Kam-wa has been the go to takeaway for the household for years but tonight’s was exceptional! Salt and Chili chicken Honey chili chicken Thin noodles Rice and curry sauce Chicken noodle soup Like this every time please 😇

Used this takeaway a few times now. Usually fine. No issues.. .however I've never eaten a shredded chicken dish that was very spicy.. way too spicy!! and it was average warm when it arrived. I'll be avoiding in future.

Food was prepared using out of date ingredients and had a terrible smell

Used to love this place but it's gonna downhill. Ordered a curry and it was like water. Delivery driver really rude as well. Literally been eating form here 10 years but will go elsewhere now. Honestly fuming about how the delivery driver spoke to me, as well. Terrible experience.

Best southside Chinese takeaway. Lovely staff, great food. I cheated on them once because it was a Monday and they were closed, I have learned my lesson. I will never cheat on you agaaaaaain!

Got a takeaway from here and it was very nice indeed, pancake roll for starter was excellent as we're the main dishes.

My new favourite Chinese, knocks at least 2 neighbouring ones out the running. If you actually go in, you’ll see how spotlessly clean and professional the set up is. The gyozas are dynamite.

Some of the food was ok. One starter was stone cold. Duck dish was woeful. Lots of onion but hardly any meat. Really poor. Avoid

I got chicken curry boiled rice.. boiled rice was dry as hell.. chicken curry was nice but curry sauce Was watery.. salt and chilli chips where on point and delivery took 25 min

Curry sauce was watery and bland 5/10 at best. Very disappointed.

Kam Wa has been our regular Chinese since we moved to the Southside, and we recommend it to absolutely everyone! We've been dozens of times and have never had an issue. They've got lots of great options for all tastes, and great vegan options (I get the vegetarian chicken). The wait is never too long, and the food is fab value. The staff are really lovely as well - they always notice if we're getting all veggie options, and ask if we want prawn crackers or not, which I think shows a great attention to their customers.

Best chinese about. Ordered chicken curry and fried rice it came earlier than stated. It was the best chicken curry i have had and would highly recommend this takeaway.

Definitely the best I have tasted in South Side, this will be my Chinese from now on. Chicken chow maim slim noodles was 10/10 chips was even tasty!!

Kam wa is the best Chinese by far. Was recommended by a family member. And their thoughts on this was not wrong. Fresh food, great range of flavourful food. A definite must try! Can't fault this place. Staff very friendly. Would highly recommend. Will definitely be back!

Good food and good vegetarian options

Stone cold food -only 2 of the 7 dishes were vaguely hot. Offer of “10% off next time” was derisory. Staff are not empowered to sort issues. The “boss” needs to be involved in everything. This should have been a simple fix but a failure to believe previously regular customers and a culture of denial made a bad situation worse.

My go-to Chinese takeaway. Very good. Portions of salt n chilli chicken could be a bit larger though

ordered a 38 pounds order didnt show up when i queried this with deliveroo was told they tried to deliver i was sitting in my balcony the hole time!!! made no effort to deliver i was told tuff and not gettting my money back left kids without dinner wouldnt disscuss redelivery was told tuff KEPT MONEY AVOID AVOID AVOID

Really small portion size but tasty nonetheless

Ordered food tonight and found shards of metal in the food. Phoned to let them know and never even got an apology. They also knew straight away without us suggesting it that it came from a metal scourer which sounded like it's happened before. The attitude from the staff was appalling when we phoned back. Apart from this the chicken was tough and dried out. The prawn crackers were great.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but it does the best food locally by far. Chow mein the best I've ever had!

In the past didnt enjoy food place seemed dreery and defo dirty but was recently passing and could actually see through windows and noticed new faces so thougjt i would give it a try Agian soon as went inside defo more cleaner,brighter more welcoming and now know new owners have took over the chef was more than happy to come out to speak to customers but was then told he was also the new owner very pleasant experience and once home and tryed the food we were defo happy it was lovely and will defo be bk so give it a try guys....

