Whilst we always enjoy the food from Roses, the new delivery service leaves a lot to be desired. The past several times we've ordered, food has taken over an hour and a half to be delivered. When you place an order for a 12:15 delivery, you do not expect it to turn up closer to 2:00pm. If this was sorted out, I'd give it a higher rating, but it's unlikely we'll be ordering again as we've never had the food arrive at anything like a decent timeframe and again, we've encountered the same thing. They are clearly overstretched on dealing with deliveries and Uber Eats along with walk-in customers.

I nipped into Daisy's Kitchen for an hour while the car was having its MOT done as it's only five minutes' walk away from the Kwikfit. The first thing I noticed was how stylish and well-designed the cafe is: lots of black and cream modern fittings, flowers on display for a pop of colour, and wooden tables. The cafe's also kept spotless and the waitresses were very attentive throughout. There's a sign at the entrance to wait to be seated but as it was early in the day I was able to pick a pew straight away and order at the till once I made my selection. Usually I'd just go for a cuppa or something, but noticed Daisy's have a full festive drinks menu so chose to go for the Maltesers hot chocolate (£4.50). It's not the cheapest drink on offer but it's a full mugful, well-made and you get a good handful of Maltesers with it. As I sat with my drink the cafe started to fill up - lots of happy, relaxed customers enjoying their Friday morning. As the car needs some advisories working on, I'll be back in Rugeley in a few weeks' time and it'll be an excellent opportunity to try the food. A slice of cake from the counter would probably keep me full for a week, the portions are very generous but it looks mouth-watering! Lovely to see thriving independent businesses in the area. Recommended.

Had an offer so visited this place for lunch. We ordered 1 x mixed grill 1 x rump steak The grill was a delight. Plenty to eat and cooked as required. The meat was very tasty. The rump was ordered well done and it was cooked as ordered and still succulent. Both meals were very nice. Nice lady serving us with bags of personality too. I like to see that in a restaurant. The downside are the toilets. The middle sink in the toilets must be invisible to the cleaners as it's got loads of crap behind it and you can tell its been there a long time. Tiles missing too. These toilets need a bit of attention to detail. Overall a decent place to eat but let down by the toilet hygiene and cleaning.

This is the best Tesco's cafe ever. My husband and myself frequent it on a regular basis for lunch after shopping. All the staff, but in Particular Tess, Kerry, Helen, and Ed are all exceptionally friendly and helpful. They never fail to be pleasant even though at times they are very much under pressure. The food is always lovely. I really hope that the 'powers that be' do not try to change it, into something like the Lichfield Tesco's cafe which is very impersonal and not very nice at all The staff at the Rugeley cafe know their regulars but are always welcoming to ALL.
