Fantastic service and a lovely little spot near the coast for ice cream. The staff were incredibly clued up on allergies and got a completely new tub of ice cream out and a fresh scoop so there would be no cross contamination.

We came here most days for ice cream. My 9 year old loved it! However, the staff were never particularly friendly, made you feel like it was a chore to serve us.

We ordered two coffees and two German cream scones the scones was absolutely disgusting so I took them back told them very politely they they was dry and disgusting she said that was Fresh this morning what can we do about it and walked off very rude never offered to look at the scones or offer replacement or money or something for the next visit but to my afraid there will be no next visit very rude

Roomy, clean, comfy outdoor seating, dog friendly. Ordered scones and hot drinks, arrived quickly and were fruity and tasty. Hot chocolate with cream and mini-marshmallows on top was a real treat. ☺️ Customer toilet was clean and accessible. Will be back for more light bites before our holiday ends.

Coffee took some time to come when it did it was good . Husband had a cookie which didn't last long 😊. Gluten free options where available (chocolate brownie if you know you know) which actually lood good sadly in an area with gluten options so not for me.Toilets very nice .

Ordered a latte from this place for £3.60, the beans tasted horrible, not even worth £2.00 for a miserable coffee experience. Get better beans and maybe the price will be justified. The ice cream is very nice though.

Fabulous ice cream shop, we visited twice while on holiday for a week in Scarborough. Highly recommend the ice cream, lots of choice of flavours, with enough to please everyone and felt good value.

Have visited this ice cream parlour few times during our stay in North Yorkshire and each time their products appeared to be of the top quality. It appears to be quite busy place regardless time of the day and it's priced very reasonably. Have read opinion about rudeness amongst staff, which can be somehow justified in regards to one staff member only from my personal experience. Though, it was not big issue for us. Nevertheless, this ice cream parlour sells probably the best ice-cream in Scarborough.

Family road trip to Jewel of the East Coast...well it is Yorkshire ... after a nice walk and picking up the children... they needed something to eat...stopped here - all very nicely presented. Assume a family run business - very clean and a nice little seating area.Sandwich, Sausage Rolls, Cakes and Drinks - £19.00 for 5 of us... oh forgot Ice Cream.. Thanks a lot great service and food.

Great place for a ice cream and cake they do lovely coffee aswell to take out perfect when you are out walking on the north bay

Food was cold and the delivery driver was just so rude. Should have put the ice cream and whipped cream in a separate bag from the 'hot' food as it was all melted by the time it arrived. The Cookie dough was barely warm and the toppings were stale. Not worth the money wasn't even cookie dough really

Used to go here specially for a milk shake.Went this week and it had changed but not for the better.The inside was devoted to the staff and freezers only. No sating as there used to be.Just a few tables outside with no coverings from the elements.We even had to Covid-19 secure our own table, no attempt by staff to do this.My wife's banana milk shake was at best insipid. It had no ice cream where it used to have flavoured ice cream. My strawberry one was similarly lacking ice cream, disgusting quality compared to previous experiences. Yet the price was over 140% of that at a nearby cafe where the quality was over 500% better.No return visit now.

Lovely place for ice cream coffee or desserts even had a vegan option for my partner which was brownie & vegan icecream brill xxx thanks we'll be back again soon

Always had great ice cream here but recently been disappointed, the maple and walnut ice cream we had last week was very grainy, I put this down to maybe powdered walnut then had mint choc chip today and that was even worse, like eating sand not a pleasant experience and ended up putting in the bin, for the price I expect better quality

By far the best ice cream I had on my visit to Scarborough. There is a great range of flavours available and the prices are very reasonable.

I've been here twice since moving to Scarborough and both times the ice cream was wonderful! Definitely one of the best ice creams I've ever had - they have great choices and most of them are gluten-free too! The service is fast and friendly, and they now have the option of card payments. Just to note though, this cafe is only serving takeaways for the time being due to COVID, but don't let that put you off as there's plenty of outdoor seating nearby near the beach.I'll definitely be back for more ice cream...and maybe try out their caramel shortbread too!

