Good food very tasty but not much meat

Apparently my food has been delivered... but I'm still waiting

food was slightly late but the driver did apologise and they also gave us some free spring rolls as an apology. The food was piping hot and was lovely. Will definitely be returning

The first and probably the best Chinese that I will ever have the prawn crackers tasted amazing and the chow mein was a banger! And I saw this young gentleman who carried this aura and he was very kind and friendly. I suggest for you to go in this takeaway it is absolutely amazing and the food is delicious!

Bought the veggie hot and sour soup with a side order crispy fried seaweed and some prawn crackers!! Really yummy will be back again 😁 owners are lovely cannot fault. Five stars.

Ordered last night and have been unwell ever since! I tried to get a refund through Just Eat which they won’t do, I usually love the food from here but sadly won’t be ordering again after last night!

It says 1.5 ltr of diet coke but your delivering 1.25ltr bottles, it's bad enough pushing up prices, sell the correct sized bottle for the right price and deliver it.

Sad to say the worse Chinese we have had for years ! Our usual Chinese was not taking orders as too busy so chose this one although never had one from here before …. So wish I hadn’t ! I look forward to Saturdays take away all week and this was so disappointing. Although the food was hot it was SO dry, the salt and pepper chips were hard, overcooked and low on flavour, the rice was dry and bland flavour and the salt and pepper fried beef was so overcooked and dry it was barely edible !

the taste of the chow main was so off and the chicken wings were burnt and oily. it went in the bin. first and last time ordering.

The chicken balls could have done with a little longer being cooked they wasn’t crispy at all didn’t eat them. Sausages are also not worth £2.40 they are out the freezer

I am sorry to say but not only was my order incorrect it did go into the bin . The rice was cold and hard . The chips was so dry and cold they could not be eaten . The chicken balls were ok as such . I requested the crispy chicken to be cooked in peking sauce and it was sent in sweet and sour . To say I ordered a treat I regret that I have wasted £24.00.

Their version of salt & pepper isn’t like any others I’ve had, and I wouldn’t have it again. It was sweet as if they used Chinese 5 spice containing cinnamon. Also the sweet and sour had a high vinegar content. Besides that, the food was very fresh and delivery was 30 mins early on a Saturday night. I would try here again, but order something different.

We normally love our food from Jade’s Kitchen however, tonight the chips and chicken were incredibly dry & the crackers were stale. This was extremely disappointing as we always order repeatedly from this restaurant.

Sorry to be writing this review. It's the first and last time of using this chinese takeaway service, the food was disgusting! I ordered crispy chicken wings with salt & pepper, chips and curry sauce, the chicken was 3 wings and 3 drumsticks (I think) chips and chicken looked and tasted as if they'd been cooked at least half a dozen times! and the sauce tasted powdery no sign of curry taste! It all went in the bin. Delivery was quite quick maybe because the food was left over from yesterday!

Awful. salt and pepper chips purely just chips chucked in ten ton of Chinese spice. Not edible. Same with salt & pepper chicken. Chicken chow mein was ok. Curry sauce was so sweet we couldn’t eat it. Sickly sweet. The spring rolls were frozen in the middle still. It’s a no from us.

deliver driver was rude as anything shouted at me and once he had given me my food he then threw his heat bag in the car and sped off

Early delivery but food freezing on arrival hardly anything eaten

The pork chow mein contained a pitiful amount of meat. Out of curiosity I separated the pork and found 10-15 “bits”. Took a pic to complain but what’s the point. Crispy wontons contained barely a smear of filling, rest of the house platter was ok. Pot of curry sauce was more jelly like than sauce and far too sweet which I only discovered after pouring it on my “pork” chow mein, so didn’t eat any of it. Crispy chicken in satay sauce was very nice apparently. Poor quality and value.

Some dishes were good (chow mein/rice) but others not so good. The prawns were overcooked and a little tough and the batter on the roast chicken wasn’t a nice taste at all. A bit of a mixed bag.

