The best restaurants serving British food in North Bay Scarborough Yorkshire and The Humber

Popped in here for lunch on Saturday 27-08-22. So impressed. Good quality ingredients, reasonably priced. Home made pies,quiche. So good went back half an hour later and purchased takeaway salad for tea as well!!! Service and staff first rate.

The view restaurant @ the Delmont hotel, a hidden jem that must be visited. Booked for the gala new years eve dinner, and wow. The best food in any restaurant that i have ever tasted. Each course was perfection and served by excellent friendly waitress,s where nothing was too much trouble. A must try restaurant, you won,t be disappointed.

La ensalada que la acompañaba era particularmente sabrosa y fresca. Una buena y gran olla de té para acompañarlo. Ha habido una reforma del local desde mi última visita, ahora se ve genial y creo que tiene más mesas, perfectas para los meses de invierno cuando todo el mundo quiere sentarse dentro. Servicio agradable y rápido también.

Exactly what you'd expect a greasy spoon cafe. Great pricing and quality for what you are paying. Been several times, last visit menu was very limited not sure why. My only criticism, is each time I've gone it seems the owners child is cared for in the cafe? Just feel the child is bored and so plays up, which customers have to listen to. this is no reflection on the cafe as a whole

Very poor quality food for the price. The vegan burger was tasteless and greasy. The bacon butty was fatty and greasy and the ham in the toasty wasn't very fresh. We will certainly think twice before eating there again.

We were walking through Scarborough as part of our hike along the Cleveland Way and after walking past the Beach Huts in North, heading towards South Bay, we were on the lookout for somewhere to grab a quick meal. Everywhere seemed crazy busy, but luckily we found this place without a queue - possibly now I understand why no queue though as just wasn't great. My husband's small fish was huge! but he didn't enjoy so ate less than half. My battered sausage and chips was good/average quality, but the sausage was teeny! Still, we ate enough to fill our bellies so we could continue on our walk.

Llamado para pescado y patatas fritas para compartir - £ 10. Abrió la caja para encontrar el pescado en tres piezas. Sabor a aceite rancio tanto para pescado como para patatas fritas. Verdaderamente el peor pescado con papas fritas que he comido.
