Kam Wa in Glasgow City

Used this takeaway a few times now. Usually fine. No issues.. .however I've never eaten a shredded chicken dish that was very spicy.. way too spicy!! and it was average warm when it arrived. I'll be avoiding in future.

Food was prepared using out of date ingredients and had a terrible smell

Used to love this place but it's gonna downhill. Ordered a curry and it was like water. Delivery driver really rude as well. Literally been eating form here 10 years but will go elsewhere now. Honestly fuming about how the delivery driver spoke to me, as well. Terrible experience.

Best southside Chinese takeaway. Lovely staff, great food. I cheated on them once because it was a Monday and they were closed, I have learned my lesson. I will never cheat on you agaaaaaain!

Got a takeaway from here and it was very nice indeed, pancake roll for starter was excellent as we're the main dishes.

My new favourite Chinese, knocks at least 2 neighbouring ones out the running. If you actually go in, you’ll see how spotlessly clean and professional the set up is. The gyozas are dynamite.

Some of the food was ok. One starter was stone cold. Duck dish was woeful. Lots of onion but hardly any meat. Really poor. Avoid

I got chicken curry boiled rice.. boiled rice was dry as hell.. chicken curry was nice but curry sauce Was watery.. salt and chilli chips where on point and delivery took 25 min

Curry sauce was watery and bland 5/10 at best. Very disappointed.

Kam Wa has been our regular Chinese since we moved to the Southside, and we recommend it to absolutely everyone! We've been dozens of times and have never had an issue. They've got lots of great options for all tastes, and great vegan options (I get the vegetarian chicken). The wait is never too long, and the food is fab value. The staff are really lovely as well - they always notice if we're getting all veggie options, and ask if we want prawn crackers or not, which I think shows a great attention to their customers.

Best chinese about. Ordered chicken curry and fried rice it came earlier than stated. It was the best chicken curry i have had and would highly recommend this takeaway.

Definitely the best I have tasted in South Side, this will be my Chinese from now on. Chicken chow maim slim noodles was 10/10 chips was even tasty!!

Kam wa is the best Chinese by far. Was recommended by a family member. And their thoughts on this was not wrong. Fresh food, great range of flavourful food. A definite must try! Can't fault this place. Staff very friendly. Would highly recommend. Will definitely be back!

Good food and good vegetarian options

Stone cold food -only 2 of the 7 dishes were vaguely hot. Offer of “10% off next time” was derisory. Staff are not empowered to sort issues. The “boss” needs to be involved in everything. This should have been a simple fix but a failure to believe previously regular customers and a culture of denial made a bad situation worse.

My go-to Chinese takeaway. Very good. Portions of salt n chilli chicken could be a bit larger though

Ordered food tonight and found shards of metal in the food. Phoned to let them know and never even got an apology. They also knew straight away without us suggesting it that it came from a metal scourer which sounded like it's happened before. The attitude from the staff was appalling when we phoned back. Apart from this the chicken was tough and dried out. The prawn crackers were great.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but it does the best food locally by far. Chow mein the best I've ever had!

In the past didnt enjoy food place seemed dreery and defo dirty but was recently passing and could actually see through windows and noticed new faces so thougjt i would give it a try Agian soon as went inside defo more cleaner,brighter more welcoming and now know new owners have took over the chef was more than happy to come out to speak to customers but was then told he was also the new owner very pleasant experience and once home and tryed the food we were defo happy it was lovely and will defo be bk so give it a try guys....

It's under new management with a different cook. Unfortunately, it's gone downhill pretty dramatically. Chicken w/garlic & white wine sauce was a pale imitation of its old self, while beef w/ginger lacked its previous ginger fieriness. Is there anywhere to replace it?

Been using this Chinese takeaway for about 2 and a half years now, haven't been for a while due to work commitments so when I got my usual meal tonight I was really looking forward to having a lovely meal, unfortunately they must have changed the chef and to say I was disappointed was a massive understatement,the only reason I ate it was because I was so hungry so needless to say I won't be back any time soon,not happy.

