Good value and decent portion sizes. Food quality quite good. Parking was not to much of a problem but may be an issue at busy times.

Awful. Greasy and cold fish and chips. Lady who seems to be in charge so unfriendly. They have monotony in village so no need to make any effort.

Serves traditional fish and chips and all chip shop food also a chinese menu, we ordered from both and was very yummy..... Would recommend...

Very good takeaway, excellent selection and everything the 5 of us had was nice. Would be good if they took cards/contactless for payment as the nearby cash machine charges for withdrawals.

Omg absolutely disgusting, rip off ordered special fried rice chips and curry sauce got 2 prawns, 3 pieces of cold duck fat and a piece of chicken (bitesize) avoid, avoid, avoid.

A very busy Chip shop and Chinese takeaway, when you order the time it will be ready is always adhered to, the food is first rate and as we go there regulary I can say it is good value for money and the standard is always the same. Excellent

Awful food and some food missing! Had the pork curry and most of the pork was gristle, prawn crackers missing and it was cold. Won’t be back, Avoid!

Friendly service and big portions of excellent food. Phoning is recommended as they are very busy which is a good sign.

Called the order in more than 24 hrs before hand as it was New Year’s Eve,order was to be collected at 6pm,arrived to find about 20 people standing outside also waiting ,the girl serving was very rude,had to stand out in the cold for over an hour,overheard the girl serving telling another customer that they had ran out of food!People arriving after us got their food before us,no organisation at all,stop shafins.

The chips were cold the batter on the fish was so thick & overcooked you couldn't cut it and the little piece of fish inside the batter was cremated, the curry sauce was the worst ever, £7.00 down the Swanee never again,

Ordered the meals over the phone and picked up at time specified by us(cash only) the meals were of a very good quality and very enjoyable the price was very good also.

Food is always fantastic,offer fish and chips and Chinese so great of someone in the family fancies either one. The food never disappoints, with covid find it better to order and arrive earlier,as if theirs a queue outside you'll be waiting for that to go down before you get your order. Staff are always kind and polite . Lovely treat every now and again since finding here finding it hard to top it anywhere else.onlu two can enter and they don't take card,so make sure you have cash,if not there is a shop up the road with an ATM . So make sure you have cash before you go and if you call they will tell you how much .

We were very disappointed with the food, it was poor quality. I have never had boiled chicken that was pale and insipid looking in a chow mien before. The special Fried was like nothing I had ever seen, it was a small layer of rice covered with boiled soggy vegetables in a strange juice, with added lumps of boiled chicken skin!! The king prawn and cashew nut dish was basically 5 prawns, 4 halves of cashew nuts and a load of cubes of vegetables in stock, runny and tasteless. This will be the first time ever that we have thrown away left over chinese. We would never use them for anything again

Never disappointed. Had the meal for two and there was more than enough food and it was very cheap. Everything was cooked lovely!

Quick efficient and COVID compliant Chinese take away - also looked amazing fish and chips. We had chow mien, Kung Po chicken and chicken curry (like a katsu). Good portion sizes and great value for money.

Called in and ordered as couldn't find a menu online anywhere to pre order! We had the set meal and found everything to be delicious. The spring roll starters were a bit tiny with not much filling but we had added a hot and sour soup that was good. No complaints about the mains though, would recommend. Parking is an issue, so would recommend ringing the order through (will try to upload the menu!) and it's CASH only so he prepared.

I tried this Chinese again after they served me a hard battered fish because I did like there prawn curry until tonight when all the family sat down for our dinner when we unwrapped it my partner always ordered noodle dish and got beansprouts dish instead he finds noodle easier to eat after having throat cancer so wasn't happy then the worst thing was my daughter found a black curly hair in the crispy seaweed that totally put me and her of our dinner . My partner phoned the Chinese and they offered for there mistake a free pot of seaweed unbelievable. Bever going g again feel sick .

Lot of choice, most dishes tried are satisfactory on a w/e night. Pretty tasty and fairly comparable to other places nearby.

Absolutely terrible food that is being but in the microwave to reheat!When ordering your food it’s always ready in less than 10 mins. I could never understand why it was ready so quick until one day I seen it with my own eyes and the food was being reheated in a microwave and no fresh sizzling food going on in the takeaway whatso ever. Also ended up in hospital for 4 days after my last food from here with severe vomiting. Being a Chinese lover and eaten in many different places thIs is by far the worst experience I ever had. Diabolical.

sooo cheap compared to our prices back home! £5 for beef and black bean, 80p extra for noodles and HUGE portions too! Really enjoyed our takeout meal, would go back.