As a coffee & cake addict, it is essential to get a daily fix when on holiday. This venue within the north bay is certainly worth a visit and under normal circumstances would be lovely to sit in. However, during the COVID-19 outbreak, this venue is only offering take away services. Within this venue you can have a selection of Coffees with a wide range of cakes & treats available also. This establishment also offers some lovely ice cream & unique cones (which our daughter loved). This is also a very reasonably priced venue which did not cost as much as I was expecting at all. Situated just outside Peasholm park & staffed by very friendly staff, this is a must visit!

Always call here for an ice cream on our way to Peasholm park, they have a wide range of flavours and at reasonable prices

Visited cafe for lunch and had gorgeous paninis,cakes and hot chocolate. Very tasty snacks and friendly staff. Also had bacon butties to takeaway which were great too. Would definitely recommend after a walk in the park or along the seafront.

The food is actually ok here but the staff especially the older lady preparing the food is very unfriendly . So many staff in such a small place but stood about chatting . 5 staff working - there’s only about 7 tables The coffee cups were only half full and they are very rigid in what they will prepare for you with regards to food Beans on toast after 12 o clock has to be a child’s portion as an adults portion is on the breakfast menu which stops at midday !!! Have you ever heard anything so ridiculous ?? My dad who is 72 and my 10 year old and my 4 year old all had a child’s portion of beans on toast for lunch . Everything feels tense in the cafe - forever moving tables about . Come on peaches and cream - you could run this a lot slicker and a lot friendlier !!

We stopped here after a trip to the park on our way to the beach - a good coffee spot in a handy location also.

Called in here after a walk round Peasholme Park Staff really helpful and friendly and food was excellent

We called here on a chilly afternoon for a warming drink, I had the worst hot chocolate ever, I would have complained if the staff hadn't all been chatting. Not wanting to interup or cause a scene I left it. Staff noticeably were reserving tables for family members, chatting and not aware what was happening in the cafe or if the tables were cleared and cleaned. Not the cheapest place either, will not be going there again

Just a few meters away from the sea front, this is a lovely little spot for coffee or a snack/ice cream and a sit down. We ordered coffees to go and they were served quickly, reasonably priced and very good.

Great cup of tea good atmosphere lovely brownies dry dogs only no double push chairs or scooters allowed .

We stopped in today whilst having a stroll on the front. Opted for the 'Afternoon Tea' which consists of sandwich, scone, cake and drink. We opted for the extra £1 to have toasted sandwiches.

We went to this establishment with 4 exited children. You would think an establishment that sells ice cream would welcome children......

A heavy shower was about to fall so I called in here for shelter. I had a mug of tea and a mince pie. It is a charming place with friendly staff

Lovely little coffee shop with absolutely delicious range of proper homemade cakes, cut into very generous slices! The coffee & walnut cake was yummy, with nuts baked into the cake and not just dotted on top of a coffee cake which is so often the case.

Pot of tea served promptly , nice quality , sadly the male server wiped his nose with his hand and then touched his hair , no washing of hands before he then served ice-cream

This is a lovely café. The ice cream is delicious and we enjoyed the tea and coffee. It is in a good position between Peasholm Park and the mini golf course on the seafront

My friend and I shared an afternoon tea and we were surprised to find that it was plenty to satisfy us. I think it was the owner who served us and she had given us an extra scone which was such a lovely touch and one of those things that really make the difference when it comes to customer service!

this is right at the end of the bus route which traels form the prom at Scarborough to North Bay, so very convenient! Good scones and decent tea - as well as serving ice cream

Looks nice from the outside and seemed that there were some nice tempting treats.

Went for afternoon tea as a birthday treat and what a fabulous treat is was. Although busy staff were polite and service was prompt. Upgraded to a panini and wasn’t disappointed. Would definitely recommend.

We sat outside and only had drinks, but we were impressed with the pleasant staff, reasonable prices and copious amounts of tea! A lovely view as well. We were please to find this cafe.

Staff all friendly and helpful. Lovely inside and outside areas with dog friendly facilities. Bowl out for the thirsty dogs. Ice cream is fabulous with plenty of choice. Likewise plenty of hot or cold drinks. Just go and try it for yourselves.