Not great for non-meat esters when they get chicken instead of prawn. Instead of an apology the staff were aggressive when we had the temerity to complain. They offered “complimentary” dish next time - like there will be a next time! Rude and unpleasant as well as incompetent. Don’t order from these fools

Food is sways lovely. I have never had a bad meal. Staff are lovely 😊 I love the Singapore noodles and the salt & chilli chicken is great. Staff are always very polite and even when I moved 5 miles away from the takeaway, I still go here for my treat ✨

Food was cold and tasteless most of it went in the bin. Huge waste of money. Wouldn’t use them again. Had too many bad experiences with Just Eat, really poor quality takeaway restaurants.

Ordered some food through the Just Eat website from this take away. First time I have ordered from them. Never again, the food arrived over an hour late, it was cold, and very unappetising, most of it ended up the bin. What a waste of money. The menu is unoriginal and unimaginative, of this food appeals to you then you are very boring, and probably have no taste buds. If this is the best Glasgow south side has to offer, then it’s not up to much.

Fast delivery. Food was literally bland. Satay didn't taste anything close to Satay. It was all a bit tasteless/slimey. Ohh, and we had two bones in our PRAWN dish. Salt and chilli chips were also lacking in flavour.

The service was great but the food unfortunately was not! Maybe i just ordered the wrong items, but not sure if I'll give it another chance to find out.

Food took over an hour to arrive and was then very luke warm and had to be out in microwave. Prawn toast soggy. Chow mein covered in thick black sauce-not even mixed in

ribs were lovely. I am malaysian and I have never seen a Beef rendang like this. It is more of a stir fry in sauce rather than a curry. Same with the Thai chicken was more of breaded chiken fillet in sweet sauce rather than anything I have eaten in Thailand before. Delivery team were fabulous. I would eat here again but choose different dishes.

Crispy chicken with chilli and salt was really good - nicely spiced, prawn toast and plain chow mein were as I would expect - very tasty overall. Would order some additional sauce next time. Delivery was at peak time on Friday night but still came in around 25 mins! Overall very impressed - thanks

PUBLIC Health Warning!!!! Do not eat from this place ordered chicken fried rice when I opened the tub the chicken smelt off there was also a dark hair yuck, took the meal back to shop owner tryed to say I never bought meal from there told the counter staff to look for my receipt which they found the girl behind the counter even said the chicken smelt off to the owner, owner not happy she was found out lair

Lovely szechuan pork and chicken- good that the peppers are diced and not big slices. Liked the battered onion rings - not those stodgy ones and not the small freezer kind. I've ordered a few times - consistently good.

Rapid collection. HOWEVER the chips were soggy and undercooked. I would have waited. I put a request in for half rice half chips in my curry box and next thing I've got Isa on the phone telling me no there's no chance of that. Gutted, ruined my Sunday night infact. The beef curry was no bad. Salt n chilli chicken was very decent.

This Order was slightly unusual in that the food was great (as usual) & arrived before I'd even found my door keys!? BUT the food was cool-warm not piping hot as with previous orders. I'd rather it was piping hot + late than barely warm and delivered early; This won't put me off re-ordering from Kam Wa.

Stay away!!food cold took 2 hours and manager refused to speak to me and told just eat when they phoned them they wouldn't speak to him manager finally spoke to me well shouted that food wouldn't be cold if I ordered from a closer restaurant to my home ..pathetic of u deliver in this postcode range food should be warm..

Food was nice but cold and the prawn crackers were stale. Had to reheat the meal which kind of defeats the whole purpose of getting food delivered. Delivery took almost an hour and a half as well.

Food arrived much earlier than stated which was good, prices were okay but might've shown in the food quality. Ordered chicken currys and they tasted somewhat average. They also had very large chunks of onion throughout the curry as if to substitute for chicken which is a no for me

I found the meal to be less than impressive. I've never seen beef and tomato made without tomato it was also dry and chewy. I also ordered beef and black bean sauce which didn't advertise as having mushrooms, most of the meal was gone by the time they were picked out. Again the beef was very chewy! I could have made better at home. Even the prawn crackers were a let down being rather soft! Would I order again? No!

My usual Chinese was closed,, so decided to try this one. Ordered King Prawn Chow Mein and Vegetable Mini Spring Rolls. The food was good, the delivery time was okay. I wish there were an option to get the chow mein with thin noodles, that said it was really nice and the king prawns were cooked very well. The spring rolls were nice enough, the sweet and sour sauce was not my favourite but okay.
