Tesco Extra Cafe Rugeley Staffs in Cannock Chase

The breakfasts where good value and nice .The lady whom served us was so-so polite and trust worthy she apologized for making a small mist ache with our change and immediately rectified it.. This lady is a credit to Tesco's

Today I visited Tesco in Alfreton and whilst there decided to have a small breakfast. I ordered the avocado and halloumi muffin, it was awful. The muffin was rock hard, I couldn’t cut it or bite it. The halloumi was burnt. However, the avocado was nice. But for £3 whatever I expect the whole breakfast to be edible. Very disappointed.

Went during my lunch break and the staff were stretched they were doing there best. The panini I had, had been microwaved it was only just edible, I was hungry that I just ate it as I had to get back to work. It’s a nice cafe, light and spacious.

Passable food, but wheelchair unfriendly tables, unfortunately. As a wheelchair user, I was disappointed because I couldn’t get my chair under the table, because the table was too small. I would recommend the food, but not the tables.

Had my weekend breakfast there. Not bad. Wish it had more of a cafe feel to it. Coffee was hot, plate full. So was my belly afterwards

Visited on a Sunday lunchtime, 2 staff on. 1 serving and table service and the cook. Waited 10 minutes to be served as they are very understaffed!! Visited for a quick lunch, which this cafe doesn’t deliver. I wanted the soup to be told we haven’t got any but if you want to wait an hour and half we shall have some,no we was in a rush so opted for other items. Fishfinger wrap and a jacket potato with tuna,spring onion and cheese plus 2 coffees. It took 15 mins for coffees to arrive and a further 20mins for our lunch. Fishfinger wrap was just that, however the. Jacket was lukewarm, no spring onions at all with cheese thrown on the top so it couldn’t melt on a lukewarm potato.tables sticky, filled with dirty dishes etc and they shout out your order as if your in truckers cafe, every other Tesco cafe I’ve been in gives you a number for your table.not up to other Tesco cafes! This would suit anyone NOT in a hurry! Return we won’t we shall go a few miles down the road to bigger Tesco which is fantastic.

Good value breakfast and very pleasant staff. Usually very clean and welcoming better than other supermarket cafes in area

A quick visit for a much needed breakfast,service was quick and cheerful. I had a large breakfast which was very filling.

Great for a between shopping pit stop. Sadly the children's meal deals consisted of dry sandwiches which we had to change

This is just what a Cafe should be a friendly hello with basic food cooked well. I'm a fan! When going to a Cafe it's about getting the basics right and here they do, for the money you pay here you should not be expecting any more.

I use this cafe almost daily for convenience. The staff are all lovely, friendly and aim to please. They are dreadfully understaffed , as most afternoons you find no staff on counter and have to call them or tap door to back room. Drinks are a fair price, and although I’ve only ever had a pre packed cold snack or a cake the hot food looks quite good. The main problem here is , even if the cafe is almost empty most tables remain covered in cups and plates and debris and uncleared tables . This is a regular thing and I often have to ask for my table to be wiped clean after I have removed the dirty plates to another table myself. A shame as seems a popular place and as it’s set out of town with lots of free parking this cafe is worth a visit after doing your shopping in this lovely store.

we often call when shopping its always very handy and you know you will always get value for money whether its just a drink or something more

Other than every table having crumbs on it and the place being a bit messy the food was actually quite nice.

Muttering under breath and lots of attitude when returned cold and undercooked food. Shame this is within a Tesco as the Tesco employees are friendly and pleasant, shame the cafe employees aren't !

Clearly pre prepared mush masquerading as food. The coffee though was drinkable. The restaurant was clean and tidy and the tables were cleared quickly.

Paramos para almorzar antes de hacer una tienda. Buscamos en el menú y hay muy poca variedad de comida disponible y lo que está disponible es muy caro, cuando logré que alguien aviso nosotros y vienen de fuera de la parte trasera que pedí sin gluten me dijeron que todo lo que hacen es patata chaqueta. El personal no está interesado parece grosero y arrogante y ocupados hablando de sus planes de fin de semana, son una decepción para Tesco. Lo único bueno es que el lugar se veía limpio y ordenado.

Fuimos para el desayuno. Nadie en el hasta tomar nuestra orden. Miembro del personal salió nos miraba y luego entramos. Después de esperar 10 minutos, finalmente ordenados. Las edades para comida esperamos cocinado. Cuando venga tenían para Ddid mal. Tuvimos que esperar para ellos. Me pareció muy caro. Muchas mesas sucias. El personal no era súper simpático. No creo que volvamos como quedamos decepcionados con el desayuno y el servicio.

Fuimos para el desayuno hace unas pocas semanas. Asientos es cómoda y el personal mantenga la mesas limpias ordenadas anf. Documentos complementarios son siempre una buena idea. Tomamos café y tostadas, pero nos pareció que 20 p para mermelada era un poco de broma, más barato que ir a comprar una jarra y Tesco 55 p. . Aparte de eso me gustaría volver de nuevo. . .

the cafe is clean, and tidy, the costa coffee is not has good has the one in town, and the menu cauld be a lot better,their cauld be more on it.

