 month old luckily I was the one who had the mouldy chip in my mouth! All she could say was its not my folt and haven't you ever had bad food somewhere els before absolutely disgraceful vile place not professional or even sorry about the whole thing shame on you!

Highly recommend the all you can eat menu good size portions reasonable prices 5 stars

Can't really give a positive review as we waited over an hour just for starters and ending up leaving due to the kids being unsettled with the waiting time. Still got charged £76 for a few starters and drinks so not a good experience

Found this restaurant by accident 6 years ago & we were thoroughly impressed with the food/service & atmosphere then. Retuned again this year and was just as impressed, the service was great and the food was absolutely fantastic! Will be back again next year!!

Walked in to be shown to our seats by 2 very friendly members of staff. After ordering drinks we started our food order 1- portion of prawn toast 2- fried rice with beef and king prawns 3- sizzling filet steak with pepper source 4- stair fried king prawn 5- stair fried Chinese mushrooms The prawn sesame toast was horrible chicken toast when asked I was told it’s mix of chicken and prawn That’s was evidently not true just horrible processed chicken awful just awful The staff said they will take it off the bill Fine I guess, but I wanted some sesame toast The rice was tasteless over cooked snippets of beef and tiny prawn when the order was for king prawn Filet steak ? What terrible excuse for boiled cheep cut of beef boiling in gravy and onion source it was the same pre cooked horrible meet they sprinkled on the fried rice The other dishes were just disgusting gravy pored all over with soya or oyster source for flavour We did not touch much of it and left after paying the bill The only way you would eat this kind or horrific excuse for Chinese food is if you are so drunk you would eat mud and think it it was tasty The owners should be ashamed of themselves selling this disgusting gravy and onion tasteless garbage. The place is always 3/4 empty And I am shocked to find anyone willing to eat there despite the nice staff for a 2nd time What a waste of effort I am sure they can do better but too scared to lose the few that walking for the gravy and onion horror show Never again

Absolutely amazing honestly 10/10 for food best I've ever had not lying been here a few times this was the best I've ever had from here don't know what they don different but DAMN it was amazing only slight downside was the wait for food was a little long but can't blame them they were busy

Lovely 🍋 lemon chicken and rice. Restaurant visit was my first time. It was warm and inviting and the waitress was very polite. Food came quickly and tasted lovely. I'll be back again soon.

Really disappointed with our experience here. The food was very bland & dishes lacking description on the menu. Not worth the £50 we spent on our food. We definitely didn’t eat our moneys worth. Shall not be returning & we were a large table who all agreed.

Meal not very good spare ribs now chopped up into little pieces prawn toast fried in pork fat service diabolical and at times abrupt and unfriendly over priced wouldn't go again. Took 50 min to get our first course and it came out 1 plate at a time would not recomend

Don’t go on a weekend! We booked a table for 10 people for 6pm. By 8pm we hadn’t ordered mains. I had to go to the bar to ask someone to take our order. They were accepting walk ins and not seating the booked tables at 8pm. Service was extremely slow and staff didn’t really know how to cope. I mentioned that we wasn’t happy with the service and that we had waited a good while to give our mains order. A drinks order was also placed and needed two reminders after 10 minutes that we still hadn’t got the drinks. I asked for the bill and it came to £320. After the very poor service and being in the restaurant for 3 and a half hours, I asked for a discount on the bill. There was absolutely no movement on this and we was left to pay the full amount. The lady who spoke to us said that because it was a Saturday they was busy. I explained that maybe they should have stopped walk in service until the restaurant had been served and she certainly didn’t agree. I’ve given a 2 star as most of the food was lovely. It didn’t all arrive at the same time but did all come in the end. I have also attended this place in a less busy night and found the service to be much better. The table next to us walked out after starters because of the service. I would certainly not return at the weekend because of this.

The starters were ok but the mains especially the rice and noodles was very greasy to the point we're we couldn't eat them.deffo not worth the £23.99 price tag

Just poor. Rubbish service level and bang average food. We had to leave after 1.5 hours as mains still hadn’t arrived. Not worth the 23.99 they were expecting to charge. Multiple other tables also having issues. Won’t be returning.

We come at least once or twice a month for the last 3 years and we have never ever had an issue, the food is always hot fresh and tastes amazing , the staff always welcome us and fuss over the baby, can’t wait to return again soon.

Very cold inside the restaurant they need some heat on as people sat with coats on! Very slow and poor service Starters are okay but nothing special at all. Main course awful Not worth the money won’t be going again and I don’t recommend this Chinese restaurant.