Couldn’t find a table inside or out. We preferred to sit out with our dogs so managed to find 2 chairs but no table. I went to order, super easy order of one latte & one ice cream cone. Paid then was given a stick with a number on for the coffee & asked to join another queue for my ice cream cone. Problem with this being there was one queue already at the outside serving hatch as well as the one inside which I joined. By this time the girl who was making the latte had finished it & I was still waiting for my cone with the number stick in my hand! So I had to leave the queue to get the coffee & simply wasn’t prepared to queue again so asked the original girl I paid to please get my ice cone. What a stupid system. Inside is far too small to even work as a cafe so god knows what it’s like in winter. One women was almost sat in the toilet having her lunch on the seat where the toilet door opened!! By the time I got outside to my husband he had secured a table but it was full of cups, plates ect & no one came to clean it. The only staff I saw were all super young & no idea who was in charge but it needs a manager. One little very very old lady then began to clear the tables.

Lovely ice cream. We had peahes and cream and strawberry. Unfortunately the corner was soft and chewy as if it was left over from last year. P.

Tried this establishment today primarily because of all the positive reviews. Must say on balance that our experience was equally as positive. Peaches and Cream hasnt got as good a site as other establishments in the area, but in my view they have a clear idea of their target market. Coffee/Tea CAKE a massive selection thereof and light snacks very much the order of the day. My wife and I had a toastie each and a nice cup of tea. As well as cakes they have a massive selection of ice cream to tempt passers by. The staff were excellent all in all a 5 star experience.

we decided to go for a walk around the sea front as it was a nice day and we decided to stop for coffee we sat out side the caféw hich was nice and it is is a little off the sea front near the Peasham gardens they also do food and other drinks

We come here every year. Lovely large ice creams and drinks and very friendly staff. It is very close to Scarborough North Bay.

My girlfriend (the Ice Cream fanatic) and I visited this cafe on recommendation. We were not disappointed. We both had ice cream sundaes and they were delicious. Excellent value for money too. Next time it will be the afternoon tea as they looked very nice too. Good work!!

Lovely coffee, cake and scone. We sat outside in the sun on lovely decking whilst the kids watched the crazy golf next door. Staff pleasant. Great selection of ice cream, my daughter had caramel honeycomb which was yummy.

Decided to give this place a try as we had heard good reviews about it, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the Strawberry sensation was amazing, my wife had the Peaches 'n' cream special and our daughter had the Toffee sundae, which were all delicious, the price was a little on the high side but we you've got to enjoy yourselves when on holiday, haven't you?

Our first stop off on our day out in Scarborough, just what we needed a coffee and biscuit, friendly staff and clean and tidy cafe, reasonably priced too.

Stopped off here for tea & scones, recommended to us on the open topped bus. Not disappointed, fresh baked scones with butter & jam & pot of tea whilst watching the world go by. What's not to like.....

This cafe was clean and we were served by two younger members of staff who were both very efficient and pleasant. What did I really like ? Well, there were two elderly ladies reminiscing about North Bay and the owner (I think it was the owner) did not ignore them when they asked her about the cafe being a gift shop once. So often I see grumpy staff in places that just do not have the time of day for the elderly and so I liked it that in this instance, the owner just having that little chat with the two elderly ladies clearly made their day as they took their trip down memory lane. “Isn’t it lovely to get out like this and have people talk to us, we’ve met some lovely people in here today haven’t we ?” one said to the other.

Whilst spending the weekend in Scarborough, we popped into Peaches and Cream for a coffee one afternoon and were so impressed with the place we went back for ice cream sundaes the next day. Friendly staff with a wide choice of ice cream flavours as well a few savoury offerings and cakes. We’ll definitely be back when in the area next.

We stopped off for ice cream and couldn’t fault the place. Nice service and tasty ice cream (Lotus biscuits Bisc Coffee) is a winner!

This was our second visit and we definitely weren’t disappointed. My husband and I shared a large pot of tea and a flapjack, both hit the spot. My daughters had ice cream which they both said was delicious. We will definitely go back and would recommend highly.

We visited again after a long while as we were not impressed the first time. We were not impressed again. We had 2 drinks both of which were quite weak and not very tasty and 2 ice creams both of which tasted like the ice cream had been sat on display for too long. It was also very expensive we will not be returning.