This take away shop is open Sundays when many other locations are closed or the few open ones are fully booked. In addition to fish and chips, they also have Chinese take away. We tried the latter. It was decent. The vegetables were fresh and the dishes not overly salted. They were also pretty quick to provide service.

The fact that this place is always busy speaks for itself. Lovely fresh prepared food. Reasonably priced. What more can i say. Its lovely food. Portions are good, authentic taste. Its a go to takeaway for the Caernarfon and bangor area

Whilst staying in the area we happened to pass the takeaway on the high street and decided to have a night in. We called in for a menu in the afternoon as the place is open at lunch time. The previous comments hinted that it was a busy place so we ordered in plenty of time around 19:30 and was given a collection time of one hour. We plumped for the set meal for two however requested that we swop one of the dishes for something different but actually cheaper in value on the menu. Surprisingly we were charged extra for this which is a first and smacked of a bit pointless and slightly greedy. For a large order some places throw in free prawn crackers or spring roll etc but all these were charged.When I went to collect, the takeaway was very busy with orders for both Chinese and fish and chips. The order was finally ready After a 20 min delay making it an 80 min wait for food..... possibly due to the popularity of the takeaway.The food itself was good. The starters of soup and the special banquet for two were excellent and the portion sizes admirable. I would definitely recommend it and would go again however I would order earlier unless you eat later.

Good standard of Chinese food served here. We always enjoy the meal. Never had a bad meal from here always been decent. Would recommend the salt and pepper king prawns !!!!

Came here tonight for a takeaway as it was a recommended place. It will be our last visit the food was awful.I orderd a special fried rice, the rice was like rice pudding and the meat was very unappealing. I wouldn't say it was cooked properly at all! Very disappointed as we travelled quiet far to get there and the staff just said that's the way they always cook it. Totally different to our usual and we've been to a lot of different places. Wouldn't recommend the special fried rice to anyone.

Heard great things about this place. We spent £40 on food and I would have been better off getting 4x fish and chips. Its a good chippy.

Chan’s is a much better chip shop than Chinese takeaway. The Chinese dishes that I’ve ordered almost always contain huge amounts of uncooked green pepper and onion. The vegetarian options are essentially a container of these part cooked veggies and really expensive when you compare with meat dish prices.

Had a chippy here twice in the past 6 weeks. I really enjoy it. Not too greasy and the large portions are really good. I've not eaten anything other than chips and sausage from here so Can't comment on the Chinese food. I will be giving it a try though.

We were struggling to find something to eat on our last day and had chinese. My dish which was King Prawns with ginger and garlic was lovely but my husbands chicken and cashew nuts was edible but not up to standard. The place was very busy so maybe we were just unlucky with his dish on that day.

Had a selection of chinese dishes all very tasty. Good size portions and not expensive. Didn't try the fish and chips so can't comment on that.

Had a Chinese main each and sundries as a takeaway. Very tasty with good portions ... Happy to use again.

Been here many times for a Chinese takeaway in the evening or fish and chips at lunchtime and have always rated them highly but came for a fish and chips at lunchtime and as the fish is normally cooked for me fresh I asked the proprietor if the fish available was fresh.She answered me in the positive and I also asked if the pie I purchased was also fresh and not last nights leftovers.She again answered me that it was.When I got it served out at home it was obvious that not the fish nor the pie was ?fresh bu obviously last nights.To say I was disappointed was an understatement especially as I had asked.But no matter,i will find another shop and try someone else.Why do these people try to con you and,indeed try to poison you I have no idea just for a few pounds

We have tried both the Chinese food and fish and chips, both awful. Fish swam in grease in a polystyrene box, special curry contained lumps of fatty meat. The owner is surely and very unfriendly, the only saving grace is the Welsh girl who takes the orders. The place you wait is grubby with a pile of papers in the corner.

We've bought meals from this establishment many times with the latest visit being 30/12/17. Once again an excellent meal, this time for 6. Absolutely wonderful. The boiled and fried rice are very tasty, the sweet and sour sauce which comes with the Chicken Balls and the Cantonese style sweet and sour chicken are to die for!!! Others had Duck in Plum sauce, Chilly Duck, Chicken Kung Po and the customary portion of chips all of which were excellent. We will most definitely be returning for many more very tasty meals, which are very reasonably priced.

