The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Chinese food

Absolutely appalling,rude to customers and staff, no table water had to pay for bottle water,because it was a "special menu" some items taken off, been using the restaurant for 10 years ,final straw when phoning for a table, told she no longer accepts more then 4 at a time, as she cant cope and staff shortages, and not allowed to go on the "special menu"and now wants £10 non refundable deposits, which in itself is not a problem ,but had considered ourselves regular longterm customers.

Ken Ho is an absolute gem in Birmingham! The food was exceptional, my personal favourites were the salt & pepper prawns and braised fish with tofu but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the outstanding service provided by Andrew. He was incredibly personable, attentive, and made us feel welcomed with our young child.

Very hit and miss with this restaurant. I left a review 18 months ago about the poor quality of the dishes being served and sadly they have let themselves down yet again. We ordered a takeaway and the egg fried rice was poor. I do not know what they gave us but it was not egg fried rice. What we received was more like steamed rice thrown into a wok and fried off. Absolutely disgusting no egg and very claggy. The chicken and cashew dish in a yellow bean sauce was cold and no sauce. The two other main dish we had were OK but the amount this establishment charges you, you expect quality and not substandard dishes.

Good food However, the service was not very good. The attendant who seemed to be the owner of the restaurant was not happy when I only asked for one dish to share between two people and so he charged me the service fee which was optional.

Lovely Chinese meal at Zen Garden. Great service and the food was delicious.

Such a sour face. Why not a happy greeting? Even the words gave the feeling I wasn't really welcome. The crispy noodle chow Mien was flavorless and some noodles were burned just as the initial smell indicated. Sloppy cooking.

Located right on the River Thames, this River View restaurant offers amazing views and a lovely terrace for outdoor dining. We’ve become regulars here, as it’s a true gem in the local community. The food is consistently delicious, and the service is always friendly and to a high standard.

Ok but the drinks and extras are extremely expensive so the "all you can eat" price isn't as good as it seems!

Best Chinese around. Food is beautiful. Only downside was a rude delivery driver but I know its not the restaurants fault.

The best Chinese takeaway in the whole of Devon! This is not a joke- the food is delicious and freshly made! We always treat ourselves to this Chinese as every other takeaway we had (we live in Barnstaple) just does not match their quality. 100% recommend!

Very disappointed after paying £833 being told we had to give the table back! We didn’t have tea or coffee which we are used to have after a meal. Would not recommend for a relaxed evening out. We arrived on time and needed to be out in 2 hours!! Will not recommend and not go back.

Saturday lunch, the restaurant was empty - unsurprisingly as it turned out. We ordered prawn crackers, a quarter crispy aromatic duck - ok-ish but nothing special. The crispy pork (Harbin signature dish) was dry and tough. The steamed prawns in their shells were vastly overcooked: dry, rubbery and flavourless. Both main courses (at c. £23 each) came with no vegetables, just the protein. The prawns were served with some vermicelli. The egg fried rice was £6.50!!! We complained about the mains (especially the prawns). The waiter said he told the chef, who replied that that's how the prawns should be! With a coke and a beer, the bill came to £90. On the plus side, the restaurant is spacious and nicely decorated. The toilets are nice and very clean. Unfortunately, the food is badly cooked and overpriced. We won't be going back.
