Ghent work We had stopped only half an hour ago.. Naturally we didn't even have cash, we had taken food to pay the account, but when we noticed the Punjabi man.. the brother did not take even a single rupee of the food.. live brother.. must visit if you are nearby..

The best Sunday lunch in the area (by which I mean Oswestry / Shrewsbury / Welshpool) hands down. The salt-cooked swede, the roast parsnip, the perfect roast potatoes, the gravy - bloody great.

We came on recommendation from a friend. My partner was treating me for valentine 💘. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious, hot and well presented. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a blue steak which was warm all the way through and melted in my mouth. My partner enjoyed his steak too, said it’s the best steak he’s had in 5 years 😊😋. I’d like to say a big thank you for a lovely last minute meal as I only phoned for a table 4 1/2 hours earlier 🙏. The pub area looked fantastic. Traditional with a roaring open fire.

We stayed here at the beautiful henlle lodges we was in birchwood heights tree house. My daughter in law booked this as a surprise birthday for my son her partner. I just want to say we had an amazing stay was really impressed. The bedrooms was immaculately clean amongst the rest of the lodge it has everything you need and was clean. Thanx housekeeping team you do a brilliant job. The man who cleaned our hot tub was polite and helpful. All I can say is everything here we couldn’t fault. The lady on reception was lovely even rang us to check were fine and if we needed anything. We didn’t want to leave but we will be definitely be coming back. So thank you so much for making us welcome it’s such a beautiful place and the wildlife was a bonus 5stars for everything xx

Forget breakfast ever turning up. After 75 minutes of waiting I gave up. The waiters are polite but it’s shear chaos behind the scenes and best given a miss unless you have all morning to spare. Very disappointing and this poor service given less than a thumbs down. Avoid.

I was taken out for Sunday Lunch yesterday at this Pub. I would not recommend this place at all. There was not a menu was told only beef or pork so we all ordered beef. We sat and waited and waited for food to come. When the meal came presentation was awful the Parsnips were not cooked and the BEEF was so tough it was terrible. We would never go there again

Where do I start, shocking staff attitude and ineptitude. Ordered steak (medium) came out rare with cold chips. Sent it back and came back without the sauce accompanying. My sister ordered steak which came out cold and the waitress then proceeded to test the temperature of her steak with her hand (sent back as well). Items added to the bill which didn’t come to the table. Table not cleared after eating main, no interest from the staff in taking dessert orders. Refused to pay for the meal, was offered a 20% discount but still refused to pay. No sign of a manager to complain to so email sent regarding the issues with all the staff

Even though it's on tripadvisor and on Meerkat meals I was advised they no longer serve food. Which is a shame as I'm sure there's a market for it in Weston Rhyn
