You can only pay by card if you order online. Lovely rainy night for walking to a cashpoint! Nothing in information on the website to warn you. Food was ok but I wasn't impressed by the veg curry with the biryani - blitzed to a sludge, no texture. Won't be using this place again.

Just bought a chicken biryani and it was very very tasty. I needed some good home cooked cuisine and this fit the criteria !!! The guys were very friendly and I was surprised it was ready within 5 mins . Well done guys .

We ordered on line. Easy to order. Wonderful friendly, polite service once we arrived to collect our order. Large portions and delicious chichen briyani. Talky good value.

Beautiful food! We had a variety of curries, sides, naan and rice and it was all delicious. We ordered online and we had to wait a bit longer than stated but it was a busy Saturday night and the food was well worth the wait. We'll be back.

Very Enjoyable Excellent Food .

Best Indian food we had so far. There was a bit of a wait to collect the food, but chef kindly apologised and offered us soft drinks on the house, even though we had no complaints! The food was worth every extra second of waiting.

Tried this takeaway as we were staying in a local self catered accommodation and it did not disappoint! We ordered online which was easy and convenient and collected the food exactly on time, hot and fresh. We had: Lamb Jalfrezi which was spicy yet full of flavour with melt in the mouth good quality lamb (no gristle/fat), pilau rice again nice flavour, chips and a garlic naan which was massive (folded into 3 to get in the bag) and wonderfully garlic-y with fresh garlic. All in all a great experience, delicious food at a reasonable price, we're just sad that we don't live locally to have this again! Highly recommend Sitar to anyone locally looking for great tasting Indian food.

I used Sitar to cater for 20 people and we were delighted with the food, very tasty, good portion size and reasonably priced. Next time i'm in north Wales i'll be back!

Visiting from Amsterdam we had a fantastic takeaway. The Coconut Rice tasted simply GORGEOUS!

Sadly this place seems to have gone really downhill. The last few takeaways we have had the paneer has been burnt and rubbery and the naans had a weird chemical like smell, such a shame as it used to be so good!

We had the Lamb Podina and it was the nicest Indian curry we've ever had. Poppadoms light, not oily like some places. Shop was spotless, service was excellent. Will definitely be ordering again.

Tastes great! Eating something delicious right now. Specially Chiken shashlik korai is best . I have never eaten before like this curry. It was amazing. The chef made this dish with love.

Went in to the take away with a very large order, whilst on holiday. The girl at front of house was lovely & so helpful. She helped me go through the order & suggested menu choices based on what we liked. The food was all steaming hot & very tasty, would highly recommend. Very good customer service

This is the 4th time I have ordered from this takeaway and 4times they have left out an ordered meal not acceptable !!!

The "chicken tikka sandwich" is actually a huge chicken tikka kebab with a proper fresh naan. Yum

According to the menu that is online and posted 3 years ago my order of 2x CTM 2x pilau rice 2x popadom 1x pickletray 2x cans of coke (12.50+4.60+1.20+2+1.90) comes to £22.20 I was charged £25 so I'm down £2.80. Both of the CTM were genuinely only filled to 3/4 of the tray and one portion of rice is nowhere near enough per curry. This place has gone downhill since new owners have taken over. If you're going to order here be sure to do your own counting on price and order two portions of rice per curry. Honestly, I'd head into Bangor and get a curry from there failing that get a Chinese from Junction just nextdoor.

Having enjoyed chinese cuisine all over the world found myself not having the time to venture far so decided to use th one in the village... jackpot everything is amazing...since tried a few other dishes all absolutely top notch

The positives. Comparable with a good Indian Take Away in a big city. Food was good and plentiful. No complaints with the food. Downside. They do not deliver. And they only accept cash. Forgive me for thinking its 2019.. Clearly they don't need the business, but FFS.. By not offering delivery and CC payments they are not helping the local community, and if I was a local living in Bethesda, I'd be boycotting this place and getting my mates to boycott until they at least offer card payment. I would suggest that it's a bit weird if a successful food business does not accept card payments in 2019.. I wonder why.

Visited around 6pm on a busy Friday night, ordered a chicken curry, fried rice, noodles and sweet and sour sauce. Waited around 15-20 minutes which was fine, the phone was constantly ringing and a steady flow of people in and out so clearly a very popular place. The food was delicious, portions not huge but enough as I often find some places give too much and it goes to waste, one of the best chinese meals I have had in a long time, will definitely be returning. Was given a free bag of Prawn Crackers too, bonus :)

Never comming here again. Customer Service was awful and said a hour on the phone and turned in to 2 hours. Food is expensive compered to good chinese places around here. Food was not even that great either. Very very poor.

I would never go here EVER EVER EVER EVER again. placed a phone order and they said just over an hour, but no we waited 2 hours, I ordered a jumbo sausage and only got a small. we paid over £30 and we got less this time then we normally do from an other Chinese which is a lot cheaper, and and lot nice staff and way

The flavour of the food here is exemplary, I had the set menu for 2 at £25.95 and we should have enough for tomorrow too. One bad point though - I did find the colour of the food almost fluorescent and unnatural.

A decent Chinese it has everything you could want to order and it’s speedy too. Nothing else you could need from a Chinese take away!

Absolutely lovely food we were staying in snowdonia and wanted something local and nice we read few reviews and they didn't disappoint the food was delicious and so piping hot we had to cool it before we ate which is a rarity for a take away, I would eat here again when we're in the area

Don’t go there. Food was disgusting a complete waste of money. We ordered a set menu for three. It was very salty overall, lemon chicken was overly sweet and gloopy and the chicken and sweet corn soup was just slimy and jelly like - inedible. A bad end to our short stay on the area.

Order from here fairly regularly, the special chow mein is delish. Never been unhappy with anything from here, we ordered the banquet for 4 last night with one extra main and an extra rice.....it was way too much for the 7 of us and all really really nice. Free prawn crackers always too!

On a busy Saturday night in the call centre of our business time flys when busy and no time to stop so a quick telephone call to this Chinese takeaway and the meals are ordered. Always good quality food very tasty and always pipping hot.

Un fabuloso para llevar con una buena variedad de platos. El menú era bastante amplia, pero pudimos encontrar platos para alojar a todo el mundo en el grupo de 5 que tuvimos. Hay opciones para todos los gustos y pedimos unos 10 platos por 40 libras, que era muy razonable. La espera fue de unos 40 minutos, pero la comida estaba recién preparado y a la orden y bien caliente. China, con una gran cantidad de sabor y las porciones son muy generosas, no podía soportar todo.

Great take away phone your order through and it's ready on time all the time never had a bad one from this take away plus the chocolates on the counter are a bonus

This takeaway is well worth a visit. Service fab, prices also good. Food was absolutely delicious, many different flavours and some really lovely spices and heat too. Highly recommend ( and awesome for vegetarians ) , not had a Chinese this good for as long as I can remember

You won't get a nicer chow mein anywhere else! The satay is hot so be careful! The chips are lovely too (unusual for a Chinese) and their curry sauce is lovely and fruity. Consistent and quick

We ordered takeaway here last week. The food was average.. The start of salt and pepper chicken was very very dry and the prawn crackers were stale. The crispy shredded beef with chill was nice. Service was fast

Food was good, quite average. But service was absolutely terrible. They weren't particularly busy, but our takeaway took 45 minutes! Only one chef was working. We were starving! Would not go to again.

They don't seem to know the difference between a chilli massala and a tika massala. The food was average and quite expensive - nothing special.
