Very nice takeaway the beef dishes and the Prawn Toast was the best we have ever had. Best Chinese in the area.

Food from here is amazing, first time tonight but most definitely will our usual from now on! Omg the beef curry so nice savoury and tender beef, eggfried rice great! Not like windy hill (just boiled white rice) chowmein lovely and omg the pancake rolls best weve had!! Such lovely food! Will most definately be coming back! Great portions and most of all prices! Such quick service to.

Had a D meal for 4 plus a quarter crispy duck and king prawn dish and rice to feed six people for about £95. All really good and delivered for £2. Would highly recommend..

I never had a bad meal there until last night ! Had to go back and change one meal as ordered beef and was given pork ! Special chow mein only had chicken and pork in it Every thing was lukewarm So will now go back to dymchurch 😟

Visiting from London for a few days and found this little jewel tonight. Have to say we eat Chinese food regularly and this is by far one of the nicest and best quality food I’ve eaten in a while. Good portions nice and hot and really well cooked. Great flavour and plenty of meat in dishes. Lovely friendly staff on counter. Highly recommend

We've used Yongs several times but this time the food was not as good as previously. The chicken seemed a bit tough so maybe it had been reheated. We were all fine so no harm done. May try somewhere else next time though. The boys behind the counter were very good.

Holiday Takeaway Meal, on a recommendation from a member of staff on the Holiday Park, said they’d go to Yongs. Great Food but Is Cash Only

On holiday at nearby Marlie Holiday Park and asked a member of staff as a local which Chinese takeaway to go to, they recommended Yongs 8min’s up the road from the park. Food was big portions, tasty.

Absolutely fab food. I had a dish that has not been available in our home town for some time. It took me back years! Generous portions. 5 star prawn toast all made for a great experience whilst on holiday. We will certainly be visiting again. Staff and service 5 star too!

Avoid this place like the plague ordered earlier tonight when I put the food out on all the plates the sweet and sour sauce tasted disgusting and the sweet and sour chicken balls tasted like they had chemical taste to them when I complained asked to take the sauce back and would replace the food to be told don't bother ordering from them ever again after years of being a customer so like I say fook em 😞 best I can say in Chinese lol

Unfailingly delicious food, large portions and easily the best for miles and miles around with wonderful staff who know their food and actually listen to what you want, are happy to offer good advice regarding your choices if you ask and will cook food exactly as you like it. No fixed "get what you're given" menu here - if you don't want green peppers in your food, just ask, extra onion? No problem. Take the time to look through the photo booklet on the counter and you'll find that a real, genuinely talented Chef works here, Yongs clearly care about their food, this is shown by the loyalty of customers who know the food is worth the extra distance they travel. They don't offer free local delivery at present, but as their prices are competitive with others in the area who do, I can only imagine it's because they don't skimp on prices when buying their ingredients - and this shows in their food. Lastly, a tip: don't be put off by reviews on here moaning about waiting times as it's always busy on a Friday and Saturday night (where isn't?), instead perhaps try another night of the week and avoid any waiting, the food's still as delicious - it is allowed remember!

Easily a 5-star review from me - not just for the food that's unfailingly delicious and by far the best for miles and miles around, but also for the always-friendly service from the always-smiling, always happy to advise staff who clearly know what great food is! Worst Chinese I’ve ever had . I wouldn’t recommend to anyone . It took over an hour to get our food on a Tuesday night and the food was absolutely disappointing, disgusting and greasy. The pictures some it up!!! Do not go to this place unless you’re absolutely desperate

Very friendly service. The drive from Greatstone well worth it, the food is still so hot when arriving back and absolutely delicious. Extremely good portions, with the small amount of onions and not filled up with a load of onions or other veg to make it look more.

we rang and ordered food for 5 people and were told 1/2 hr got there on time and had to wait 20 more minutes that is the only reason I gave 4 not 5 stars as, I expect they were bust very large portions and can recommend the food if your are down this way

A really nice take away when you can get it especially on time, the first time I complained it was 20 minutes late, then they had the food hygiene inspector it was only 5 minutes late this was exceptional service, every time we get takeaway from here it’s late. Tonight it was nearly 15 minutes so I asked for my money back, sorry to complain, but if you say a time which you have always said not me, you should mean it and stick to it, not add additional time to suit you, my time is important just like yours is, please please please only order here if you don’t mind being dictated too, I don’t I walked, no more I had enough.

We popped in randomly and so glad we did. The lady on counter was really nice and gave us plenty of time to look at menu, kindly gave us plastic forks. The chicken chow mein was so tasty and the prawn toast was to die for! We weren’t waiting long either.

My parents are 75 years old and for my mums birthday I paid for a Chinese takeaway but this takeaway didn’t put the chicken balls in. This is the third time they’ve done this too them included the sauce but no chicken. This is terrible to treat pensioners this way.

