This has got to be one of the worst Chinese meals I have ever had ,I'm really not happy as I gave come up from london to see my mum and was really looking forward to a good bit of food . A complete waste of money , if I wasnt with my family I would have gone back to the restaurant for a refund .

The food was really good. I got it for my mum's birthday. I don't even like or eat Chinese food but liked this one a lot. The only reason it gets 4 star not 5 is they always forget the sweet and sour sauce for prawn balls lol.

Absolutely delicious,freshly cooked & very tasty food. Not greasy at all,would highly recommend. Been looking for a good takeaway for years ,so happy a friend recommended this one.

Having been to china I can honestly say mark and his team really know their stuff big time. Fantastic people skills, simply wonderful food. I can now see why other restaurants use this restaurant as a measure against. It’s simply the best Chinese in Kent.

Ordered through just eat but food didn’t arrive. Called restaurant twice and on both occasions we were told the food was being packed up and on its way, which was clearly a lie. After waiting two hours we requested refund via the app. Dreadful service.

I have been a loyal customer for years now.... Unfortunately the prices have gone up 25% in the last 9 months the portion sizes have come down drastically, I struggled to make 4 pancakes with a quarter duck which was oily sloppy duck not aromatic or crispy and the overall feeling was that of being tricked into parting with my money... they couldn't even provide chop sticks or a serviette... VERY POOR FORM!!!

Ordered for the first time today…definitely will be coming again! food is very tasty much better then 9 dragons….food wasn’t bland lots of onion just how I like it and nice prawns 👍

Used to be the best chinese that I have tried anywhere. Chef was amazing. Unfortunately the chef and wife have decided to return to China :( Having read others reviews since ownership change will not be using anymore. Update August 2021. Have decided to try it out. Unfortunately, the tofu in black bean sauce was completely tasteless and bland. No seasoning at all. Chow mien was nothing special, under seasoned. Shame as this was one of the best chinese takeaways ever. Not any more!

USED TO BE THE BEST not any more I had to call the restaurant as everything wasn't right, the spring rolls looked grey inside with only bean sprouts and was so salty we were choking on it! The sweet and sour chicken hong Kong style the sauce was minimal and transparent with no flavour , the smoked caramelised chicken wasn't that it had chilli's in it and resembled salt n chilli chicken, and the chkw mein was dry n no flavour .. Restaurant first told me they used different supplier, then later on in the call said they'd changed there chef BAD MOVE . YOUR NEW CHEF ISNT GREAT , PLEASE TELL US WHERE HE HAS GONE SO WE CAN ALL GET GOOD FOOD .

There are lots of Chinese takeaway in Folkestone and I have tried all of them but this woman was at the top of rudeness I think she doesn’t know that we are paying for your food we aren’t asking for free. doughnut

Used this place when our ‘usual ‘ was closed, not again, spring roll was like 1/2 cooked batter, & the ‘special chow mien ‘was dry ,+ the container was nowhere near full, not again sorry

After about 5 minutes of us looking for a Chinese that done collection we come across the “wok express” which managed to stand out to us. We ordered two large crispy spring rolls and within 15 minutes we got on the way to collect. When walking into wok express I was greeted at the front desk by a lovely lady who gave us our order! After being excited the car journey home to eat out crispy spring rolls we were sadly disappointed by thick batter-like roll filled with 99.8% of bean sprout.

So have used wok express for a number of years and thought I’d leave a review after my recent visit. This is by far my favourite Chinese the food is always prepared in good time and always full of flavour. On this visit I had the vermicelli rice noodles which were cooked perfectly and full of spice Have had a variety of dishes over time and not once have I been disappointed would definitely recommend

Absolutely hands down the BEST chinese we've ever had. Would never go anywhere else. The guy is incredible to watch while cooking your food too

I loved the curry at Wok Express! However it now just feels generic and dumbed down from the original. Is it home made or out of a mix/jar? I’d like to know. But, I’m also prepared to accept that the variety of take outs who are regional individual specific have upped expectations. This no longer works for me!

Ordered a meal. Waited over an hour. Rang them to see how much longer it was going to be. They told me they had cancelled the order as they were too busy! What a way to run a business! They did not even have the courtesy to ring me so I could order elsewhere. I will definitely AVOID them in future. Have given 1star only because there was nowhere to give 0 stars

Was a bit a sceptical after reading some reviews but really enjoyed our food, very tasty and will use again.

Received a takeaway from new wok the Chicken green pepper and Black bean was only 3/4s full and the sweet and sour dish was not that warm and had to be reheated as unable to get through to the takeaway. Not at all impressed .

Really disappointed! Ordered chicken curry and it was definitely undercooked! 🙊 Prawn balls were soggy as well, as though the batter was really under done and the prawns looked like they were just about cooked as well. The curry sauce was thick and gloopy, like there was too much powder added in when it was made. The chips were nice but after spending over £25 for the rest to be horrible that was one expensive portion of chips lol... Unfortunately will not be returning.

Have eaten from this take away for years but I will not be coming back. The meat is tough, no taste and portion size is less than adequate. This is not just a one off either, I have noticed a gradual decline over many months, I just wanted to be loyal.

This is still the best Chinese takeaway in town by far The singapor rice noodles are my favourite but any dish from here is superb. Keep up the good work and fab food Wok Express!!

The food were a bit pricey than your usual Chinese however, was quite nice. Very tender meat and flavorsome.

They list themselves as available to deliver on JustEat but cancel the order every single time. Don't waste your time trying to call them either as they do not answer the phone. Will spend money elsewhere.

We ordered takeaway from Just eat as we had a harassed day and needed comfort food which is a rarity & big treat. We found the food to be over greasy and very bland. King prawns were not king prawns...batter was kingsize...prawns were cocooned in there somewhere. Won't be using them again.

Chicken chow mien, struggled to find the chicken and cold. Old boot curry also known as beef curry. Say no more!!! Spring roll. Contained bean sprouts and a few drops of unidentifiable meat. Perfect for bludgeoning though! Even a steak knife struggled with that bad boy! Carrier bag was good quality though and didn't even cost me 5p!
