We had the most delightful evening at The Bay Tree last night for a Christmas meetup with friends. From the moment we walked in, the warm, welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. The food? Absolutely amazing! You simply can't beat the taste of home-cooked meals crafted with care, and The Bay Tree delivers that in every bite. Each dish was bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection—truly a treat for the taste buds! Rene and Kevin were, as always, absolutely fantastic. Their hospitality, attention to detail, and friendly demeanor made the whole experience even more special. If you're looking for a cosy, delicious, and memorable dining experience, The Bay Tree is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Mothering Sunday We booked here after seeing the website and sample menus Basically, the sample menu and actual have little similarity The pub is basically not trading No draft beer , lager No sparkling water etc Having come thru the hospitality troubles and lost a business I know how tough it is But be fair on your page state limited options Remain polite, and remember the customer can make an informed decision as we did and left before we ordered as frankly having seen some food going out thought it was not to our taste One last point, decency when addressing customers costs little, an off hand rude attitude in a market where other choices exist is not acceptable Much to be improved

Lovely roast lunch during Easter period, with a ‘ home cooked ‘ feel. As usual, The Orchard Inn can always be relied upon for an excellent roast. Ample portions, cooked well & presentation good & piping hot. Service prompt & friendly. Will definitely be returning. I have ordered their ‘ take away’ roast in the past too, & this is always excellent & such a great idea!

This is one of the best places I’ve been in a long time. Great food and excellent value for money. Not sure how they manage to keep prices down. Staff very friendly too

Went to this cafe to get some breakfast and a hot drink, we entered the cafe and my sister went to look for a seat as the cafe looked a bit cold, so we wanted somewhere out the back, as soon as she walked towards the back, the snotty woman serving was extremely rude nearly shouting ‘can I help you’ in front of other customers, as though my sister was doing something wrong! Not going in staff quarters just to the rear of the cafe! Then proudly announced that they were not serving food only drinks! This all could have been relayed to us in a more inviting way, we just felt we were putting her out having dared walk into A cafe. Staff training needed here.

Arrived at 2pm on a Monday with family. Waitress who greeted us couldn’t have been more helpful. She told us the kitchen would close in 30mins but said she could get us a table. The bar we were in reminded me of how pubs used to be. Flagstone floor wooden seats and an old fashioned bar skittles game in the corner. Waitress was efficient and friendly and we got our drinks quickly. Food was amazing, very tasty and good portions. Mains were about £15-25. Bill for 4 or us including service and 2 rounds of drinks was £125.

We just saw the place on the map on our way down to Seaton and thought it looked like a good spot to eat and the menu looked good. We got there and such a welcoming beautiful little put, with a lot of history to it. The place is modern decor, and really comfortable. The service was most excellent, Nicky, could have been more gracious and welcoming. The food was delicious, GF options available. We had a seafood chowder, and prawn Maryrose in a baguette and chips. A strong pot of tea that woke me right up for the rest of my travels. The pub & village, is less than 5 minutes off the A303 and a hidden gem. I highly recommend this place. Thank you all at The Camelot Pub!
