Golden Wing Chinese Takeaway in Shepway

I decided to try the sweet and sour chicken balls, as I can usually tell how good a Chinese is by trying them first, have to say that they were piping hot and full of chicken inside, only thing was the sauce pot wasn't big enough it was the smallest one you usually get. I will definitely return to try something else off the menu soon

My back up Chinese take away in Folkestone. Food is good, although sometimes a touch salty or oily. But not bad enough to ruin the food, which is 9 times out of 10 perfect!

Nice Quality food. Best to phone through order before collection as not the quickest service. The last time I checked, they only delivered on certain days.

Horrible experience called up and asked for 3 meals.. got 2 delivered and was point blanked called a liar when I told her the 3rd was missing and that I only ordered 2 why would I order 2 if there was 3 people eating? Beyond me be careful before ordering from this restaurant! As clearly they need a lesson is customer service

Best chinese in Folkestone hands down

Tried this takeaway based on the Google reviews. Happy to say they are correct. Good sized portions. Really tasty and fresh. Staff very friendly. Unfortunately we live in the North West so will have to wait a year before we can go back!!

Lovely food and very polite staff. They coped well with a large order, for which there were several requests, such as no onion, no veg, etc., and it was exactly what we asked for. This has become our 'go to' Chinese Takeaway, because it's always hot, fresh and correct !

I have been buying takeaways from here because my usual Chinese doesn't do deliveries. The food quality is excellent, very tasty and good value for money. The lady who answers the phone is friendly and polite and so is their driver. Well worth buying your takeaway from here

Best Chinese take-away in Kent, never had a bad meal in all the years I have used them and their chips are really nice. Can't recommend them enough... (Moved 6 months ago and miss this Chinese, to the owners I was the 'Chicken balls and chips guy!)

Ruined evening. Pre-ordered food couldnt be collected as they couldnt take payment. Hungry guests, whilst the food went to waste.

Nice food, shame they don't deliver Friday or Saturday. Shame you can only pay by cash on delivery. At least you can pay by card if you collect it.

Great Chinese, best in Folkestone!

The shop itself may not look like you're gonna love it but this is AMAZING Chinese food. You can taste the freshness and that it's not bought in frozen stuff as per 98% of all Folkestone Chinese takeaways. The sweet and sour chicken balls are actual chicken here and not reformed frozen nastyness. Best Chinese takeaway in Folkestone, and yes , I am an expert here.

Food always good and plenty of it!

This unassuming little takeaway served me the best chicken satay I have had in a long time, along with divine spring rolls and egg fried rice. Hubby also enjoyed his beef and cashew nuts. I am now very full and very happy thank you

Wide variety of dishes all freshly prepared. Less greasy than other local Chinese takeaways I have tried. Would definitely recommend.

Very popular Chinese at a very good cost. Got lots of food which lasted both dinner and lunch the next day! Price is very reasonable for what you get. Starters were big and very fresh. Spring rolls were loaded to the brim.

This is without doubt the best Chinese. take away in Folkestone. I have used this take away for years and never had a bad experience which I don't think I can say for any other take away.

We chose this place as we wanted a quick take away. Our order when it arrived was not complete and when we queried it we were told we had not ordered that particular one. A little of putting . However the proof was in the final total package, a good quantity and quality meal for us both

A good Chinese take away, the menu is fairly standard but the food is consistent and enjoyable. Delivery is available but not on the busy nights of Friday and Saturday as I recall.

I order by phone and have a meal in minutes. Delivery is possible on some nights too. The menu is a good selection and is always good.

Absolutely horrific. Food was still RAW! Will honestly never eat from here again. The staff couldn't care less even when explained young children were going to be eating that meal. Please don't eat from here

I came into the takeaway today and proceeded to place my order which cost £6 I then asked for tissues to clean my hands "oh we don't have any" I then asked if you have some toilet roll so I can clean my hands!!! She refused to give me any saying u can have a refund!!! Then began moaning saying I wasted there food I said all I want is some tissue and the problem is solved never have I received treatment like this never again will I come to this shop again I'm appalled by this treatment

We used to use this take away regularly until they stopped delivering on Fridays and Saturdays. Due to the snow we've had none of the takeaways here were delivering so we decided to try the Golden Wing again. It seems they are seriously cutting back and not only on delivery costs. Very few prawns in the king prawn chow mein with ober cooked noodles, almost empty vegetable spring rolls. Skinny spare ribs with more bone than meat and well over cooked. The sweet and sour prawn balls were coated too thickly with batter and the size of the pot of sauce has been reduced by half since we last ate from there. However the flavour was not bad, but in future we will stick with the one we changed to for delivery.

We love this takeaway and have been using it for years,unfortunately they no longer do home delivery so we have gone elsewhere which isn’t as good.
