We had afternoon tea here today. It was really lovely. Gorgeous food, nice staff, good location, lovely atmosphere, great value for money. Highly recommend.

We called into Daisys Kitchen on 07.03.2025 for lunch whilst visiting the town and not knowing the area. We were made to feel very welcome and our food/drinks order arrived promptly and was well presented and tasty. We enjoyed a couple of toasties and the salmon/avocado on sourdough which was particularly enjoyable. All in all a great lunch and we would highly recommend

Called in here for breakfast at the weekend and was very impressed. The cafe was very nice and welcoming inside and the menu was very extensive with almost all breakfast items covered. I had two lattes and a breakfast muffin whilst here and throughly enjoyed it all. As we didn’t book there were only bar stools available at the window, these were fine for us but we witnessed a lot of people get turned away who hadn’t booked so definitely do that if you’re planning on visiting.

We have been a few times and always made to feel unwelcome especially around 2pm an hour before closing. I must say that majority of staff are lovely but the younger generation are quite rude and sarcastic. My mums order was missing smoked salmon and she told the waitress who just seemed put out, no apology just took plate. My food has a small pot of coleslaw which was more or less empty I asked if I could have a full pot and the girl came back with it overflowing and then asked sarcastically if that was enough and then sniggered as walking away.

Takeaway Latte was quite expensive compared with some other local establishments. However, very sturdy cup and very creamy.

I recently visited daisies (dirty) kitchen that left me feeling extremely disappointed. The service was slow and unprofessional, and the food was terrible. My order was incorrect and the dish I received was cold and unappetizing. The restaurant was also dirty and the tables were sticky, And the owners scowl was enough to put anybody in their right mind off ever returning. Also to mention how the management treat their staff is appalling from late notice of shifts, to belittling staff down the phone as they messed up staffing for an event. Would avoid.

Well what can I say we have had fabulous lunch with cake today. Staff were so helpful, the service was great and the cakes on offer all looked amazing. The environment is very relaxing, will definitely be visiting again soon. Thank you for a lovely family outing.

I nipped into Daisy's Kitchen for an hour while the car was having its MOT done as it's only five minutes' walk away from the Kwikfit. The first thing I noticed was how stylish and well-designed the cafe is: lots of black and cream modern fittings, flowers on display for a pop of colour, and wooden tables. The cafe's also kept spotless and the waitresses were very attentive throughout. There's a sign at the entrance to wait to be seated but as it was early in the day I was able to pick a pew straight away and order at the till once I made my selection. Usually I'd just go for a cuppa or something, but noticed Daisy's have a full festive drinks menu so chose to go for the Maltesers hot chocolate (£4.50). It's not the cheapest drink on offer but it's a full mugful, well-made and you get a good handful of Maltesers with it. As I sat with my drink the cafe started to fill up - lots of happy, relaxed customers enjoying their Friday morning. As the car needs some advisories working on, I'll be back in Rugeley in a few weeks' time and it'll be an excellent opportunity to try the food. A slice of cake from the counter would probably keep me full for a week, the portions are very generous but it looks mouth-watering! Lovely to see thriving independent businesses in the area. Recommended.

There for a baby shower afternoon tea , very disappointed regarding food , sandwiches starting to go stale , not presented very well , expected it to be presented like an afternoon tea not just jumbled on a plate , for 25 pound not good value at all

My friend and I went for breakfast here about a month ago and couldn’t fault it apart from a very minor issue with the pots of tea ( there is a filter which is meant for tea leaves, but the staff insist on stuffing tea bags in them, so you can’t get a decent brew). We usually have breakfast at another establishment in town, but this was so good we thought we would make this our regular haunt. Despite booking a table for breakfast ie plates, cups and saucers, teapot etc, they had reserved a tiny high table with high stools. Both of us are the wrong side of 50 so these are not ideal, plus there was absolutely no room on the table. I get there first and was allowed to open a tab, so had a pot of tea while I waited for my friend. When we ordered the food we were asked to pay? This didn’t happen last time, so what the point of being allowed a tab was I now do not know. Breakfast was ok, but the plates were cold. There were some loud customers in there, which I accept is out of control of the staff, and also a man doing maintenance with a drill. This I also accept cannot at times be avoided. The staff remedy for this was to turn the music up so that conversation over our tiny table was impossible. Not a great experience 😢

My first visit was this afternoon for an early Mother's Day Afternoon Tea. We were given a warm welcome and shown to our table. The table was beautifully laid out with pink covering and daisy's, which was a lovely touch. The venue itself was well presented with a central work/service station. Cakes on display look fresh and well made. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The Afternoon Tea started with a shot glass of warm soup, which was lovely. The main event was displayed well and tasted delicious, plus a glass of bucks fizz, it was perfect. Thank you Daisy's Kitchen, I really enjoyed my visit. I will definitely return and would highly recommend this establishment.

Was really looking forward to coming here after hearing such wonderful things, however it was probably the worst breckfast I have ever had to be honest, not only that but the glasses table and cutlery weren't the cleanest dried sauce on the salt pots, we both had avacado on toast with poached egg and bacon. The toast was not toasted the avacado and microwaved egg were both freezing cold and the bacon was just pure fat. So disappointing I couldn't see a waitress to tell about this as noone checked on us nor was anyone about to ask so we just left.

Had a fantastic experience at The Rag Pub! The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. On top of that, the prices were very reasonable, making it great value for money. Highly recommend and will definitely be back
