Tinsley's Takeaway in Shropshire

The owner looks after his customer very well. My chicken burger and chips was made pretty well. Good portion of chips. The prices are pretty cheap and reasonable as well. Glad I popped by. Not many eats outs around this area. I worked out it was four and this comes up top. Will pop by again.

Great chippy, always enjoy food from here and the service is great too. Very friendly feel.

Was passing by so called in, just chips with curry sauce, but excellent. Chips were just perfect, as in the way they were cooked and also the size too being on the larger (cut) size. Will deffo call in again.

Worse gravy and curry sauce ever had they were that thick couldn't even pour the sauce out of the cup🤑

Called here on 1/8/20 had chips gravy in a tray,they were outstanding,with free batter bits I hadn't seen since I was a kid.will be back for more.Delicious

Best chip shop meal I’ve had for a long time. Chips, sausage and curry sauce were all absolutely delicious to the point where I felt compelled to write a view. Highly recommended.

Lovely friendly staff always a warm welcome, delicious food, i would highly recommend the home made chicken curry with chips! the kids meals are great value.

Very good, much better than a couple of years ago. Especially loved the crispy bits of batter. Would recommend them. Very efficient and helpful staff.

Tinsley's catered for 60+ people and did a great job, the food was hot, everything tasted great and we all really enjoyed our chippy tea. The customer service was great and we couldn't of asked for better. Thanks again!

The worst fish and chips shop in the area. Absolutely awful. Taste like they are reheated from early in the day. Please avoid and go to Whittington!

I found this fish and chip shop by accident, but what a find. Fish is always cooked to perfection with a thin crisp batter and the chips are good as well.faggots are served on a friday night.Staff are friendly and polite.Prices are competitive.Excellent in every way.

Fish and chips really good and reasonably priced. Service was good and friendly, noticed they were doing battered creme eggs for easter. Will be back again when in the Oswestry area.

I go here on way home from work and always greeted with a friendly welcome no matter what time of day it is. Food cooked fresh to order so hasn't been sat on a hot plate either. Highly recommended

A stones throw from Gobowen station, just down the road opposite the Co-op. I travel 14 miles to get their fish and chips as, out of all I have tried, it is the best I have tasted in Shropshire. Good value for money, very friendly staff and top quality too. I like the Irish curry sauce with fish and chips. In fact I most just go tonight for a fix!

I visit the shop everytime I visit Gobowen. At Tinsleys you can't go wrong, it's always value for money & the tastiest fish and chips in the area by a mile. The curry sauce is lovely and compliments the meal well. There are other items on the menu fish bites for children and double cheeseburgers etc. Kris & Vicki are very friendly and look after you.
