Pre ordered snd collected on time. Chicken curry, egg fried rice and special chow mane, free prawn crackers. Very tasty, will visit use again next time when we are in the area.

There wasn't to much wrong with the food to be honest ,theres no free prawn crackers though , I'm only marking you down for an awfully slow service on collection , my number being displayed as ready then taking an age to get it then being told no card payments which I looked everywhere and there was no sign stating this

Only take cash so went somewhere else. They were really busy too, phone ringing off the hook and the people in front of us were told an hour to collect their meal.

Food was great, good value for money. Given a pick-up time, but had to wait a further 25mins before we were served. Not ideal in this cold weather.

The best Chinese takeaway in Bangor. Be prepared for a long wait when busy but well worth it.

1.5 hour wait despite calling in order. Food was cold, worst spring rolls ever, too much batter very little filling. This establishment needs an overhaul, lousy system and definitely no customer service. Please improve your establishment as it's in a prime location.^

This has to be the best Chinese takeaway in Bangor. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. They are understandably busy due to their location being close to the hospital and university accomodation, however, they still do their best. Food quality is very good. I'm yet to try something on their diverse menu that I don't like. I shall be trying more soon. My only criticism is the lack of card payments.

The food here is nice but I really don’t think it’s worth the wait. I phoned our order through and was told it’d be about 45 minutes. I thought this was quite a long time to wait but was happy to wait as I wasn’t feeling too great so didn’t really fancy cooking. I arrived after about 50 minutes as the food is never ready on time. The place was busy with people waiting for their food. I had to wait another 40 minutes for my food to be ready. When it arrived, the staff didn’t even apologise for the delay. From phoning the order through to actually getting the food was an hour and a half! Like I said the food was ok but it was no way worth the wait. I won’t bother going back as this is not the first time I’ve had to wait ages after arriving to get the food.

Solid Chinese just outside the hospital. My wife was in for a while and it was nice to eat something different.

There is normally slow service at this takeaway. The food is very good. But tonight was beyond reasonable wait. When telephone ordered for 1 x chicken fried rice, was told ready in 30 mins. Left without my order more than a full hour later.

1st visit could not get through on phone so drove down and waited in que to order food only to find out why the phone was not being answered they where busy so understandable some people where waiting well over a hr for food the que was being dealt with as a serve one order ready serve someone else so i was there a good 40mins before i got served to wait an extra 30mins on top of that. food was lovely tho 2nd visit is today 05-01-19 phoned up i got through :) got told will be a hr wait as they are busy ok no problem my partner goes after a hr we where number 42 they only on order 35 so been over a hr and a half now and he still not back dont think i will be returning even though the food is nice

Surprisingly good . Good standard of Chinese Style Meals. Far better than I expected. Been recommended to me for a very long time. Probably in my opinion the Best takeaway in Bangor.

Phoned in an order and was told it would be an hour. Got there after 1hr and had to wait another 30 mins. Got home and the order was wrong. Phoned to ask they make two rice dishes quickly and I would return the wrong orders. The arrogant blonde girl told me I would have to wait another hour as it was MY fault not theirs! Told her not to bother, plenty of over chinese take outs. She said it was my loss! Food was okay, nothing special. I've had tastier at Eastern Origin; Ho Wah and Elegant.

By far the best Chinese around, friendly, polite and happy staff even when they’re busy. Some people fail to realise that it is not a restaurant therefore there is only a couple of staff there cooking, and due to the popular demand of great tasting food and all other local take away’s don’t compare everyone chooses this take away hence why there is a wait. I’d happily sit and wait an hour as I know I can’t get better else where, believe me I’ve tried. From Caernarfon all the way to Holyhead and in between none compare to China city and I always vouch for them no matter what. If you just want a standard take away for the same price and bland tasting go else where. If you want the best, then I’d highly recommend here and just call an hour prior to the time you want it and saves you waiting. It’s worth the wait and always has been for myself.

Excellent Chinese takeaway,we called on the previous night because we had a big order for Saturday night and it was everything we wanted and a variety of food was hot as well,they gave us Free prawn crackers. Highly recommended 5 Star service.

Environment was suitable and friendly. Food was pleasantly served,cheap and very palatable.Very close to Bangor railway Station.

I'm sorry but the service here really needs a kick up the A s s. We come here often and the foods lovely 5*. But every time we come we have to wait to even see a member of staff, no one comes to the counter. Anyway this evening was by far the worse. I tried to put an order in over the phone, calling on and off for an hour - no answer. So I decided I would just go and put my order in there and wait. Well! I stood for ages waiting to put an order in (again nobody came to the counter), one lady said she had put her order in 45 mins previously and not seen anyone since. Another guy came in and said he put his phone order in over an hour ago. Everyone there had something to say about how long it takes or lack of presence. I gave up waiting and went somewhere else. That experience lost them my £30 order and any future orders BUT gained them a bad review

Never fails to let us down. You have to try the large spring roll. Not had one as nice anywhere else. Phone the order on a sat night as they can be very busy. Tried many dishes and all are good standard. This is where we get our take away regular on sat night.

Don’t leave it last minute to place your order. Being so popular there is often a wait for your food. It’s worth the wait though. Enjoyable meal on every occasion.

Good portions, good food, good prices. Would give 5* if they were quicker answering the phone, serving, and cooking the orders.

We phone our order in, give them a pick up time as we live over four miles away, it's always waiting and hot when you pick it up, it's next door to Ysbyty Gwynedd and I know all the staff use it, so surely that speaks for itself.

Comimos aquí regularmente. El establecimiento está limpio y tiene una alta clasificación de alimentos que se muestra en la puerta al entrar. Es un popular China y puede esperar hasta 30 minutos para su pedido. La comida es deliciosa no le decepcionará.

Recently moved to the area, and this is the nearest take away, and everytime ive been there it's bloody closed!

Lovely Chinese take away been here half a dozen times and has alway been good food served by nice owners did not have to wait long for my order and was home in no time tucking into it

Esta comida para llevar no parece mucho desde el exterior, pero no dejes que esto te engañe! La comida es increíble, enormes porciones y ofrece una excelente relación calidad-precio. He estado viniendo aquí durante unos cuantos años y sigue siendo el lugar más concurrido y más concurrido por lo que se puede esperar un poco, sobre todo los fines pero es así vale la pena! El Singapore Chow Mein es para morirse :)

Este es mi para llevar comida China local y para ser sincero es el mejor con diferencia. También tiene un agradable ambiente familiar y es muy acogedor. Ahora, la comida es la mejor de la zona con mis favoritos eran curry de ternera con arroz...

Nunca he tenido una mala comida aquí y estamos trabajando lentamente nuestro camino a través del menú. De lejos, la mejor comida para llevar en la zona, fantástica calidad, excelente relación calidad-precio y el más sabroso comida alrededor. Yo no iría a ningún otro sitio...

Great food to be had at this takeaway, but the service is poor, these places are labelled 'fast food' here it isnt 65 minute wait for my order and not for the first time totally unacceptable shame really as the food was very good!
