I’m afraid my tofu meal was revolting. Dry and certainly not fresh. Considering I was the bill payer, I was very disappointed. Other family members said that their dishes were mediocre. Will not be returning. Very poor.

Food as always was good but the prawn crackers were stale.. seems rude to complain as they were free but need to give feedback

My food was awful will not be ordering from here again I always get my Chinese from here now I won’t be. Chow main was so greasy cold and just noddles none of the other stuff that goes in it . My chips was awful soggy and the special rice was disgusting. I so disappointed as would always order from here they really let it down pass 3 I’ve had now have been poor. It’s goodbye for me :(

This was the best chinese I have had outside of London's Chinatown! Portion sizes were huge, the flavours were sumptuous, and the quality was stupendous!!

Take away dinner. No delivery slots available so did pickup option. Easy as there are street parking bays very close. Generous portions and freshly cooked and tasty. I would recommend without hesitation.

I was on holiday near Lyminge and found that the local takeaway was closed due to a family holiday, I looked up the nearest Chinese takeaway on Google maps and I found this delightful place. I don’t normally post on tripadvisor etc but this was the most tastiest Roast Duck with Green Pepper in Black Bean Sauce I’ve ever had, my husband and daughter were equally pleased with their food, the service was brilliant and the team were very friendly even though it was a busy Friday night, I would highly recommend this place,

The crispy won ton were not very flavoursome, the chicken in yellow bean sauce with cashew nuts was ok , the hing king style sweet and sour prawns were good, the vegetable spring rolls were bigger than expected and tasty, the special fried rice was disappointing with big chunks of meat and vegetables with a sauce. Our usual Chinese is closed for a holiday so it may just be that we have got used to their food. We won’t use this restaurant again.

We have been ordering from the same restaurant for 5 years now and it’s always been really good, however our meal today wasn’t nearly up to the taste and standard we are used to. Maybe there is a new chef or something, however sadly it was the first time we have been disappointed.

Great friendly service from restaurant and driver, but satay super spicy couldn't eat it and the other dishes were bland and tasteless Egg fried rice didn't look like it had seen an egg

Without doubt, the worst Chinese takeaway that has ever been delivered to my door. It was the first time ordering from this establishment, and it will most certainly be the last. The meat was cheap and extremely poor quality and the sauces bland and tasteless. Most of it ended up in the bin and the only part vaguely edible were the prawn crackers. A total waste of money.

The half crispy duck was so overcooked you couldn’t distinguish meat from skin! After calling to advise that I expected better for £19, I the customer was advised that I was “rude” refused a refund and told to post my views as they had never had a complaint!!! That just means that customer who doesn’t complain doesn’t come back. My house special Chow Mein was basically padded out with vegetables, 2 prawns 2 small pieces of chicken 1 piece of pork and 3 small pieces of beef, full of bean sprouts, onion and veg. I have photos to show which I was invited to post which I will do on Just Eat!

So much onion! The price has gone up along with the amount onion used to bulk out the dishes. The quality of this meal was bitterly disappointing and we will not be ordering again. £34 for two us? Nope, we’ll be spending our money elsewhere.

After spending £40+ Had a sauce missing,reported to just eat, not really a big deal but annoying at the time,tried to order a week after and restaurant refused our order twice I called restaurant and they said because I complained to just eat they refuse to deliver to me,after asking the restaurant to except my order the reused they really want to lose my custom over then having to refund a sauce and the amount of orders I have made with them is truly shocking and poor customer service very pathetic honestly can’t complain about the food but there service is poor if that’s how they treat a customer over there own mistake

Meat was a bit touch, only 5 dumplings lettuce with dumplings was rotten, but the portion size was very good.

Another excellent meal from Hong Kong House for our family gathering. The website menu is easy to use and gives a delivery time which was spot on. Would be really nice to have the restaurant open again.

Sweet and sour sauce excessively sweet and the curry was overloaded with mushrooms. Rare to criticise a favourite restaurant but the chef had an off night, obviously.
