Nei dintorni del Sentiero dei Giganti questo albergo ristorante offre ottimo cibo tipico irlandese, un servizio corretto e cortese, ad un prezzo onesto.

Beautiful location, but the food, and service from the Duty Manager was awful. When he asked how our food was I explained the burger wasn’t nice (I had less than a 1/4 of it) and the chips were not 3 times cooked as they were solid in the middle. He just stood and stared at me and I had to ask him to take my plate away. No apology was made and I wasn’t asked if I wanted anything else. I do now wish I’d taken a photo of the meal now. We did get a pic of my friends ‘mash’ which would have been placed as wall filler. When the bill came I asked Tim (lovely waiter) why the burger was on the bill. He said he’d remove it. 2 minutes later the angry Duty Manager returned to tell me I’d ‘only’ complained about the chips and had ate half the burger so it wasn’t being removed, which just wasn’t true. He begrudgingly said the 10% service charge had been removed. The other 3 in my party weren’t all that happy with theirs, but didn’t think it worth complaining due to his attitude. It was only Tim that apologised for the poor meal. Definitely wouldn’t return, which is a shame as they could make this into something lovely for visitors.

The Causeway Hotel was a lovely place for two weary travelers. My husband and I landed in Dublin (flight from Boston) at 7:45am, rented a car and headed north. After settling in to our room and exploring the Causeway, we enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Causeway Hotel. We had an early breakfast there too (with great vegan options) which allowed us to walk down to the Causeway well before tour busses and crowds arrived. The carpark at the Causeway is open from 9am-5pm, so by staying at the hotel, you can walk to the Causeway at off times when it’s not so busy. I would recommend not paying the extra for a sea view as it is very far away, and your main view is the hotel parking lot.

This place has gone downhill so badly. I remember the hotel before it was franchised out by The National Trust I was there for dinner with 3 friends. Menu looked fine Very little local produce--apart from fish and Coleraine Cheddar Service poor--run by children bar 1 senior member of staff. Food quality poor--Garlic cheesy bread at nearly £9--awful. Mushroom in cheesy sauce--very few mushrooms. Chicken was tasty Asked for ice 3 times Asked for butter twice-it had not arrived with the salmon roulade It needs a more local flavour--Irish Champ !! Pie with Stout Steak with a Bushmills Sauce--A few examples

We have just returned from a family weekend at this hotel and honestly could not fault it! The location is perfect and a great base point for visiting so many other places. It is easy to access and has a very large carpark which means there is never an issue. It is right on the doorstep of The Giants Causeway and being a resident at the hotel gives you free access to the Giants Causeway Visitor Centre which is also great. The rooms were very spacious and are cleaned daily with a large selection of towels in each room and a great array of toiletries. The facilities are great and we were in both the bar and restaurant and the food was amazing. However what really makes this hotel is the staff - they can not do enough for you from the front of house staff to the restaurant staff - all of which work long hours but always had a smile on their face. Will honestly be back and my in laws stayed with us and have said the same (and they are very hard to please!)

We have just had a fabulous weekend break at the Causeway Hotel. The hotel itself is very charming with lots of original features and of course a stunning setting. The weekend break includes entry to the Giant's Causeway which is a great added bonus. The food at the hotel is superb but what really sets it apart is the service. The staff are outstanding and worthy of a special mention. I would highly recommend a stay here and take the chance to explore the beautiful North Coast at the same time.

I just want to say that I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this wee hotel on the Antrim coast. Everything about our experience was exceptional. From check-in to breakfast and dinner each evening. The staff were extremely lovely. Warm and friendly and you could see that at times they were run off their feet but it was never a problem. The room was very cozy and we had a lovely view of the coast. The walks and views are breathtaking. Took a lovely walk along the headlands to the next village and on to Bushmills. I look forward to returning over the winter.

Firstly location is key here. Great spot for walkers and sightseers and causeway tours. We arrived on a Sunday and it was absolutely packed. We received a lovely warm welcome from the staff manager and made to feel very welcome. She went out of her way to arrange a late lunch as we had travelled a long way. Booked two rooms as we have teenagers. Both rooms very tidy and had a balcony but sadly no chairs to sit outside which is a shame. Beds are not very comfortable and pillows were very hard and lumpy. The hotel is old world charm and gives you a cosy feel. Nicely decorated. Sadly food is not good. This lets the hotel down as the food isn't cheap. However we felt the accommodation was value for money as its very central to lots of nice places. Visited Portrush and the stunning nearby beach so location was great. Scary walks around the local cliffs not for the faint hearted but I'm a bit afraid of heights! Lovely staff and great location but you may want to eat out

As the only National Trust hotel, it’s the no-brainer for the actual Causeway, being the closest and with the Visitor Centre as part of the site too. Rooms are spacious and warm, people are so polite and friendly, so they are. Get room 31 if you can, great views and a terrace. Ps. Staying here gets you free entry into the Visitor Centre. Highly recommended. Great base for visiting all the Game of Thrones locations too! Magical.

Fantastically located at the car park/start of the walk to the Giants Causeway. The staff (we had Jessica) were friendly professional and nothing was a problem. We enjoyed a lovely slice of cake and coffee before enjoying our 90 minute walk around the amazing Giants steps. By doing this we were able to park in the Hotels car park, which avoids the 12 pound parking fee, and gave us a lovely snack for 6 pounds (a saving on parking a lovely coffee and snack!)