Nice food had the mix box and special fried rice only negative didn’t seem to have any sauce

Brought it to our hotel and phoned when they arrived so we could collect it. Thank you

food was amazing taste sensation can't fault that shredded chicken is one of if the tastiest things I ever had sweet and sour sauce amazing but let us not forget the delivery driver getting the food here like it was seconds out the pan, best delivery driver ever and you will look after him, he has earned you a new customer

The food was very nice just a shame I ordered beef in black bean sauce but ended up with mixed meat and prawn in black bean sauce

Food was amazing tasted fantastic.. bit of confusion with my order as I 1st ordered a chicken chow mein and mixed meat chow mein was told chow mein was dry so they cancelled my order then ordered 2 jade kitchen chow meins as they come with sauce but received my 1st order instead which came with extra sauce .. but don't let this put you off the food was early , very hot and very tasty indeed

Food was late, for which the driver apologised for. Nice chips, everything was hot, but two mains were dull, no veg, not even an onion in mine and really gelatinous sauces. Obviously too much thickening agent used which made it slimy and disgusting.

VERY greasy and bags it came in were drenched from it. Salt and pepper chicken was too much five spice chicken balls rough and soggy. Chow mein was fine tho

First time ordering from here , I just wany to firstly commend the delivery driver because food was here piping hot thanks bruv, chicken and chips salt n pepper was so nice and the chicken wings were cooked to perfection for battered style coated my preference is non battered but that's just my likings so aside from that no complaints next time I order il be trying your king prawn balls se how they fair

Had green Thai curry - was absolutely delicious!

Arrived way early than due. First time ordering, for the price I expected better. The honey chilli sauce was lovely but was to runny, barely covered the container bottom & cold!! Salt & pepper chips were awful, egg fried rice overcooked. Very dissatisfied.

Ordered from here on the off chance, place dosent look amazing from the outside but wow the food is beautiful, traditionally cooked, fresh ingredients along with auick delivery! The driver David was patient (our house isnt easy to find) and a clearly conscious guy in endevouring for us to get our meal nice and hot! Lovely family meal and can highly reccomend 5 starts all around. Will be back again to this little gem of a place. Thankyou

We used to have chinese from here years ago,it was delicious unfortunately now it's the worst chinese food we've ever had.

Thank you for delivering in difficult local conditions. Food was okay , but gloopy and stogey. Quality could be better.

Lovely chow meins, not too much sauce, healthy amount of king prawns, piping hot food, quality containers, quite pricey though wish they did a small size.

Food is always hot and delicious with generous portion sizes. More expensive than other local restaurants but well worth the extra money

Absolutely flawless, cannot fault. I'd go beyond the maximum rating if I could, because yesterday, while so many other takeaways failed everyone, Jade's Kitchen and their absolute legend of a delivery driver pulled through. Appreciate it and won't forget it.

Rank the ribs were just bone no meat on them. I'm assuming the fried pastry are ment to have a something in middle they were just fried pastry. Very bland food not worth money at all.

The food was ok - sweet and sour chicken very nice but the noodles have a very different taste, maybe the oil they use? Also, we spent £40 and you don't include prawn crackers which I thought was a poor touch. Dont think we'll go back.

Appallingly bad food. Chicken Foo Yung was grainy scrambled eggs (think they used 1 egg) with no seasoning or flavour, 2/3rds went in the bin. Chicken wings were not hot and spicy as advertised and dumped in half inch of grease. Prawn with bamboo shoots and water chestnuts. Bamboo shoots were more like bamboo trunk (massive slimy pieces we couldn’t eat) Received free veg spring rolls without anything to dip them in but no prawn crackers. Struggling with spending £39.60 to get no prawn crackers. Good hygiene rating might be 5 but quality and attention to detail struggles to achieve 1. Food delivered way ahead of time notified. Would have preferred it to be delivered at the time stated so they could use the time to prepare decent food. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again

The noodles weren’t vermicelli and there was hardly any meat in the dish. I used to use Jade garden years ago before I moved away and loved it unfortunately I won’t be using it again

Delicious, piping hot food - even got a free bag of mini spring rolls, which is a nice touch. Food arrived very early, but that was welcome because originally the time given was over 1.5 hours!

Delivered wrong meal then when they resolved it they just swapped the meals round and my food was cold and missing items.
