What a good chip shop second time for me last week had the fish special today I had chicken kebab and chips absolutely beautiful such lovely staff don’t scrimp on what they give top chippy giving you 110 per cent my regular from now on 😁😁

The staff are so nice and the food is even better. I wish I could go everyday and with their prices I will probably be able too! In addition, the portion sizes are brilliant and it is suitable for everybody from young kids, to more elderly people. There is also an option to choose your own breakfast so if you are a picky eater, you can have whatever you want! Overall, I would highly recommend Saddlers, whether you want to go for breakfast or just a coffee (which were also brilliant by the way). The only negative things is that it is out the way of Uttoxeter's main town! It should be in the center because it is one of the best places in the whole town! Anyway, I would highly recommend this place and if you are going to go, make sure to bring someone else so they can also experience this delight!

I can’t say enough good things about the Vintage Tea Room! From the cozy vibe to the incredible food, it was just perfect. The sandwiches were so fresh and flavorful—definitely some of the best I’ve had. The drinks were amazing, with a great selection, each prepared beautifully. And the desserts? Absolutely delicious, the perfect finish to our meal. The friendly customer service from the staff really stood out; they made us feel so welcome and were attentive without being intrusive. It’s clear they put a lot of care into everything they serve. If you’re looking for a charming spot to relax and enjoy fantastic food, the Vintage Tea Room is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

Good food great prices staff friendly

Don’t bother. Booked a room for a business colleague so he was in the town centre. The place let me down and left me looking stupid. He told me his room was cold and not particularly clean and the shower had a constant drip which made it hard to fall to sleep. He also said there was no hot breakfast available in the morning. Such a shame.

Very close to Alton Towers, beautiful building with lots of character. Well decorated and kept very clean. Friendly staff who were accommodating to our late check in time, and didn't rush us out early either! Will definitely be back.

Pedigree is extremely good in the Red Lion. Plenty of bar snacks and always good music in the background.