We ordered a meal for 4, 2 were ok but special fried rice and special chowmain AWFUL. Rice in the special fried rice was like a rice pudding, next to no meat, and the duck included was soggy and the skin was not cooked, think it must of been microwaved.

Recently stayed in a nearby hotel and haven't had a chinese takeaway for years. So second night after along day doing castles decided to give it a go.

Just ordered a take away and drove 4 miles to collect only to arrive home after being given the wrong order. I phoned the take away to inform them of the mistake when the waitress said ' yes you took the wrong order'

We have had Chinese, fish and chips and curry from here. All food was good and very good value. It was all very hot when we collected it, staff very friendly. Very clean.

Estado aquí muchas veces y he tenido una mala experiencia un par de veces con tartas frías y el como. Pero normalmente el pescado y las patatas fritas son fenomenales, el pescado es enorme. La comida para llevar china es también muy buena, aunque el tiempo de espera cuando pida por teléfono es hasta una hora, pero ese es el precio del éxito. Todo un lugar excelente y regularmente mi tienda de chips y de comida para llevar.

I had chips and an omelette. Chips were ok, omelette was served in about a cm of grease. Partner ordered plum duck but got something like pineapple duck (didn't find out till we were back at hotel) and average noodles.

No he probado el pescado y patatas fritas, pero el chino es muy bueno para llevar. Las verduras están perfectamente picantes y szechuan no cocidas, la carne con anacardos es tierna y sabrosa, y el arroz frito con gambas es deliciosa. El servicio fue bastante rápido. Había un poco de cola pero todavía tardó menos de 10 minutos. Altamente recomendado.

Usamos este lugar para comprar nuestra comida china para llevar y lo han hecho por muchos años cuando paso de Chester a casa en la península de Llyn. Honestamente puedo decir que la comida es fabulosa. Las raciones son generosas y recomiendo a los demás.

Excellent Chinese food at reasonable prices though the fish and chips are not the best. It is a take away only but all the food is freshly cooked and good portion sizes.

I have used this takeaway on a few occasions, always great food, yes you have to wait sometimes because they are busy but that just shows something. Wish it was nearer to home.

Pensé que me pruebe aquí algunos de pescado y patatas fritas antigua. He probado muchos sitios alrededor de Anglesey y Bangor pero no podía igualar estas. Abre más tarde de Chans la mayoría de los pescados locales y tiendas chip (que tienden a cerrar en 7 o 8???) fui en una noche tranquila esta noche (martes) y los llevó a la marina y me senté en el muelle, y despedazado! Me encanta todo tipo de cocinas, pero el pescado y patatas fritas son un tierno regalo. Sé donde me voy a comprar la mía desde en el futuro. Bien vale la pena el 12 mile drive :)

This is by far the best chinnese around, but its also expensive. Saying that for the quality you receive its well worth it. Defintely reccomemded. Tip: The spring rolls are awesome !!!

Prepárate para esperar un rato para su pedido en las horas punta (fines de semana) - pero vale la pena la espera

We were stopping at a near by apartment and drove past so after a busy day decided that we deserved a take away. We phoned the order through, were given an order number and told to come and collect in 40 minutes. When we went to collect the order the place was heaving. Lots of people milling about waiting. It appeared organised madness...... When we got the food home we got exactly what we ordered and it was lush. If we are ever back in the area we will go back!

Esta chino, es la mejor de la zona, te puedo decir porque hemos probado todos. Nunca me ha decepcionado por la comida. Puede que tenga que esperar un rato para su comida en el fin de semana, pero esto es porque es increíblemente popular que es muy concurrido, pero es sin duda vale la pena esperar. Hemos tenido muchas cosas diferentes en el menú, y todos ellos le han sido de maravilla. Recomendaría aquí a cualquiera que solicite y ya tengo ganas de volver en mi próxima visita.

Nos encanta este chino, que en la high Street en Y Felinheli. Habitaciones muy limpias, y que las señoras que trabajan allí son amables y muy trabajador. Siempre nos Ring con nuestra orden y siempre es preparado con 10 minutos más tarde. La comida es siempre frescos, caliente y sabrosa. Nos visita esta chino en promedio dos veces al mes.

Great Chinese takeaway situate in the village of Y Felinheli. Crispy Beef in O.K Sauce is lovely, and at a reasonable price.