Been going around 5 years at least once a month. Unfortunately the last few times we haven't been happy with the service or food. On our last visit we bought this to their attention when paying and unfortunately said we weren't happy to pay the full amount of the bill. Issues that were raised were... Very slow service. We helped ourselves to a high chair as we weren't provided one after been asked if we needed one. The prawn crackers and dip were put on the table next to us, again after 15 minutes we helped ourselves. We were the first in and the last served for drinks and starters almost half an hr of been seated. £3.75 for a pint of rola cola (used to be Coca-Cola originally) noted them of this and just ended up asking for water. Glass of water arrived with bits all at the bottom. 1st round of starters were ok but were missing a few items requested. 2nd round over salty inedible ended up leaving most. After almost 2 hours and only getting the above our toddler began getting restless and so did we so we decided to leave and bring it to their attention. Said we weren't happy to pay the full bill in the end we were barred and threatened us with the police 🙃

absolute rubbish chicken was plain in the chow mien and chicken fried rice half therice in the egg fried rice was still white not even had flavour on it. Chips were soft and taste like chewing into some soggy biscuit i dipped in my tea to long.The chicken also had no taste to it and tasted like plastic

They have a wastage policy where an extra charge for any food wasted will be charged extra. While I understand the reason they do this. The menu is somewhat lacking in description meaning when ordering the food you maybe ordering something that's not to your taste when you get it. As you can see from the pictures below the chicken skewers are covered in a thick gluppy sauce but no where on the menu does it state that it includes a sauce. This is pretty much the same throughout the menu. The menu and the venue could do with been modernised and fresh approach is deffently needed Credit is always given where credit is due and the jiu yuen king prawn ( translation king prawn in al ight Chilli and Garlic Batter is a fairly pleasant dish The Jiu Yuen squid isn't as nice and is really chewy and bland. I noticed a fly 🪰 floating in my glass of coke.

Shocking arrived at 6.30pm didn’t leave till 10.30pm only 2 tables full all evening ours and another party of 8 service terrible… plates of food very very small never actually got a full complete order and went away hungry this place has gone down hill so so much…will not be returning…. Such a shame

Asked for boiled rice 3 times still dint get any, the plates had more sauce than food, if u actually want anything I suggest u ask for 3x plates to get a decent portion to share, the people was lovely but shame paying £17.99 each and £8.99 per child for me to leave not full to say it was all you can eat, wouldn't recommend

The last time we had a takeaway it was disgusting.

The staff are always very friendly and make time to speak to my daughter, husband and myself. We have been coming for over 6 years now as we always enjoy the food. We normally have the all you can eat buffet, there Is a very good selection to choose from. Well worth a visit.

Went last night, pants. Was freezing when we walked in, food was out straight away. Had to wrestle with chicken because it was clearly from night before. Waiter running round like a headless chicken while I presume who was the boss stood shivering at bar. Food is normally good. Pants this time. Overall 1 star

Food arrived cold after waiting an hour 15 which is fair enough when busy, tried heating the chips up myself but they were gone stale and the chicken balls were pink, called and asked for just one portion of chips at least to be sent and they refused. Spending £20 on a Chinese to not even eat any of it. Appalling customer service.

After 25 years using and recommending this restaurant I ordered a meal for delivery which arrived without rice, (mistakes happen) my wife rang and was hung up on because she was too slow finding our order code for the man on the other end. I rang and asked for the manager, was told I was speaking to him (same guy), he then passed me to a lady who said the manager was not at work and they were too busy to supply my entire meal warm within the next hour but could have the rice (to eat with cold food) in 40 minutes, she was laughing at me and found it all very funny. I won’t starve (perspective) but will no longer recommend. Good luck to all who order.

Large portions and good value tasty duck. Some of the dishes lacked some flavour - the chicken cashew for example. Standard Chinese, nothing special.

My daughter and her friends went Friday for her friends birthday, the food was cold and the chicken which my daughter bitten in to was black and when she complained and told them that she wasn’t happy and she wasn’t paying for the food they wouldn’t let them leave until they did. See pic , the black in the chicken was all the way through and it was like rubber. My daughter and her friends who are only 16 was scared in to paying for food they couldn’t eat as they was basically not letting them leave until they had. Check other reviews on Facebook to on how bad the food is and the service. They have stopped you leaving reviews now on Facebook to. Stay away

Great Chinese restaurant. Starters are the best. Staff are very friendly. Lots of space. We popped in with large group of 16 and they were able to accommodate us at short notice. Where else in Chesterfield would you find this?

Friday 21st January first time at the Dynasty restaurant went with a party of 8 would definitely recommend this restaurant cannot fault the food, and the staff one of the best nights I've had for a while will be going again in the near future food spot on but the decor could do with a up update

Had a delivery take away. Not cheap but HUGE portions so enough to freeze and have another day so well worth it

top notch prawn crackers and veggie spring rolls

Terrible! Hardly any food came out two portions of chicken balls consisted of 2 chicken balls & no sauce! We had to keep asking for the rest of our food & didn’t bother ordering more because you couldn’t get the staffs attention & it took so long to come & hardly anything was right. Food was cold, we asked repeatedly for drinks & finally got them with our main course.We won’t be going back an awful meal & total waste of time & money!

Absolutely terrible! Table service with no service, ordered duck alongside the all you can eat menu and it never came out. No apology from the staff, cancelled that and ordered the mains and again that never came aswell! They did offer us a free chocolate though when we cancelled everything and just paid for the drinks Won’t be going again

Went Saturday with our son and daughter in law and took the open menu option, this was nice as the portions were not to over facing and it allowed us to try a range of dishes which were delicious and well presented. Couldn't really fault it to be honest and will definitely return soon.

Food was average it was edible apart from crispy beef which was worst i ever tasted. Biggest problem was portion and price. Very expensive spent 40 on a few dishes and it didnt even feed 3 adults and 1 child portion sizes where very small when arrived at home i was highly dissapointed. I will never return

Very busy, had takeaway, was told what time to arrive, took another 45mins before food eventually arrived.....that busy food wasn't cooked properly.......not up to their usual standard
