The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Chinese food

Recently revisited this takeaway. The food is substandard and not worth the money. There was nothing special about there special fried rice or special chow mein, the odd prawn and tiny flecks of meat. The beef in the black bean sauce was tough and the texture of the chicken chicken in the black bean sauce was slimy/greasy.

Really lovely food, great customer service and nice atmosphere when waiting to collect. Highly recommend.

Worst Chinese takeaway we have ever had. Overpriced and in the bin. Beef curry horrible, beef tough. Chicken awful. Chips hard and scrappy. Fried rice, brown? Only recommendation, go somewhere else.

WOW! WOW! WOW! Ordered from here, for a friend and myself, after moving in to the area. The platter for two and the smoke corn chicken was excellent, hot, prompt ordering, and delivery was faultless. Will be back for more delicious food and brilliant service.

Took over an hour and a half to be delivered, chips were soggy and Luke warm, bbq chicken with bean sprouts was awful, chicken was like cardboard, no bbq sauce, and stone cold. Tried ringing but kept getting voicemail.

Best Chinese in Stoke/Moorlands. The chinese takeaways in Werrington are rubbish, thankfully Golden Bowl deliver to us and they are great. Nice food, good price and fast delivery.

We have been staying in the area and decided to try Shun Fat out. On our 1st visit we had a Cinese....egg fried rice, lemon chicken and sweet and sour chicken balls. We had to wait about 15-20 minutes as the place was packed. Very reasonably priced and better than any other I've tasted. On the 2nd visit we had fishcake, chips and battered sausages. Again delicious. The staff are so friendly and happy. There was also good banter between the staff and the owner "Richie" (I think that is his name). I have no hesitation in recommending this place....A**

This restaurant never fails to impress, ordered food for all family as a takeaway and have enough left over for the day after, nice big portions, quality of food is second to none, salt and pepper dishes were seasoned just right, the 15 minute dirve to collect is well worth it

First time trying this Chinese takeaway. The food was excellent, delivered on time and reasonably priced. the Crispy duck is especially good value. We will be back!

Ordered Chinese for two for collection. Quick 20 minute timeframe. Food super tasty and hot in temperature when picked up. Spending some time in the area between Christmas and New Year and was a lovely meal when on holiday. Would visit again if in the area.

Inedible meal for 2 which we shared between 3 with the addition of some mini vegetable rolls. The bang bang chicken was ok. The mini veg rolls were passable. The main meals were disgusting all gloopy & congealed. All went in the bin. A complete waste of £30 When I phoned later to complain I was told there’s nothing we can do. Never again - in fact it’s put me right off Chinese for some some time now

This was an order for take away using uber eats on the 31st of December the order was placed at 18:34 and finally left paklock at 2030 (so almost 2 hours later) it was not the uber eats drivers faults as 7 drivers went to collect the first 6 all found the restaurant had not even started to cook the order. The 7th driver waited till the order was prepared. I called when the 5th driver advised ne to call the restaurant and was met with rudeness and a blaza attitude to well we well start cooking it now it just got missed not our fault??? Disappointed is far from the word I would use paklock was a tradition for me a my family around christmas growing up in Harlow and I no longer live here bit I'm in Harlow for new years with my family so thought I would order from the old traditional favourite for myself while we all ordered food from different places of what we wanted to eat everyone else had their food come from restaurants they ordered from and had eaten it and then eaten dessert and our film had finished by the tine my food was delivered and I ate alone. To add insult the food was cold and portion size was poor and one of the dishes was wrong I got my refund via uber eats but will very sadly not reorder again from paklock when in Harlow in future as the standard have dropped far from what they used to be. I strongly advise anyone to reconsider ordering from here in future unless things are remedied with service, food quality, portion sizing and general operations that is unless you like cold food tgat leaves you hungry and takes over 2 hours to arrive.

We ordered a meal for 2 people whilst on holiday in Auchmithie, the girl on the phone was very polite, delivery was quick and the food was lovely. Highly recommend Golden City and will definitely order again. Top marks Golden City.