Just popped in for a cuppa. It was busy. The girls serving were excellent, working harder than the person in charge!

We tried the brownies, Delicious, and then saw the Ice cream specials on the menu - Very pleased with the Knickerbocker Glory. Good coffee and a happy friendly atmosphere, so no surprise that its busy!

great little cafe not overly big inside but seating outside also so plenty of seats in good weather very popular hard to get in sometimes great food and service all family catered for ice cream bar also

Me and my other half visited here this afternoon and we ordered the kinder bueno milkshakes which were absolutely amazing! followed by 2 tasty panini’s. Staff were so polite and welcoming and we will definitely be coming again. Thank you for the lovely service :) 10/10.

We eat here every time we visit Scarborough. The food is delicious. We had a ploughmans lunch, afternoon tea for one, two toasties and a bubblegum monster sundae, absolutely delish. Excellent service, as always, cafe is clean and there is a clean loo as well. The cafe is small so get there early to avoid disappointment. There are high chairs for youngsters but you'll need to park the buggy outside. The coffee and hot chocolate are lovely and there's a huge choice of ice creams all at affordable prices, eat in or take away. Child and doggy friendly a great place for young and old. Go on, treat yourself, you won't be disappointed.

We visited on Saturday. The cafe looks much nicer from the outside. Inside, the decor was tired although very clean.

Simple cafe offering light meals and cakes and coffees. Small place with acceptable service. Nite far from the promenade so nice place to stop for a break.

Blackboard in window clearly states open until 4pm. Went in at 2:50pm to be by staff that "they had just closed". It was quite obvious that they didn't want the inconvenience of actually having to serve people. I think the owners should take note that this is not likely to the most successful of business models !

If you like a clean table and attentive staff then give this place a miss!

Ice cream sundae, we decided to treat ourselves and this place looked just the ticket.

Earlier today 6 of us (inc 4 generations of same family-oldest being 102 yrs old) approached the cafe wanting a warm drink. A lady met us at the door & told us they were just closing despite an open sign on the door.

Been walking past this place for years when we are in Scarborough and never called in h til now. We only had 2 Lattes it these wee hot and delicious, staff were polite and friendly. Couldn't fault anything.

We called in here as it was the only café in the area . Décor and layout was nice . That was the good points .

Called with the dog and were invited inside. Had two lovely sundaes one banofee bonanza and one peaches and cream yum is, good job we are on holiday and having a treat, very Morris’s.

Well we decided to stop here on route back home after visiting Whitby. The beach was lovely, a bit windy but nice strolling back round we pasted a posh crazy golf area before reaching Peaches n Cream they don't except card payments and seats on a dull day is limited. The place deals mainly with ice cream related products we had a mint choc chip milkshake which was very refreshing. I had a salted caramel milkshake very nice both arrived in a kilner jar both were £7 worth a visit

Visited last year and returned on a couple of occasions this year and wasn’t disappointed. Very friendly staff and the food is beautiful. Highly recommend this little gem!!

There was a wonderful choice of flavours, I chose English butter toffee it had chunks of toffee in. It was a good price and service was quick. Ice-cream melted very quick.

Called in here around 4pm as saw it was very popular. Ice cream was lovely and plenty of flavours. Only negative was it seemed a little chaotic, and baby changing mat was very grubby. Sadly probably due to customers not treating with respect. Sure it’s a lot quieter outside the school hols!

We spotted this place after a walk from the South Bay then a couple of hours on the beach. We were all ready for a drink and a snack. It was quite busy but we managed to find a table outside. I went into order, I was told someone would bring the drinks out when they were done. The hot drinks came out promptly after I sat down. The food was very quick too. I had to go and ask for cutlery tho. After we had finished our food we had to go in and ask what had happened to the milkshakes. To be told no one has done them so they would start them and bring them out. More organisation need I think.

We had a lovely stop off at this lovely cafe which has friendly helpful staff, lovely cakes and choice of ice creams. Could do stronger lattes.

Review based on simply calling for ice cream. Clean and tidy premises with pleasant staff. Our party of four had a variety of different flavoured ice creams and all agreed that it was great ice cream.