Servicio de Atención al cliente Asistentes Tesco solía ser bastante servicial, y estuvo muy bien aprecia plenamente como una gran tienda cuando visite. La última vez una señora muy glamoroso sentados esperando como me descargado la gran tienda y vimos. Cuando pedí simplemente bolsas atadas en el mostrador. Ellos simplemente separa habría sido una gran ayuda, algunos son geniales y se empiezan a cerrar, el otro hasta que esté listo de nuevo! ocurrido hoy Puede considerar ir a Aldi!

Visitamos este café a la hora del almuerzo para comer algo rápido, con mi marido. Pedí pescado y patatas fritas y sólo me dijeron que "teníamos pescado ayer pero no hoy", así que después pedimos jamón, huevos y patatas fritas! Mi marido les pedimos desayuno durante todo el día y debo admitir que cuando llegó la salchichas y bacon había visto días mejores y no muy apetecible. No sirve con cualquier tostada del desayuno básico. Mi marido tenía agua embotellada que no me equivocaba con pero pedí un vaso de leche. Era horrible! No se conservan en la nevera así era cálida y agradable no beber! No hace falta decir que fue la primera y última vez que se visita este café.

I often pop down here when I have my grandson. Caters well for children and the meals are always nice and fresh. Try out the pizzas - very good!!!

May take a few minutes but food is cooked to order Nothing exceptional but food hasn't been sitting under a lamp for 45 minutes

The food is reasonably cheap and cheerful, tea is a good bargain, I don't know why they spoil it be serving expensive Costa Coffee. People who shop at Tesco's aren't looking for expensive coffee to drink. Its one of the main reasons I tend to shop at Asda or Morrisons instead of Tesco, although I note their coffee has increased in price lately

Called in for a Saturday breakfast. The staff are really friendly and helpful especially to less able customers. This is very nice to see. The food is well cooked and presented with no waiting. You can ask for exactly what you want with the breakfast. Definitely worth a visit

I selected the pizza with meat, which was served in about 8 minutes. The pizza base and cheese topping were tasty and hot; unfortunately the same cannot be said of the meat balls, which were stone cold, but just edible.It may be that I was unlucky, but other Tesco cafes I have used have usually all been excellent; having said that I have never eaten a Tesco pizza.

Decent, straightforward supermarket cafe with good breakfast and lunch meals. Friendly staff. Basic breakfast and a cappochini cost just £5.40 today.

Staff are terrible. Not interested, rude, arrogant, do not know how to make a coffee etc. They stand around on the till and play on the phones and discuss personal life. Shocking

This place is a joke. They couldn't get even the simplest of orders right. The staff have no idea what's on the menu and will not help at all when told they have messed up the order. Go to McDonald's. Save yourself the stress of being served by people you're amazed actually managed to dress themselves this morning.

... Errr, was that a Halifax advert? Anyway, this cafe is clean and has what you expect from Tescos. Good value, wholesome and well-cooked food. Recommended.

been on one or two occasions to give it a go and staff still don't know what their doing! why have an order till and a pay till when its a small café anyway! big breakfast is not worth the price either when I can go elsewhere.. drinks are slow and there is no such thing as a bacon sandwiches on the menu just fancy over priced sandwiches..

Expensive for what you get to be honest, all cooked okay but not even toast included. Would only bother again if I'm hungry to stop impulse buying loads of food I don't need.

I came here with my daughter the food was nice but i didn't find there was much choice and not very spacey. The staff were friendly though.

It's a supermarket cafe trying to be a restaurant. The menu is limited although it was freshly cooked for us. We went for breakfast before the weekly shop and were disappointed by how limited the selection was. They have tried to make it more aesthetically pleasing however, it's still a supermarket cafe with pretty limited seating.

Poor food, it had been standing for ages, we had a Yorkshire pudding at 4.00pm it was rock hard!, we were advised that they were cooked that morning which means my Yorkshire pudding was been kept warm for around 5 hours, when we complained no-one seemed that bothered and eventually offered a free cup of tea!, Really poor service

OK early days but more practice needed. Tried a toasted sanny, only one side was toasted and the bread used was paper thin. The coffee was ultra milky and pretty weak. Decided not to have a piece of cake as they were all displayed open to the elements. Next time I will just wait until I get home and do my own proper toasted sanny and better stronger coffee.

new tesco in rugeley , decided to leave the cafe for a few days in the hope any teething problems would have been sorted, unfortunately they havent.items on the menu not available ( pie of the day ) loads of staff on duty ( 6 or 8 ) but nobody seemed to know how the tills work or where to find things on it , food comes out in random order irrelevant of who ordered first, had ham,eggs and chips , ham/eggs decent but the chips were disgusting. nice hot chocolate but at £2.65 very steep, much better available in the town much cheaper ( eg roses cafe albion street)might get better once things settle down and everyone knows what they are doing but first impressions count and i wont be eating here again