Good price too.for the meal you get. I have moved to ashford but if i want a nice Chinese l'm willing in drive to my mum's chinese for a good meal

Very dissatisfied with my order today. I waited an hour for my food when I ordered in the morning for 7 pm and not ready till 8. While waiting i heard shouting and the sound of things being thrown across the kitchen. The staff out the front are extremely rude to the customers not dealing with complaints in a polite manner. I don’t recommend and you have lost a customer from tonight.

The pork dosh advertised as very hot not hot a all very disappointed plus kung p.o. chicken and Singapore noodles not spice at all paid £60 Very disappointed 4/10 only

We visit this place when we visit friends. I must say it’s the best Chinese we have ever tasted. All dishes we had was full of meat. The meat just melts in the mouth.

We visited this Chinese Take Away whilst on holiday in area. It is like a time warp inside ! The food was absolutely lovely 😊 a bit of a wait but well worth it.

Yongs take away in Jefferstone Lane, St Mery's Bay, Kent is, in my opinion the best Chinese take away in the area. Their portion sizes are enormous and very tasty. Unfortunately, they do not deliver, so you have to collect, but is well worth it.

I always use this place when we are in town. The lady is very friendly and the food is amazing. Best chinese in the area, won't go anywhere else!

the food was very poor mushroom curry was thick and gloopy chips tasted like they had been fried before set meal for 1 beef and mushrooms the beef rubbery and hard to chew rice tasted of fish chicken was under cooked we will not return to this take away

We have visited many Chinese take aways trying to find one which doesn’t cause my children’s sensitive stomach to be aggravated. Both my children were absolutely fine after eating from here. Great service with friendly staff. A little more pricey but well worth every penny.

Visited on Sunday 16th September, very pleasant young man aged approx 10 years old serving and taking phone orders, we used this Chinese due to reviews on trip advisor but was disappointed with reviews as they are incorrect, pancake rolls very doughy and thick batter full of beanshoots with very minimal meat, chicken balls same thick batter and beef and mushrooms beef inedible as very tough, chef needs to raise his cooking as this was very poor and we will not be returning

The food from Yongs is always nice with no no real complaints about quality or quantity but the waiting is sometimes dreadful. I have on more than one occasion telephoned an order to be told it would be ready for collection in half hour but on arrival found a shop full of people and kept waiting for over an hour! Quite disorganized and often orders taken and issued by a young boy who is extremely polite and does a fantastic job for one so young!

Always order from this Chinese no where else, such amazing food expecially the rainbow chicken! Me and my family have been going here for so many years, and can not fault it one bit! Many people moan about the waiting time, I just think it’s so nice so many people order! Perfect and staff always nice and friendly, 5 stars all the time. I also recommend this place to everyone I know!

Long wait for food but good cooking

We normally use our local Chinese but tonight we couldn't go and collect it, so after reading a fb feed I saw that yungs offered a delivery service. Well I must say, what a fabulous meal we've just eaten, and will eat again tomorrow. There was more than enough to feed an army on, we've made it last 2 nights, this never happened in our local take away. The food is great, delivery charge is minimal and food was very tasty and not greasy at all. I would highly recommend this place, in fact, I cannnot recommend them highly enough. Very friendly staff and fantastic value for money. Will definitely be using Yungs from now on.

We got a takeaway in June from here and it was the best chinese food ive ever tasted. The chow mein was absolutely delicious and the chinese pork spot on!

Delicious food and really easy to cater for food allergies with their well laid out menu detailing potential allergens in each dish. Really friendly staff and good value.

Estoy realmente siento decir esto, porque soy un partidario orgulloso de normalmente empresas locales, pero hemos probado este llevar un par de veces, porque vivimos en la misma calle, y cada vez ha sido horrible. La última vez que fuimos a este lugar, nos tiró todo en la papelera. El curry fue simplemente horrorosa y ni siquiera nuestros perros sin comer. Siempre calculo que si todo lo demás fallaba, al menos la carne Chow Mein era comestible, pero en nuestra hora final, ni siquiera que era comestible. Nunca volveré ahora, a pesar de la conveniencia de ser sólo un minuto a pie del hotel.

Best Chinese I have ever had. So good!

You have to wait a long time to get your food, even if you telephone your order in but this is the best Chinese takeaway I have been too. Even beating my local which I am pleased to say is very good in Sheppey. The wife has even suggested taking a day trip the area so she can finish it off lovely by getting a meal from here. The pancake rolls are massive. The crispy shredded beef is excellent. and chow mien is the best I have had. Friendly staff with a great atmosphere (yes we are talking about a takeaway!) with the staff and locals whom frequent this establishment

Average Chinese food with big portions and lots of free Fortune cookies and a free sweet. The sauces were very sweet and gloopy. just about OK but very average for a takeaway.
