The best restaurants serving British food in Alrewas and Fradley Lichfield West Midlands

A fascinating and poignant day. Superbly laid out. So much there but ample space for quiet contemplation. Well done the Royal British Legion.

We have lived in Alrewas for nearly 40 years and our recent visit to The Crown was the best we've had in a long time. Great service from friendly and engaging staff and beautiful tasty food; the bread and butter pudding was the best ive had. The pub was busy as it was bonfire night but the atmosphere was perfect. Will be back soon

We stopped with our Motorhome. Great space in the overflow carpark for us. Had dinner for two consecutive nights. The food was good tasty pub food. The roast dinner on the Sunday was superb. Fancy parsnip curls as well. Enjoyable. The service has been second to none and highly recommend. Great sight as well for lovely canal walks. Very dog friendly pub.

We waited an hour for 3 meals and one was wrong. Every time we go in there the waiting time is ridiculous and you can hear people complaining. My advice to the owner do not take orders without making it clear your waiting time. We would only go back for a drink as you dont have to wait and your less likely to get the order wrong.

New owners the site is warm clean and welcoming food starts from the 18th looking forward to booking in site is really being spruced up

Expensive pub prices for very basic freezer food. No atmosphere. No steaks available they had run out. Wouldn’t recommend. Customer service not the best. Menu was covered in food and sticky.

Super food, excellent service, and a great atmosphere. What’s not to like?! Four of us had a very enjoyable evening and would thoroughly recommend The Crown.
