My wife and I had 2 fries. They were delicious and really good value for money. Set us up nicely for the day. Will definitely be back

We have just had an amazing Sunday lunch at the Tartine in Bushmills. The menu is really creative, especially for vegetarians and vegans, with two veggie and one vegan starter, one veggie and two vegan mains and six deserts, one of which was vegan. had the red wine poached pear starter which was light and full of flavour, followed by the Tomato and basil Tofu crumb. My wife had the Beef Brisket, which she really enjoyed as the meat just fell apart. The mains came with seasonal vegetables and roast and mash potatoes. The tofu crumb was so light and flavoursome. The meals were full of flavour, perfect roast potatoes, creamy light mash and vegetables still holding their crunch. We were defeated by the portions and despite the deserts looking equally exciting as the starters and mains, we had to decile. First class service from the staff who seemed to love their work and great classic cooking all round. The restaurant was light and welcoming, as was the ambience enhanced by the right level and selection of the background music. A perfect experience and it must be the best restaurant in the area and the best meal we have had over the last twelve days touring Ireland, and we have had some excellent meals.

Will never be back. Waited almost an hour on our food only to be told there was a mix up ( a staff member “must have been distracted” our order wasn’t placed. When it was noticed our food hadn’t come a young waitress went to find out. Were told it could be another 10 minutes. Manageress was called, apologised but we were so disgusted we left. The bones of the building are lovely. The interior is stuck in the dark ages. Crying out for a complete refurb.

Best Seafood Chowder ever!! Wheaten bread only makes it better. This place can get crowded but the food being so good is the reason why. Pay at the counter, sit with new friends.

Really perfect, lightly battered cod. Not greasy. Got chips with cheese and gravy... Soo good. You could do with someone friendlier at front counter tho 9.9 out of 10.