Food wasn’t great. Curry sauce tasted like ash/burnt. The rice smelled a bit off too. Shame.

It's under new management with a different cook. Unfortunately, it's gone downhill pretty dramatically. Chicken w/garlic & white wine sauce was a pale imitation of its old self, while beef w/ginger lacked its previous ginger fieriness. Is there anywhere to replace it?

Been using this Chinese takeaway for about 2 and a half years now, haven't been for a while due to work commitments so when I got my usual meal tonight I was really looking forward to having a lovely meal, unfortunately they must have changed the chef and to say I was disappointed was a massive understatement,the only reason I ate it was because I was so hungry so needless to say I won't be back any time soon,not happy.

You loose a star because of the chicken bone in my Hong Kong style. The food was hot, super tasty & delighted it was delivered sooner than expected

The chicken satay was mostly mushrooms and fatty tasteless chicken. probably the worst I’ve ever had. will never order from here again.

Food was decent enough when I eventually got it but I received it one hour after the originally estimated delivery time. I called the restaurant and was assured my food was en-route but I did not receive it for another 40 minutes.

Very tasty food, the pork in my chicken and barbeque pork curry was lovely as were the onions.

Nobody is going to die if the food is hot. I want to leave a better rating as food is well prepared, but, it's barely warm. I don't want it Early +Tepid I want HOT FOOD. After sending a polite msg asking for that, my order *still* arrived lukewarm. You can't blame Delivery; I live <5mins away & it's the same when I collect in person. Last time half the syrup sauce was carelessly spilled into the bag not the foil carton which held 2 soggy leftover cold "fritters" (0/10 for those). For 5 Star Rating, Better Fritters wd be nice but PLEASE heat food until HOT.

Salt n Chilli Chicken wings were bland and despite the description emphasising "(Dry)" they were, in fact, very soggy with a good couple of ml of liquid at the bottom of the tray. The Rendang Beef was also bland - although it did at least have a bit of a kick to it - but ,again, was very liquidy and not at all coconut-y (two things I don't expect from rendang). The stir fried chicken arrived as a perfectly sliced breast laid on top of the veg which makes me think the chicken wasn't actually stir fried, but in fact was fried as a solid breast before being sliced and placed in the container. For a takeaway with as high a rating I was very very (yes, 2 "very"s) disappointed and won't be using again

over a 1 hour wait not acceptable. Food was not worth the wait nothing bad but nothing special esp 1 hour 10min waiting time.

First time customer tonight and I thought the food quality was excellent. Really tasty and enjoyed every bite. I will return. Excellent.

This is the second time I’ve got food from here. Not only has the service been good but food is delicious and it is half the price of the Chinese I USED to use 😊 will only use here from now on. would recommend

Ordered beef satay and recieved chicken!

Not what I expected. Both meals I ordered where runny, Very poor food quality. Too many onions only a little amount of meat.

Food arrived on time and the chicken fried rice was amazing, will definitely get it again. Only downside was that the chips had been sitting in the paper bag for so long that when I took the bag out the bottom was so wet with condensation that it tore and the chips went everywhere. They were also quite cold, which wasn't great.

The Food came 15 minutes after I placed the order when it says it would be 55 minutes, which would have been great if the food was fresh but obviously not considering it was out the door in less than 10 mins on a Sat night. My king prawn in cashew nuts tasted of nothing at all and the Prawns were like rubber, The chicken in the chicken balls was full of so much water the chicken was so soft and didn’t taste like breast and I was missing a fried rice. I phoned to say I was missing my rice and the rude woman basically said I was lying. If looking to enjoy a good Chinese I strongly recommend you don’t waste your money here and maybe try Skirving in Shawlands or foohouse in Kingspark they are like night and day from Kam Wah.

The service was good. Food came fast and the delivery driver was nice enough (although he did ask for 50p extra ??? not sure why). the food on the other hand was horrific. The chips were stale, the chicken was dry, the ribs were overcooked. I actually boiled the BBQ sauce for longer as it hadn't even been cooked properly..... won't be back
