I do not cook at all when The Penny Black is open ! I feel really sorry for cafes and restaurants like this ! It's not their fault that they are unable to open up at the moment still ! The Post office is an integral part of the Burry Port community and as such will have struggled to retain their loyal clientele! Not everyone is,driven by price but as I intend to eat there 3 or 4 times a week , still, I'm very grateful that the prices are priced really realistically , as I'm single and only on my works pension, still ! Lovely meal, just what you need after a long walk!

We had a fab meal at the Ship, the food and team were both brilliant & if you like a burger - than you HAVE to try something from the little Mo’s menu. I didn’t get the name of the landlord, but he was super friendly and a proper publican. We’d head back in a heartbeat.

Just back from a lovely Sunday Lunch at The Pemberton Arms, there was even a menu for the dog, although as he has no money of his own he was out of luck! Louisa was very polite and helpful, will definitely call again.

Spotted this fish and chips bar on trip advisor last Thursday and thought we would give it a go. We arrived 15 minutes before closing but the gentlemen was absolutely brilliant. We got chatting about knowing people from the Forest of Dean whilst the food was cooked fresh and was completely delicious. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the Burry Port area.