Arrived in with a group and everyone throughly enjoyed their meal. Had no problem getting a table, especially since it was a Saturday and there were plenty of people about. They only had about a dozen options on the lunch menu, but there's something for everyone, and everything's done well. The staff were helpful and friendly. The guy who took our drinks order got a little muddled up, but someone came and sorted it out quickly and easily.

To the dismay of one member of staff we were shown into the breakfast room.Eventually someone came and told us we could help ourselves to the continental and that there was also a cooked option in addition for the sun of £9.95 each. Not a bad price for continental and cooked . Although there was nothing left on the continental ( please see the attached picture ) there were not even any glasses for the fruit juice. I requested the glass and two were taken to my table ? so I went back to my table and then tool them to the buffet to fill up.My busnad had the cooked breakfast which was missing the black and white pudding. I utilised my napkin to soak up the puddle of water my poached eggs sat in. A very dissapibtibf experience but they have a captive audience. If I were to come again I would go the extra mile to bushmills where there are a couple of cafes .The waitress has also asked 3 times for our room number even though every time we tell her we are walk ins.

The entire staff pays no notice of you until they went to herd do you like cattle into one specific area, paying no mind you’re bothering to ask what you’re actually there for. I actually just wanted to sit at the bar and have a beer while my friends went to the Giants Causeway… I’ve been here probably three dozen times in my life but before now I’ve always been treated like a human being.I was the first one seated at the bar but the bartender, a man in his mid-30s with short dark hair was busy having a chat with another employeeA good publican would’ve had to have an eye on the bar to see who was there and see who the new arrivals were… But not this guy .So when he was done socializing he came over to the nearest person to him, the newest arrivals, And asked what I’d like to have. Meanwhile the three people who were seated and waiting where ignored. I said ‘excuse me, we’ve been sitting here a long while and would like to order a drink but you walked up to the last people to arrive’. He replied “that’s OK. Don’t worry about it ‘. You know what, with all the promotion Northern Ireland is doing for tourism,… With all the uncertainty and unrest about Brexit and how it’s going to affect them… Do you think he might’ve been instructed to take this as an opportunity to gain goodwill but no ...Lesson learned… I’ll spend my USD where they’re kind and where they treat you with dignity, and I’ll let the Northern Ireland continue to finance this rude behavior.

A perfect start to our trip to the Giants Causeway. It’s been a few years since our last visit here and it’s always a tradition for us to call into the hotel for food before we venture the causeway walk. From the moment we walked in we where made feel so welcome and the young lady brought us to a lovely table and made us feel so welcome and our food was absolutely fabulous. Our little girl asked for juice and we just asked for orange but our little girl then decided she wanted orange juice but the lady had gone to fetch our drinks and the young lady overheard our little one talking about pink juice and she came with it she was as delighted. We could not fault the place. Fabulous as always and extremely friendly staff. We can’t wait to venture back and fingers crossed we will come stay a few nights when our little family become 4. X

We received several recommendations from the Irish to eat at the hotel so that we did not have to pay to park to see the Giants Causeway. It was worth it. We did not stay there though. Besides the drinks, we had a seafood chowder; a burger; a chicken burger, chicken pasta and 2 open prawn sandwiches. It was all good.

Don't usually eat at places like this near to tourist attractions as they're usually average and overpriced, but after a full morning at Carrick-a-Rede and the Causeway we needed some quick and easy food. We got what we could have expected.

Ate here for lunch in September 2018 during our day trip to the North Antrim Coast. Both food and service were excellent - and reasonably priced in the pub area of this restaurant. We were lucky to get a good table in the pub, since it was quite busy with tour buses and other tourist visitors. Would very happily eat here again for lunch another time.

Went to the hotel with my young family for a mini break. We arrived in the afternoon and decided to get a drink at the bar. One of the drinks was a glass of red cab sav wine and it tasted bad. Next morning we had breakfast and ordered 2 causeway grill breakfasts. The eggs were hard fried the soda and potato bread was saturated in fat the mushrooms was crimated and the cold buffett table ran out of orange juice, pastries, bowls and glasses we had to keep asking for things replaced. The staff are lovely make the best out of a bad situation. Things were not organised right and definately needs alot of improving. The room was nice and comfortable but the bath wasnt up to scratch with proper warm water had to get maintainence up but they couldnt fix it so eventually got the shower warm and filled the bath up. Overall experience so under welmed definately not rush back.

We visited the restaurant after a lovely afternoon at the causeway. The service was less than desireable unfortunately, the restaurant only had 2 other tables and we waited over 10 minutes to have someone take our drink order and then did not receive those drinks for another 20 minutes post order. The food was delicious and worth it in the end.

We stayed for one night last in September on a really stormy night. The room was really nice, spacious, clean, well appointed. BUT the water was not hot enough to run a bath and we both really wanted a log soak in a very hot tub. The explanation was apparently that their were so many guests the BioMass boiler could not keep up.

Stayed here one night on a very short break. Room very well designed and spacious, and thoroughly relaxing. On entering the hotel there was a smell of cooked food, so I wasn't expecting much at dinner. The meal was a surprise and very tasty, cooked to a high standard and thoroughly enjoyable. staff were all very polite and friendly without over stepping the mark. I would suggest tourists go around hotel to get to Giant's Causeway, but hotel stay does include a pass to visitors centre. Only downside was they waiting staff could not find a corkscrew to open bottle of wine.

This is a great chippy! We arrived on the ferry in the evening into Belfast and went straight to Flash in Bushmills before heading to our hotel in Portrush! Delicious, non-greasy chips and great curry sauce. I usually have chips cheese & gravy but the portion is enormous so went for a small option before bed!! Spotlessly clean and friendly, welcoming staff. See you next time we're over!
